**What do you like best about Xref?**

The service from customer relationship managers. They seek to understand the organisation and provide really valuable insight into how to get honest, reliable and useful responses from employees so that the organisation can continute to grow and learn. The surveys are very user friendly and we often see a high response rate due to this. I really like enjoy using the dashboard and data set that is created.

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

Being able to customise some of the questions would be great. I know customisation is possible with a fee but if it was possible to have additional optional questions that the company could select from that would help a lot.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing data on how our employees feel about working at our organisation, providing the organisation with actionable insights so we can make the required changes to keep employees happy at work and delivering on our purpose.
We are also able to create surveys that we can send to our clients to capture their feedback at certain milestones during their individual journey. This allows us to better understand the experience of our clients and improve on any areas for greater service delivery.

**What do you like best about Xref?**

Fully automated and integrated with our RMS/ATS - simple to use, very user friendly (internally & externally). 
Its a game changer for internal TA teams but also for hiring managers. As for the candidate and the referees experience, we have also only heard good things thus far.

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

Like any system, there are bugs at times when new versions or patches are rolled out, but the Xref tech & support teams are on top of these and always sorts things out.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conducting reference checks takes a lot of time and effort; with an automated system that relies on candidates to reach out to their referees and by responsibilizing them to do it, the results are much faster and easier to get. The system also allows you to passively get referees interested in joining your organization which is very cool.

**What do you like best about Xref?**

Xref extremely easy to use. I love that setting up a reference check doesn't take too much time, and once the the information is in the system, Xref quickly takes care of the automation and sending our periodic reminders.

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

I really don't have anything negative to say about this platform. It has worked flawlessly for our organization. For me, the best feature is the ability for referrals to includes their information to explore future opportunities.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Xref primarily because it gives us the ability to detect fraudulent referrals via IP addresses, it has been very beneficial to our organization, it has sped up our hiring process and has taken the responsibility of referrals out of the hands of managers.

The interface is intuitive, easy-to-use making the onboarding process smooth for both employers and candidates

The pricing structure is on the higher side. This would be more noticible for those with less frequent hiring needs, like smaller organisations.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the manual, time-consuming reference checking process. Traditional reference checking for our organisation would usually involve lengthy phone calls or back-and-forth emails, which can delay hiring process and in-turn effect the candidate experience. The automated reference-checking process allows us to send reference requests which candidates and referees can respond to at their convenience. This reduces our need for manual follow-ups and speeds up the process.

**What do you like best about Xref?**

The platform is so user-friendly for both administrators and candidates. The ref check itself saves our team so much time and a lot of the references are completed outside of standard business hours which means we get the reference back within a 24 hour period. We've also just recently integrated into our ATS - Workday!

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

Very minor, but having to log in every time, no single sign on.

**Recommendations to others considering Xref:**

Have been using xref for 5 years now and have never had an issue with the platform ever. Couldn't ever imagine working in this industry without it.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves our Talent Acquisition team so much time. They don't have to spend time constantly following up on references, leaving messages/calling back referees. Additionally picks up on any red flags/fraudulent references.

sometimes the emails to candidates go to junk/spam folders.

It is so easy and simple to request reference checks for candidates and once completed, it is easy to review the reference checks and save them for future reference.

Sometimes it can be hard to cancel a request if the candidate has added referee details but they havent been completed.

I love that everything is digital and can be seamlessly sent out to applicants and their references!

I don't love that there are glitches with it connecting to our applicant tracking system at times.

Having to pick up the phone and keep track of references! It's all in one compact space.

when downloading the references, it just downloads as Sydney Water, rather than having the candidate's name, this will help us is sending the references straigh away if it was enabled.

Our consultant is very responsive as well as insightful on how to interpret the results which gives us better understanding and allows us to communicate the results better to our company. The platform is very easy to use and it's great to review previous results next to current results to see progress

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

The feature of downloading/exporting is not available for all tabs and the print to pdf is a screenshot but of the page that you are viewing so it's not very efficient or useful.

recording our employees feedback and categorising the results to help the business be focus in particular areas. This makes it easier to align to our action plans.

**What do you like best about Xref?**

The employee engagement survey is well designed, user friendly, with some excellent reporting analytics.  The external benchmarks allow you to validate your results against relevant industry results.  The dashboards provide wonderful, visual graphics that really tell the story.

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

Not much - the only thing I would recommend are some improvements to the backend administration.  Would be great to be able to edit access rights rather than deleting and then recreating them from scratch.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to increase employee engagement, which in turn will assist retention and productivity as well.  Tracking results year to year, and measuring against external benchmarks, ensure our actions are on the right track.

The customer support was amazing ,Alex was available to answer questions at any time ,attend training meetings and briefings with our Senior leaders. The product was extremely easy to implement . We used the product for our Staff Engagement survey and to complete a number of management 360 reviews across the 12 month period. We received great feedback from the participants about the process and the information they received.

I really dont have any down sides as we were happy with all aspects of the product and service received

**What do you like best about Xref?**

It relieves me from hours of doing manual ref checks and the turnaround is quite quick, actually a lot quicker than chasing up referees constantly as this has a reminder that keeps getting sent out to the referees to fill the reference check template.   Just an efficient tool and excellent for time management. Ref checks are kept on file and also if there is an issue with the authenticity of where the ref check came from X-Ref warns you .  It is so easy to use & implement , you can upload the questions you want as if you were doing the ref check yourself . The customer service is also amazing

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

You cannot verify the referee they are using and if they do not fill it in correctly you have to call back and do it manually. Also when they do not respond you have to go back to candidate to put in other referees

Time management . Prior ref checks were taking me 45 minutes for each and i was doing multiple which not only was cutting into my time and i had to work many long hours to complete this but it is hard on the shoulders to type these all day long

Alex was our Senior Consultant. He provided transparent advice and guidance on how to maximise engagement to achieve extensive data sets to analyse and improve our service for the people we support. 

Additionally, Xref's new results dashboard is user-friendly and offers customisation which allows organisations to interpret survey results as needed by all levels of the organisation.

There was not really anything to note about Xref Engages service or Alex. Support was always available, turn around was timely on actions and results are easily accessible and interpreted.

When our company began utilizing xRef, it was quickly realized just how much easier it is to obtain references on the candidates that our hiring managers have an interest in hiring. The process to obtain references has been easier, more efficient, and provides hiring managers with a report that can be exported to review the references. Its a great tool with easy implementation, easy ways to receive references, and easy reports to obtain that are readable and efficient.

The only downside of xRef is the inability to change the report criteria and being able to implement different reference questions that are specific to the position that hiring managers typically would prefer to have as criteria in the report.

**What do you like best about Xref?**

Xref is extremely easy to understand and navigate, which makes reference checks an easy streamlined process. Customer service is responsive and helpful with any queries!

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

The inability to custom build your own questions in a template - however an easy fix as this can be done in the back end.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

xREF is allowing reference checks to be completed in a nominated referee's own time, meaning references can be completed efficiently and with as much thought as possible. It saves playing phone tennis, and allows the process to be conducted smoothly. It saves employers time to be able to review these references without having to write them themselves, minimising room for any misunderstanding or error.

Cannot intuitively figure out how to download the results to a PowerPoint presentation and there is no "how to guide" to help figure this out.

**What do you like best about Xref?**

The fact that I send the link to a candidate and they are responsible for filling everything in and confirming that their references respond in a timely manner. It saves me so much time. It also creates a situation where since I am not actually interviewing the manager personally, I don't even need to be part of the same industry. I can just send out a link and it gets responded to since the question sheet is set up to handle that.

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

I like everything about XREF, it's my favourite program. I can't imagine trying to do my job without it. I even discovered two candidates who tried to fill in thier own references so was able to catch dishonesty. The program will show if users are all logging in from the same IP address.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it solves the problem of having to chase after candidates and their references. I don't have to waste my time talking on the phone when I could be working! It saves me so much time. And it also solves the issue of having having friends pretend to be managers. It's amazing. They also have the ability to send out exit interviews!

**What do you like best about Xref?**

The provision of data to influence decision making and measure performance. I particularly like the correlation between onboarding, engagement and exit data, and the 360 feedback in the middle. The best part of XRef is the personalised support offered from the team with special mention to Dr Louise Parkes who is an outstanding service provider.

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

No downside, opportunities to expand the product base, especially to include other consultation processes such as heat mapping for psychosocial hazards and risks.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engagement and exit, and performance as well as the HR analytics data to track engagement across a wide range or organisational sectors, demographics and challenges.

**What do you like best about Xref?**

XREF is by far the most user-friendly reference checking software I've used. 

As a recruiter, I manage consistently high volumes of candidates in the health care sector and the time saved by utilising XREF in our recruitment workflow is priceless. 

Once you've set up your reference check templates via the template builder, the process is fully automated, making it as simple as entering the candiate's email and phone number - XREF does the rest!  XREF will send out reminders to both candidates and referees when they've not actioned their reference request in a timely manner, meaning I no longer have to spend my valuable time playing phone tag!

Love the feature that flags a reference as suspicious when a candidate's referee accesses their reference from the same IP address as them. It provides us with even more confidence in an already wonderful product.

Customer support is great - the team are always very quick to respond to any enquiries I may have.

Thanks XREF. I'm a big fan and will continue using your product in the years to come.

**What do you dislike about Xref?**

It's hard to find fault with the XREF platform. It would be nice to be able to set custom time periods for candidate and referee reminders etc.

**What problems is Xref solving and how is that benefiting you?**

XREF frees up my time as a recruiter.  When you add up the time it would take me to try and reach a referee and then complete the check over the phone, I am saving anywhere up to 30 minutes or so per candidate.

I like how quickly I can get references done. I also like that it lets me know of any suspicious activity.

Sometimes, suspicious activity/ flags don't show up on the initial report. Instead I get an email from X-Ref end of day.. which is unreliable.

No downside, however from an admin perspective, i can see that credits are being used but the list doesnt reflect the same information.
