# Which marketplace platforms actually hold up for a small business, not just enterprise brands?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hey G2 community, I've been comparing <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/marketplace/small-business">marketplace software</a> specifically from a small business angle, because most "top" lists just run down whichever products have the highest overall G2 score, and a lot of those scores are propped up by mid-market or enterprise reviews. I wanted to know which platforms small business reviewers, not analysts, actually vouch for.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Pulling straight from small business reviews on G2:</p><ul>

Has anyone here switched platforms after outgrowing one of these, and if so, what pushed you to make the jump?</p>

Honest heads-up: G2 doesn&#39;t have one clean category for &quot;build-your-own marketplace&quot; software, the marketplace listings there are mostly app stores (AWS, ADP, UKG), so I can&#39;t rank this from a single G2 grid, I&#39;ll flag I&#39;m going on established positioning. For a small business wanting to launch a multi-vendor marketplace without enterprise budget, Sharetribe is the name that comes up most, it&#39;s a largely no-code marketplace builder aimed at startups and small businesses, so you can get going without a dev team. CS-Cart Multi-Vendor and Arcadier are other options that scale down to SMBs, and Yo!Kart is a self-hosted one. The enterprise-grade platforms (Mirakl, VTEX) are powerful but priced and built for big brands, which is exactly what you&#39;re trying to avoid. To be real, the SMB question is total cost plus how much you&#39;ll self-manage, so I&#39;d trial the no-code builders first. What are you selling, physical goods, services, or rentals? That affects which builder fits.
