**What do you like best about WorkTime?**

I find WorkTime's customization options for the dashboard and features particularly valuable because they allow each experience to be truly tailored to our organization. Since we deal with sensitive information, the HIPAA mode is a no-brainer, providing necessary compliance and security. I also appreciate that we're able to customize the sensitivity settings like 'idle' status, which helps ensure accurate metrics. Additionally, the initial setup of WorkTime was very easy from what I remember, and their support is very responsive if you have any questions.

**What do you dislike about WorkTime?**

There's not a lot of education and dedication to the features and how to use or tailor the experience. It's kind of like being thrown to the wolves. While the support is very responsive if you have questions, it would be helpful to have more demos or a better page showcasing features and their functions. Each feature is currently locked behind its page on their website, and it's unreasonable to expect people to read every page.

WorkTime gives us everything we need to know about our employee’s activity and productivity metrics all in one place.

**What do you like best about WorkTime?**

This is the least intrusive monitoring software I've found to keep track of staff working from home. It keeps an eye on system use without spying on the employee. Managers are able to get the metrics they need and employees don't feel like they're being micromanaged or their privacy is being invaded.

**What do you dislike about WorkTime?**

I'm not impressed with the way it deals with tracking hours of operation. None of our employees work the exact same hours and they never take breaks or lunch at the same time. It seems to skew some of the productivity reports. There may be a different way to set this up, but I haven't found it.

**What problems is WorkTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been vehemently against monitoring software my entire career, but Worktime seems to skate a fine line between monitoring productivity and retaining a sense of privacy. Worktime gives us insight into why top performers in a department might be succeeding where other employees are struggling. As we hire more and more staff that are hybrid or full time work from home, worktime helps us see who's actually working and who's not.

I love how WorkTime provides a clear picture of how working hours are utilized, allowing for more efficient focus on tasks. The ability to track activity quietly without disrupting the workflow of teammates is extremely beneficial. It simplifies the process of identifying areas for improvement and highlights distractions. Additionally, I find the initial setup of WorkTime to be simple and straightforward, with the installation process being smooth and not requiring any detailed technical knowledge.

Sometimes, teammates can become too conscious of the tracking capabilities, which can feel stressful. It would help if the tool could better recognize the context of activities so that every website visit or small break isn't flagged as unproductive, as these are a part of normal work culture.

I use WorkTime to track employee hours, helping focus on tasks efficiently without disrupting team workflow. It clarifies work hour usage, identifies distractions, and suggests areas for improvement.

Definitely reporting can be improved, just having issues with reporting as well as a clear outlier to what is being seen as productive and non-productive

Additionally, I find the customization options for reports to be inadequate; more flexibility here would be beneficial.

I really value WorkTime for its ability to track who's working when I'm not in the office. It's the most reliable time-tracking tool I've used, showing me exactly what my team is working on at any moment. Everything runs smoothly without any errors or glitches, and I find the initial setup very easy.

The customization options in WorkTime could be better. I wish they had things like custom fields, editable layouts, and the ability to build my own report templates. A few extra settings for alerts and scheduling would also be helpful.

WorkTime allows for consistent, effortless, and robust tracking and reporting of all time spent on any computer-based activities, including time spent on any application used - including websites visited - as well as time spent NOT working.  The reporting features allow for drilling down into not only the applications used but also the specific documents, files, and websites utilized.

**What do you dislike about WorkTime?**

There is very little that I dislike about WorkTime.  My only "dislike" if you could call it that is the need to continually subscribe to WorkTime on an annual basis in order to continue using the product.  This model - Software as a Service (SaaS) - has become the standard in virtually all applications nowadays so this is hardly a sticking point.

**What problems is WorkTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkTime helps me effectively and efficiently track, log, and report on all time spent working on my computer - across any and all applications, documents, files, and websites utilized - to enable me to accurately track time spent on projects, events, and matters.  WorkTime is a huge benefit in ensuring that all of my time is accounted for and billed accordingly.

The agent was very easy to install. We did experience a delay with installation on Macs, as it wasn’t feasible at that time, but the Worktime team managed to implement it successfully. Their support was responsive and helpful throughout the process, and overall the setup was smooth and efficient.

**What do you dislike about WorkTime?**

You really can’t physically remove an agent from a computer. When an employee leaves and is working remotely, there’s no way for admins to remove them from the monitoring list. The only workaround is to mark that person as “Do Not Monitor.”

To comply with health and safety requirements, we needed a reliable way to monitor time and attendance for remote employees—and WorkTime provided the perfect solution.

**What do you like best about WorkTime?**

WorkTime was a great help, especially during the pandemic. It enabled us to effectively monitor our remote employees and identify those who demonstrated honesty and integrity in their work. We generate daily reports to monitor employee idle time and provide these to the leadership team to identify and flag individuals with consistently high idle hours. The system is user-friendly and delivers accurate, reliable reports. I appreciate the ease of installation—it’s quick, seamless, and the computers automatically show up on the WorkTime dashboard after setup. We assigned a dedicated employee to download the monitoring reports each day, which helps the team remain focused and minimize idle time.

**What do you dislike about WorkTime?**

here are times when the reports are inaccessible, and unfortunately, support is not available 24/7.

WorkTime is effective in identifying employees who appear active but are actually idle, including those using key clamping. It also greatly supports attendance tracking, allowing us to verify if an employee was present based on the full activity log when they forget to clock in.

Works even on older laptops. Starts tracking right away. The reports are simple to understand. You can set up automatic alerts.

Previously, I had to mark apps and websites as productive or not. In the new release, the team used AI to make it easier, and now it saves a lot of time.

Had a small login issue right after setup [my browser was the problem]. Sent a quick message to support and they replied almost straight away. A couple of minutes later it was fixed. Didn't think it would be that quick , to be honest.

Needed a bit of time to figure out where some settings were hiding, but after a day or two it became second nature.

**What do you like best about WorkTime?**

WorkTime is an excellent monitoring platform. It’s very easy to implement and use. It has allowed us to maintain an optimal remote work setup while meeting the attendance control requirements of our HR department. Specially without compromising employee privacy, providing the necessary information for effective management without undermining the trust within our teams. We've been using it for quite some time with a staff of over 40 people and haven’t had a single issue so far. I highly recommend it.

Simple to use and understand with no real learning curve. It made it very easy to hand over the control to team managers once configured and reduce the IT burden. It was extremely easy to setup and use on an ongoing basis.

Its not the cheapest option on the market, but when it comes to getting what you pay for, WorkTime proves that a little extra upfront gives you returns by utilising less admin and IT time

WorkTime allows us to monitor where the lie is when we have productivity issues and discrepancies between people in the same role. It allows us to pinpoint whether an issue is Workflow, Hardware or a people problem.

WorkTime was very easy to deploy as well ad monitor.  IT is also priced affordably.

The front end was a little cumbersome to navigate until I became familiar with it.  After a learning curve it was much easier.

It is letting me look at the use of "idle time" in the environment.  IT allows very granular reporting that lets me know what my employees are doing when not being tasked.

The best part of WorkTime is its simplicity and silent operation. It runs in the background without interrupting daily tasks while giving us detailed productivity reports. It has helped identify time-wasting patterns and improved task focus. The reports are easy to read and ideal for remote work tracking. The setup was quick, and the customer support has been responsive and helpful.

One minor issue is the limited customization when setting break times or defining what counts as "idle" — sometimes short breaks are marked as inactive. Also, a mobile-friendly dashboard would be a great addition for managers on the go. But overall, nothing that breaks the experience.

It does what it claims to do, Well!  Helped tracking employees whom management suspected.

It tracks "Everything". Unless employees are not provided with dedicated work machines, this can affect their personal privacy.

The accuracy of time tracking is excellent. We rely on the application to calculate payroll and overtime, and it has minimized errors in these processes. The interface is incredibly intuitive. I find it easy to navigate. This level of transparency has enhanced accountability. Good customer support as well.

I use it most to track the active and idle time of my team. Based on active time, the attendance is marked which seems a fair way to all of us here at USTech. 
And yes, the customer support is exceptional.
