**What do you like best about WorkSpan?**

I have been using this on daily basis and it's easy to use to track all accounts, their lifecycle, and their performance based incentive. The best part is it has multiple types of report that you can work with and you can also customise the reports as per your requirements with multiple dashboard if you want it to present to your boss or management.

**What do you dislike about WorkSpan?**

As always, there are two sides of a coin. WorkSpan has some negative points as well to consider. For a first time user, the UI, the options, different dashboard aren't intuitive. It would take some handholding to tell the new user how and where to navigate. Also, the payout statuses changes way too frequent which creates a lot of confusion if this tool is your goto tool for tracking. Nevertheless, the support  is awesome and very prompt on the raised tickets.

**What problems is WorkSpan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We, as Cisco-partner, use WorkSpan for tracking Accounts Lifecycle and their incentive payouts. Before WorkSpan was introduced, we used to keep a track of everything on the excel sheets which is now replaced by workSpan. Their reports, dashboard, and tracking has made it super easy and time efficient. And everything is quite handy especially when your boss wants a report in 10 minutes of how much LCI is claimed and how much is residue. So, overall it is beneficial in multiple ways

**What do you like best about WorkSpan?**

The WorkSpan team was good at bringing us up to speed about how WorkSpan can help with our Co-Sell management. They have a strong team between the consulting side and people on the technical team.

It was relatively easy to implement and roll out to our field. The initital feedback from our sales team is good, and people are seeing the value in having WorkSpan in our Salesforce instance and how it will help them work better in the marketplace and partner with the AWS team.

**What do you dislike about WorkSpan?**

I think this was more of an issue with how we first started the kick-off, we should have had the right stakeholders internally involved. I joined later due to being off on a Pat leave. Our future iterations of WorkSpan will be easier.

We had a product feedback session as there were a couple of gaps with how the Salesforce package is setup, and limitations on the address fields.

**What problems is WorkSpan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In order for Postman to scale our channel business, we need to streamline our deal registration process with our partners.  Making it easier to share deals between Postman and their partners will encourage more co-selling and relationship building with our partners.  Our current process with AWS is completely manual and involves our Head of Global Channels and Alliances submitting deal registrations individually on behalf of our sales reps.  This is happening directly in AWS Partner Central.  This manual process also introduces more opportunity for human error which lead to reporting inaccuracies.

**What do you like best about WorkSpan?**

Workspan facilitates sharing data between organizations to help drive opportunities without having to do lots of double-entry work. That ensures better use/adoption of the platform.

**What do you dislike about WorkSpan?**

While the training was comprehensive, I found it hard to align the training modules with our implementation. After the training, I felt I had a good handle on how to use Workspan and then found myself struggling to make my instance match what I had seen in the training. Also, sharing data between organizations via tools like Salesforce is great; but, it involves getting admins to make changes and that may difficult in some organizations.

**What problems is WorkSpan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A partner invited us to use WorkSpan for co-selling opportunities, so you could argue our partner is managing us since they initiated the suggestion to use WorkSpan. The enormous benefit is sharing information on co-selling opportunities so both companies have visibility into the same opportunities to help drive revenue.

I think that screen transitions take time and that granting access rights to new users is complicated.

However, this may be largely a problem due to internal systems

Create reports according to my own feasibility. Act as a single pane of glass for me to look around my Lci and keep track of them, just a click away.

There are still a few glitches, but who is focusing on some dislikes when you have immensely useful things that make your life much easier?

Previously, I used PPE to keep track, but after using Workspan, I don't need to keep track anymore as Workspace does it for me. Help me in creating reports and graphs as well.

This software has introduced the concept of co-investing into digital assets which has helped small startups like ours to fetch decent amount of returns. It has helped us to tie up with other big players in the market to cater to the needs of their personal user base defining our existence in a proftable manner.

Co-selling through WorkSpan is a task as we require multiple approvals and have to reach the targets set by an organisation of a higher strata which can be theoretical for smaller scale startups. Choosing the right partner to co-invest or co-market requires assistance or expert opinion which WorkSpan lacks.

WorkSpan has helped to increase efficiency by decreasing investments in marketing, selling and investing. As we are coinvesting with other players, it is a wide exposure for the entire team thus giving us a wider perspective during the development phase of a product.

Reports, you can easily report about your workspan (WS) activities. Export of data is easy which helps to show in our customer facing systems and internal systems.

enhancements could be that in some forms you cannot copy/paste text to search for, this should be selectable. Also it is not so easy toe work with split screens.

With Workspan a lot of work processes have become easier - 

1) Revenue generation has become faster
2) Partner Management has become effective

Overall our team is happy with the services.

Our team at Fllink believes processes should be eased out it any workspace. This is what WorkSpan does. 

We did not find any downsides to using it internally for growth and business expansion, although there could be more added services like affiliates etc.

At Fllink, we use WorkSpan for several reasons -

2) For incentives management
3) For finding scalable opportunities

**What do you like best about WorkSpan?**

The ability to streamline our program while enabling it to scale. My team saw benefits through a fund management process that is digitized on the platform, allowing us and our partners to work collaboratively to reduce the time and effort needed to approve and claim MDF campaigns.  We've been able to reduce costs which allowed us to put that back into driving engagement for Red Hat and Intel.

The interface could be more user friendly - not very intuitive on where to go for information.

**What problems is WorkSpan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having self-service access to one platform to manage campaign proposals, funding decisions, and claim status. Field marketers can now submit their campaigns directly, leading to increased engagement across the regions, and Intel can approve without involving the corporate team. We no longer require a 3rd party to submit claims. The financial process has been significantly improved, with our finance team having a customized budget page to reconcile payments & claims, reducing workload and increasing operational efficiencies and accuracy. Our claim cycles have been reduced by 75%, with six steps eliminated from the process. The number of campaigns managed has increased by 62%, and funding managed has increased by 22%. This helped us deliver a 67X ROI- 400% over goal.

**What do you like best about WorkSpan?**

The ability to work on opportunities, jointly with our software partners. While SAP has their own CRM system, and our partners have their own CRM systems, workspan allows SAP (And our partners ) to expand and grow the pipeline - joint pipeline. This avoids any channel conflict and increases the collaboration. When the joint opportunity progresses to the point where it is a real opportunity for both SAP and our partner.. we have the synchronization into our CRM systems to insure proper tracking for the partner organization, the partner, and the sales organization

**What do you dislike about WorkSpan?**

Workspan has a concept of many opportunities associated with one activity... this is the opposite type of thinking for most traditional CRM systems and has been the hardest thing for me to get my head around.  I think of one opportunity and activities logged against that... My urge is to log all activities in workspan.. but, that really should be left to core CRM systems.

**What problems is WorkSpan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving joint campaign execution ... by far the biggest benefit.. when you can securely share a target list of prospects, divide and conquer with a partner, and execute a campaign- that drives revenue... for both SAP and the partner... and driving revenue is why we are here. 

Other benefits received,  tracking budget for events to measure success and whether we should continue to invest in those events going forward .. uploading pre-pipeline associated with the event is how this is accomplished.

Partnering is part of our DNA, but it is hard work.  With WorkSpan, we finally have a truly collaborative platform that lets us GTM with our Partners and is flexible to support all types of partner motions.

I don't think there is a downside.  The challenge is to get everyone out of the comfort box they have been in for so many years of doing things the old way.  There is a new way and a better way.  Get on board!

We run over 500 pre-pipe Sales Plans with partners and directly integrate to - this saves our partner business managers 4-5 hours every week, and the collaboration starts before the call starts. We’ve reduced the time to update pipeline data, and are now supporting more than 4x the joint opportunities without any headcount increases.

**What do you like best about WorkSpan?**

It makes approval processes easier by tracking where opportunities are and who is responsible to move approvals forward. It also has functionality for different types of programs so can be used across teams/programs in my extended team.

**What do you dislike about WorkSpan?**

Perceived complexity - once trained, the platform is straightforward. The learning curve seems to make people use the platform less frequently until they understand it.

**What problems is WorkSpan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminating email back and forth, consolidating processes in approvals in one place, providing a bridge to partners and making our programs easier to use.

The user interface was visually appealing. 

**What do you dislike about WorkSpan?**

Overall, it seemed very difficult to work with. I was constantly creating tasks instead of actually working on my actual projects. 

**Recommendations to others considering WorkSpan:**

I would really make sure you go through multiple demos to fully understand how much work you will be putting into the tool to update stuff instead of just doing it on your own. I personally find Basecamp a better alternative to this. 

**What problems is WorkSpan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is supposed to be a content management and project tool.
