## WorkMotion Reviews
 ### 1. Friendly reps, but poor ownership and transparency left me unsupported after a payroll error

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martina M. | Manager, Trust and Employer Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

1. What is most helpful about WM?
The only genuinely positive aspect of my experience was the attitude of the two girls supporting me during the calls. They were friendly, polite, and tried to be helpful on a personal level. Apart from that, I did not find the platform, onboarding, or overall process particularly supportive or efficient.

2. What are the upsides of using WM?
Unfortunately, my experience was largely negative across multiple areas.

UI / UX:
The overall process felt confusing and non-transparent. Information was scattered, updates were unclear, and it was often difficult to understand the actual status of ongoing issues or next steps. Communication lacked clarity and structure.

Integrations / Coordination:
The coordination with the vendor was extremely poor. I constantly had the impression that WM and the vendor were disconnected, leaving me stuck in the middle without clear ownership or accountability.

Performance:
Response times were slow, follow-ups inconsistent, and important matters were not handled with the urgency they required. I repeatedly had to chase people myself to get basic updates.

Support / Onboarding:
This was by far the biggest disappointment. The vendor made a HUGE mistake on my first payslip, and despite me explaining the seriousness of the issue and providing all requested documents well in advance, WM offered little meaningful support and never provided a proper explanation or resolution path. I eventually had to involve a friend still working at the company just to get reactions from them, which should never happen in a professional service environment.

Pricing / ROI:
Considering the level of support received, I honestly struggle to see the value provided. The experience created additional stress rather than reducing it.

AI / Intelligence:
If automation or AI tools were involved in the workflow, they did not improve the experience. Most communication felt generic, unclear, and lacking context or ownership.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of transparency, accountability, and effective problem-solving throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

1. What was the least helpful about WM?
The least helpful aspect of WM was the complete lack of ownership, transparency, and proactive support once a serious issue occurred. I felt completely abandoned throughout the process, despite the fact that I had done nothing wrong myself.

A major mistake was made by the vendor on my first payslip in April 2026. I immediately explained the seriousness of the issue, provided all required documents in advance, and repeatedly asked for clarification and support. However, I never received a proper explanation of what happened, no clear accountability, no realistic timeline, and not even a sincere apology.

What shocked me the most was the total absence of proactive problem-solving. Nobody tried to propose alternatives, temporary workarounds, escalation paths, or short-term solutions to mitigate the impact of the mistake. I was simply left waiting, with the prospect that the issue may only be resolved at the end of the year — and even then without any guarantee. This is completely unacceptable for a service that is supposed to support employees during critical administrative processes.

As a former employee myself, this experience was particularly disappointing. I honestly feel ashamed of the level of service delivered here, because I know situations like this could and should have been handled very differently.

2. What are the downsides?
The downsides are significant and affected nearly every aspect of the experience:

Lack of transparency: Communication was vague, cryptic, and often incomplete. I constantly had to chase updates myself.
Poor support and onboarding: Once problems appeared, support became reactive at best and absent at worst. I never felt guided or protected as a user.
No accountability: Even after a serious payroll error, there was no clear ownership of the issue and no visible effort to compensate for the impact caused.
Weak vendor coordination: WM and the vendor appeared disconnected, leaving me stuck in the middle trying to obtain information on my own.
Stress instead of support: Rather than simplifying the process, the experience created months of uncertainty, frustration, and unnecessary stress.
Low perceived value: Given the lack of effective assistance, I struggle to understand the actual value of the service.
No intelligent escalation or solutions: Despite the seriousness of the case, no alternative solutions, temporary measures, or escalation strategies were ever proposed.

Overall, the experience left me feeling ignored and unsupported during a situation that had serious financial and administrative consequences. The lack of empathy, accountability, and initiative was deeply disappointing.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In theory, WM is supposed to simplify and coordinate complex administrative and relocation-related processes between employees, vendors, and companies. The expected benefit is having a central point of contact that provides transparency, guidance, proactive communication, and support when issues arise.

Unfortunately, this was not my experience. Instead of reducing stress and uncertainty, the service added more complexity and frustration to an already sensitive situation. When a major mistake was made on my first payslip, I expected WM to actively coordinate with the vendor, provide explanations, propose temporary solutions, and take ownership of the issue. None of that happened.

Rather than feeling supported, I felt abandoned throughout the process. Communication was unclear, follow-ups were inconsistent, and I had to escalate and chase updates myself. The issue started in April 2026 and I am now being told it may not be resolved before the end of the year, without any guarantee. For a service that is supposed to facilitate these processes and protect employees from exactly this type of situation, this outcome is extremely disappointing.

 ### 2. Reliable platform with solid customer service.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michal L. | Senior Technical Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

The WorkMotion platform is easy to use.
Customer service is very reliable and fast. Every single case I have had in the last 3 years of using WorkMotion has been quickly solved.
The process of submitting days off, certificates, or any other documents is well-implemented, and I use it frequently enough to say it works well.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

The time tracking feature isn't clear. Lack of possibility to view records of past months limits the ability to correct any errors.
Every time I log in into Workmotion I have to request a one-time password. I remember in the past I had to do this only once a couple of weeks.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to WorkMotion, I can work for the company in one country while living in another EU country, where my employer doesn't have a branch. I can benefit from national regulations of the country I am living in and pay taxes there without being worried about tax policies in the country where my company is. WorkMotion makes working while traveling and living in different countries very easy.

 ### 3. Smooth Onboarding and Stress-Free Compliance for Remote Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksandr B. | Senior UI/UX Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

"Honestly, the onboarding was way smoother than I expected. Jenny from HR was super responsive and walked me through everything step by step, contract signing, documents etc. The platform UI is clean and easy to use. As someone working remotely for a US company while living in Germany, having WorkMotion handle all the compliance and legal stuff is a real relief. Everything from time tracking to sick leave requests lives in one place, which saves a lot of hassle.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Honestly, it’s hard to find any real downsides. The applied conversion rate is a bit higher than I expected, so when converting from USD to EUR I end up with slightly less than anticipated. That’s probably the only thing I’d mention.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Living in Germany while working remotely for a US-based company comes with a lot of legal complexity: work permits, German employment law, tax compliance and social insurance. WorkMotion takes care of all of that as the employer of record, so I don’t have to manage it myself, and my US employer doesn’t need to set up a German legal entity. So it just works.

 ### 4. Smooth experience for international remote work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelle A. | Associate Partner Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

What I like most about WorkMotion is that the platform is very easy to navigate day-to-day. Finding documents, contracts, payroll information, and requests is straightforward, and everything is centralized in one place, which makes the workflow more organized.
The onboarding process was clear and well-structured, with good communication throughout each step. Whenever I needed support, the team was responsive and helpful. The platform has also been reliable in my experience, with no major issues or delays when handling important processes.
Another thing I appreciate is how WorkMotion simplifies international employment and compliance processes, which would normally be much more complex to manage manually. Overall, it saves time and makes remote work with a global company much easier.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

One thing that could be improved is having more self-service features and clearer tracking for ongoing requests or processes. Sometimes certain topics are handled through email, and it could be more efficient if more of these processes were automated and managed directly within the platform, with clearer status updates and visibility.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion enabled me to continue working for the same company I was previously employed by in Spain, but now as an employee based in Brazil. They simplified the international hiring and compliance process, which made the transition much easier for both the company and me. Having the contracts, payments, and documentation managed through one platform also helps keep everything more organized.

 ### 5. Intuitive tracking with a clear data overview

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria P. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like that an overview of my data is shown on the right (salary, time off, etc.), and that it’s easy and intuitive to log my hours or request time off. I also appreciate the added AI tools, such as reading receipts and automatically filling in the expense information for me.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

A live chat feature would be really helpful. It would also be nice to receive a notification a day or two before a public holiday; I often forget, and a reminder would be appreciated. Other than that, everything feels very intuitive in my opinion.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workmotion is keeping track of all my information as an employee - contract, documents, payslips, expenses, time off. It's good to have everything centralized in just one place and not to have to log in into different platforms to access this information - not only for me, but for my employer as well.

 ### 6. Effortless Leave & Payroll Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MARK M. | Broadcast IT specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I use WorkMotion for work payroll and leaves, and it really helps me organize my leaves and manage my payroll efficiently. I like the leave application UI because it's easy to track back the leaves I applied and understand what they were for. The initial setup was very easy, and I appreciate how efficiently my personal information was handled. Plus, raising tickets is quick.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

I dislike having to apply for one and a half days off for a 12-hour schedule, as the system is set up for an 8-hour schedule which is considered a day off.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion helps me organize my leaves and manage my payroll efficiently. The leave application UI is easy, allowing me to track back the leaves applied and for what reason.

 ### 7. Effortlessly Manages Contracts with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathalie S. | Carbon Project Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like that WorkMotion is so user-friendly and simplified. It makes managing work contracts a breeze. The platform is intuitive for handling issues like schedule management, breaks, and check-in and checkout times. I also appreciate the swiftness of their responses via email. It makes me less worried about dealing with contractual and technical questions on national labor laws, and submitting invoices for reimbursement is so easy, especially with automatic form filling by reading the receipt. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward too.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

I have no negative points.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WorkMotion to manage my work contract. It makes handling contract and technical questions on labor laws easy, plus simplifies invoice submissions with automatic form filling, reducing worries.

 ### 8. Centralized HR and Admin Processes Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dušan M. | Sales and commissioning engineer at Charge&GO , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I use WorkMotion for daily check-ins, managing expenses, leave requests, and creating support tickets, and I love how it helps me centralize and streamline key administrative and HR processes. It ensures transparency and efficiency in tracking my working status, handling expenses, and managing leave. The simplicity in communication and having everything in one place really stands out to me, making things clear, structured, and easy to manage and understand. The initial setup was also relatively straightforward and easy to follow. I'm very satisfied with the platform and would definitely recommend it.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Usually everything is going smoothly, but some unspecific situations can be an issue. It happened 2 times that the salary was not paid the same day because the wrong bank account for foreign payments was used. Although everything was solved very fast in communication with me, it was accidental - both bank accounts are present. You cannot pay local valuta salary using the bank account for euro payments, and unfortunately, there is nothing I can suggest for improving that kind of issue.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WorkMotion to centralize and streamline key administrative and HR processes. It simplifies communication, manages leave requests, confirms my active working status, and submits reimbursements, all in one place, ensuring transparency and efficiency.

 ### 9. Streamlined HR Management, Needs Faster Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrin E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like WorkMotion because it is easy and organized, giving me quick access to important documents. These features save me time and make everyday administrative tasks much simpler. Instead of searching through emails or contacting HR for every document or update, I can easily find something in one place whenever I need it. The platform also provides good visibility into requests and processes, making things feel more transparent and organized.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

One area that could be improved is the speed and responsiveness of some support or administrative processes, especially when handling specific requests or updates. In some cases, clearer communication or more detailed status tracking could make the experience even smoother. Additionally, certain parts of the platform could feel a bit more intuitive or modern from a user experience perspective.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WorkMotion to centralize employment processes, like accessing payslips and managing vacation requests, in one place. It simplifies tasks, saves time, and boosts transparency by providing easy access to documents and good visibility into requests, without needing multiple systems.

 ### 10. Streamlined Expense and Leave Management, Simple and User-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tayyab Ali S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like that WorkMotion is easy to use and human friendly. It makes my work easy because I don't need to notify my manager about specific dates for time off. Submitting my expenses and handling leave requests is pretty easy as well. I just go to the platform, select the dates, and enter my expenses, whether for a business visit or a tech purchase. The setup is simple, which is one of the main reasons why we use it.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

A hiring process, maybe. For now, it's also good, but maybe, some more detail. It should be that, when a company onboard us, their contract should written something like, when do we get the increment? Because for now the job that I am hired for, I don't have the accurate information of when the increment is gonna be added on top of my salary.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion makes submitting work hours, managing expenses, and handling leave requests easy. I don't need to inform my manager directly about days off, and expense submissions are straightforward. Handling leaves is simple, and selecting dates and managing expenses is effortless.

 ### 11. WorkMotion - Tool for Global Hiring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2024

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

The platform handles international hiring and compliance seamlessly, taking the complexity out of managing global employment by automating legal and administrative processes. This level of support significantly reduces the risk of legal issues and simplifies expansion into new markets. Its user-friendly interface and clear workflow also make managing payroll and employee status straightforward, saving HR teams a significant amount of time

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

What I liked least about WorkMotion is the response time of their customer support. While the platform itself is efficient, it can sometimes take longer than expected to get issues resolved when reaching out for help. Faster response times and more proactive support would make the overall experience much smoother.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers a solid solution for managing international hiring and compliance, making it much easier to onboard remote employees across different countries. Its features are well-designed and effective, especially when it comes to simplifying payroll and legal processes. While there’s a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, once you get the hang of it, everything runs smoothly. The only area for improvement would be customer support, which could be more responsive. Despite that, it’s been a valuable tool for streamlining our global HR operations.

 ### 12. Responsive Support, But Lacks Permanent Contracts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalia K. | Senior Product Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like how quickly they respond to any requests or tickets I create. They can clarify legislation-related things and provide helpful explanations regarding employment, which is really fast. I get answers within one or two days. For example, whenever I have questions about how things work from a legal perspective, like being employed in Germany or about my fixed-term contract, they quickly provide replies and clarifications. Whenever there are issues with the product itself, they respond very quickly and clarify how to use their features better. Also, the initial setup was quite easy for me. I just received a link, filled in my profile, and everything started working.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

The only thing is that WorkMotion doesn't provide people in Germany with permanent contracts. And so I cannot be employed under a permanent contract, unfortunately, here. While some other competitors, other employer record companies, do provide permanent contracts.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use WorkMotion to employ people outside France, like in Germany and the UK. They respond quickly to my queries, especially on legislation and employment matters, often within a day or two. It's helpful for understanding how contracts, like fixed-term ones, can proceed.

 ### 13. Comprehensive HR Solution with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clémence C. | B2B Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I find WorkMotion very user friendly. It's great that I can easily download my travel expenses and check my payslips without any hassle. I also appreciate that their team is very reliable and super available through the support center, which gives me confidence in their assistance. The knowledge base is incredibly helpful for any HR-related inquiries or information about regulations from different countries. Having everything accessible in one platform, like my contract, documents, payslips, and travel expenses, is super valuable because it means I don't have to search through multiple contacts or wait long for answers. The initial setup was super easy; I just had to log in.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

At the beginning, it was difficult for me to find the support center because it was on a different window than the rest of the platform. It would be easier to include everything together.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion manages all HR-related tasks, including payslips and contract management. It's user-friendly and makes accessing contracts, documents, and travel expenses easy in one platform, saving me time by avoiding multiple contacts and long wait times.

 ### 14. WorkMotion Streamlines HR Tasks for a Fast, Intuitive Employee Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

What I like most about WorkMotion is that it lets me fully focus on my work without having to worry about technical or administrative HR tasks. The platform simplifies and streamlines employee-related processes, delivering a fast, intuitive, and consistent experience at every touchpoint. As a result, management becomes much more efficient, and it helps build a strong sense of trust and reliability for employees.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

One downside is that, at times, I have to duplicate my work when logging hours—both in WorkMotion and in the platform used by the company I work for. It would be much more efficient if there were better integration or synchronization between the two systems, so I wouldn’t have to repeat the same task twice.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Above all, WorkMotion is a reliable source of truth for me when I need to clarify questions about contracts, responsibilities, and employee rights. Having this information centralized and easy to access gives me greater confidence and transparency, and it also reduces uncertainty around HR and other administrative topics.

 ### 15. Efficient Onboarding, Needs Better Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Walter S. | Head of Global Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like that WorkMotion is simple, online-based, and highly automated. The transparency during contract management and the fast response time of the help desk during onboarding were great. I find it easy to check the history of my submissions, all available in one portal, which is better than my experience with internal HR departments. The initial setup was quite easy with an efficient and responsive helpdesk.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

I see my submitted working hours but I do not get a summary report. To explain, if I enter that I have worked 9 hours on Monday, 7 hours on Tuesday, etc. I have to manually add the working hours to understand if I have worked overtime or not enough hours in any given month. The log-in process is annoying. It is not User/Password based but I have to request a sign-in code or sign-in email. Our email has Spam filters and I typically have to wait 3-5 minutes to receive the sign-in code.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion handles payroll and taxes for my non-Austrian employer, and I like having my submissions all in one portal, making it better than internal HR.

 ### 16. Efficient Remote Work Support with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriela P. | Summer Internship, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I appreciate WorkMotion's continuous support, which is there when I have questions or problems to solve. The platform is easy to access, making it convenient to use. It also allows me to work remotely from Portugal while managing all the bureaucracy related to contracts, payments, and time off easily. Additionally, the help center effectively solves problems and provides information quickly.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Although the website is quite accessible, I've experienced some bugs in the past, like issues with the balance on time off. Also, when I started using it, there seemed to be a lack of knowledge or misunderstandings regarding Portuguese law. This has improved over time and I haven't had issues for a long time. I also had troubles initially understanding payslips and some specifics of how salary payments were being processed.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion allows me to work remotely from Portugal while being employed by a company in France. It helps with bureaucracy like contracts and payments, and its help center resolves issues quickly.

 ### 17. User-Friendly and Efficient, but Improvement Needed on Expense Deadlines

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krystyna K. | Asystent ds. marketingu, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like that WorkMotion is very user-friendly and intuitive. I didn't need any onboarding and could easily navigate through the platform from day one. The support is really helpful as well. I just don't need to spend too much time using it because it's very simple to do whatever I want. I don't have to overthink anything because it's very simple.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

So the only thing that comes to my mind are the deadlines for submitting travel expenses. So I need to submit all the travel expenses by tenth of given month, and then I'm being reimbursed with my next salary. So let's say if I bear a cost on eleventh, of a given month and I submit it to the platform on eleventh, I will be paid one and a half months later. That's quite tough.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WorkMotion to submit my working hours, travel expenses, and plan holidays. It's helpful for coordinating with my company, making travel expense reimbursement easy, and scheduling vacations.

 ### 18. Straightforward Platform with Responsive Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alix H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I use WorkMotion for requesting holidays and handling my expenses, and I find that it makes everything quite straightforward. The WorkMotion website is quite clear, and I noticed improved processes in recent years, particularly for notifying them if I'm traveling for work or leaving the country. I'm very grateful that WorkMotion allows me to work for my company based in another country. When I put a ticket in for support or have a question, I find that they're really responsive.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

When I was first onboarding with WorkMotion and PrecisionPGC, it was very, very confusing. It wasn't clear who to go to for specific needs. I've also felt like I've had to educate them about employment standards and laws in Canada, which has been kind of frustrating. I wish you had an app for submitting expenses - I find it is quite time intensive to use the browser.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find WorkMotion makes everything quite straightforward with a clear platform, improving my processes for notifying when I'm traveling for work or leaving the country.

 ### 19. Fast, Secure, and Supportive Platform That Makes Processes Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernanda Maria Souza S. | Estagiária de arquitetura, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I think the main characteristic I would refer to WorkMotion is getting solutions and being open to receive our questions. When we were uncertain about a process or wanted to have some more specific information, they were with us through all the process. It is an easy plataform to use, it loads fast and without problem. It is also secure, always requesting the verification code. Every end of the week the AI send us an report of the time tracking we have to provide.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

It could be improved that the vacation days, sometimes there are misconfigurations between WorkMotion and my employer, so this is something they could improve so they don't bother me about that. So that they are actually having all my vacation days from the employer direct. Directly or somehow because I get emails when, my vacation days aren't correct, and they are the framework, but they are correct in the work in the employer ones.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion handles my employment paperwork quickly, so I don't have to spend time on it, making things faster and simplifying employment in Romania.

 ### 21. Extremely User-Friendly with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiri K. | Senior Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I really find WorkMotion very easy to work with and super flexible. The modern UI is something I appreciate a lot. The talent portal stands out to me; it's very well-structured and has everything I need as an employee in one place, like all the documents and contracts. I don't have to wade through a complicated UI, which is great. It's very optimized, and all the workflows I need are really thought out and functional, so I don't spend a lot of time interacting with the portal. The initial setup and onboarding experience with WorkMotion were also super smooth and very easy.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

nothing I can think of

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion enables working for companies without a local office, providing a flexible and modern UI. The talent portal is well-structured, offering easy access to all necessary documents and workflows, efficiently managing tasks like booking vacations or downloading payslips.

 ### 22. Simplifies HR Tasks, But Needs a Mobile App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I appreciate how WorkMotion ensures faster communication and reliable payroll execution. The customer support is another aspect I like, as well as the fact that employee data stays within a single network, which simplifies compliance with strict data protection like GDPR. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy and straightforward. I also find that WorkMotion helps solve the complexity of hiring and onboarding in our company.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

The absence of a dedicated iOS or Android app makes it inconvenient to quickly request time off while away from the computer. I suggest introducing a native mobile app for employees to easily track bank holidays and view payslips on the go.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WorkMotion for payroll, leave applications, and HR communications. It simplifies hiring and onboarding, ensures faster communication, reliable payroll execution, and supports compliance with GDPR by keeping employee data in a single network.

 ### 23. Excellent Assistance and Timely Payments, But Slow Refund

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ciprian C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like that WorkMotion works well and that payments are punctual. I find the support really excellent, which helps me organize my life better. WorkMotion managed to transfer my severance pay from the company destination to the pension fund, an operation that is not simple. Furthermore, the initial setup was very simple.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

The reimbursement of expenses is too slow, it should always be the month following the request. It takes too long, I have to make the submission by the 2nd of the month and I will get it back the following month, so it usually takes about 2 months to get a reimbursement, and if the expense is large, as often happens, then it's stressful not to have that money for 2 months.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion allows me to work from a different country than that of my company.

 ### 24. Effortless HR Management with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It's also great that the customer service is just an email away. I also appreciate how I can access WorkMotion from everywhere I am. The setup was extremely easy, and I find its clarity to be a standout feature.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Nothing

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WorkMotion to manage my holidays and as HR. It allows me to work from a country where my company doesn't have an office.

 ### 25. Flawless, fast support/onboarding and high flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

The support from the workmotion team is flawless. The onboarding process as well as the ticket support is incredibly fast and always solves problems to my full satisfaction, even though I had a few special requests regarding payroll, contract amendments, tax deductions and so on.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

For the services they provide, they do charge a rather large monthly compensation.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was employed in a company in Germany when I moves to the UK for family reasons. Since I really enjoyed my German employer, I wanted to keep working for them, however since they are only active on a national scale, they had to be operations in the UK and no expertise on how to employ someone living in the UK. That's where workmotion bridged this gap by providing the employer of record service.

 ### 26. Workmotion Makes Global Hiring Easy with Excellent Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roland G. | Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

The most helpful in workmotion is possibility to provide employment possibilities for talents at different countries. I really like your employess and level of your customer service

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

It is difficult to imagine. It is really helpful that you are using AI tools at your platform. Thanks for management, that you organized for me. I just have one thing to ask - Can you please control your local partners more carefully, because often they make reimbursement mistakes

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is employment possibilities at different countries. Without workmotion i cannot handle my employment with TecAlliance

 ### 27. Automatic Management and Simplicity with WorkMotion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I like the simplicity of using WorkMotion. The management of hours is automatic, which means I don't have to do anything because WorkMotion does it for me. Everything works well and so far I haven't had any problems. The initial setup process was completely automatic, so I didn't have to do anything.

 ### 28. Reliable platform for employing international workers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

In general, I just focus on my work, and all the legal parts are covered.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

It would be helpful to have more information on special edge cases, such as business trips, along with clearer guidance on how these situations show up in payroll. For instance, in the portal I can’t find a per-day breakdown of the meal allowance, while on my payroll I only see the final total for the month.

I also sometimes miss having support in my native language (Slovak). I often have to translate my questions or legislative topics into English, and then they need to be translated again for the Slovak accountant back into Slovak. That extra back-and-forth doesn’t feel ideal, although I assume this is a limitation with other platforms as well.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Legal and employment-related stuff.

 ### 29. Simple, Efficient and Reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago S. | Key Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

It was reassuring to have a representative from WorkMotion contact me directly as soon as the onboarding process started. My contact was Maria, and she made it very easy for me to ask questions and get the information I needed to complete the process.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

I had no issues with WorkMotion. All exceptions were met and exceeded.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a German organisation, but I am based in Australia. WorkMotion is instrumental in facilitating the employment requirements for my position based on my location. This is a seamless solution for our requirement.

 ### 30. WorkMotion Makes Global Hiring and Compliance Feel Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

What stands out most about WorkMotion is that they’re solving a real global problem, rather than building yet another generic HR tool. Their focus on helping companies hire talent internationally—while taking care of compliance, payroll, and the surrounding legal complexity—makes the product feel genuinely meaningful and technically challenging.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

One thing I’ve noticed from employee feedback is that, as a fast-growing company, WorkMotion still seems to face some scaling challenges—especially around internal communication and overall process maturity. That said, this also feels fairly common among high-growth international startups.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally, the benefit is straightforward: I can work for an international company and reliably receive my salary, benefits, and employment contract in a compliant way, without the company needing to set up a local entity in my country.

 ### 31. WorkMotion: Easy Global Hiring with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego M. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I appreciate WorkMotion because it allows me to be hired by a company outside of my country. The ability to hire talent without dealing with country restrictions is a huge plus. It's very easy to use, and the support team is very responsive and easy to get in touch with when needed. Submitting expenses is very easy, and I like that the team always notifies me via email when there are changes in legislation related to taxes or other topics. It's a great choice overall.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Sometimes the reimbursements of expenses take longer than expected.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion lets me be hired by companies outside my country, overcoming country restrictions. It's easy to use and submitting expenses is simple. Their team provides support and keeps me updated on legislation changes.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion helped me working for a German company while still living in my home country Italy.

 ### 34. Effortless Pre-Filled Timesheets and Prompt Ticket Responses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter B. | Senior Cost and Integration Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

The time sheet recording interface is effortless as it's all pre-filled in. Tickets get prompt responses.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

They support many countries, which is great for their clients (I am talent, not a client). This means they lack country-specific expertise and experience and they don't offer some perks that in my country are customary for my field and role.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows my employer to employ talent in countries where they're otherwise no set up to do so. This benefits me as the employee.

 ### 35. Streamlined International Employment, Minimal Benefits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Audric G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I love that WorkMotion gives people like me the possibility to work legally in a different country. It allowed me to work legally in Spain while my company is based in the UK. WorkMotion made it all possible by contracting me as a legal Spanish employee. I find the initial setup of WorkMotion to be easy, and I use it to consult my payslips and log my working hours.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Everything works really well apart from not having any benefits as an employee despite asking for it for over 3 years. I imagine they are many talents and things could be implemented.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion contracts me and processes my payroll, enabling me to work legally in Spain for a UK company.

 ### 36. Seamless EoR Experience with Great Support

I appreciate that WorkMotion lets me work in Berlin for a UK-based company without having to handle the contractual and legal complexity. The best thing is that I rarely have to think about it, it just does its job. I have found their support to be very responsive. The initial setup was easy for me as the employee, the web app guided me through the process, and any other issues were resolved directly with support.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

I find the web app to be a little clunky, the way you have to get an email link every time you want to sign in isn't ideal

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion lets me work in Berlin for a UK-based company without handling contractual and legal complexity.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

I don't like that when you submit your working hours, at the end of the month if you forgot to submit it for 30th April for example, on 01 May the previous day/week disappears.

WorkMotion handles payslips, employment, tracking working hours, vacation requests, and expenses effectively. It provides fast reply time, is reliable with payments, issues payslips efficiently, and is easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

WorkMotion makes international hiring much easier. The platform is intuitive and the onboarding process is well structured, which saves a lot of time on the HR side. What stands out in particular is the responsiveness and support of the team. Whenever questions come up, they are handled quickly and in a very solution oriented way. Overall it removes a lot of complexity from cross border employment.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Overall the experience has been very positive. If anything, some processes could be a bit faster or more transparent in terms of status updates during certain steps. However, the support team is always available and helps clarify open questions quickly, so this has not been a major issue for us.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion enables us to hire employees in countries where we do not have a legal entity. Without a solution like this, international hiring would be significantly more complex and time consuming. I use WorkMotion for vacations, schedules, and HR matters, resolving questions about leave and contractual details. It is quick to respond, intuitive to use, and has friendly support, which makes it very practical.
