# What are the key features and capabilities of UKG Marketplace solutions that teams should evaluate to identify the best fit for their organisation?

I'm trying to pin down the key features and capabilities teams should evaluate in UKG Marketplace solutions to find the best fit for their organisation. My working criteria, with an example for each:

Integration depth. Is it a real UKG connector or just a login page? For instance, Joynd exists purely to wire HR vendors together.

Compliance paperwork. Published audits beat badges. NetSuite lists its SOC and ISO audits publicly, which shortens security review.

Review evidence. Salary.com has real volume behind its G2 rating. Plenty of names in this category have one review or none, which is a data point in itself.

Scope fit. Single-job tools versus platforms. A 5.0 on a handful of reviews is a different signal than a 4.3 on two thousand.

Which of these criteria actually predicts a good fit a year in, and which one is evaluation theater? And what would you add that I've missed?

Ask the vendor explicitly: which past UKG versions have required you to change code or configurations when the UKG platform updated? That history tells you whether the integration was designed for stability or whether maintenance becomes an ongoing cost of ownership.

I'd add ongoing maintenance ownership to that list, specifically who is responsible for fixing the integration when UKG or the connected app pushes an update, since that tends to matter more a year in than anything visible during the initial evaluation.

### Comment 3

Integration depth would predict long-term fit best for me. A connector that handles field mappings, updates, errors, and sync timing reliably will matter every day after implementation. I’d add ongoing maintenance burden as another criterion: who owns the integration when UKG or the connected app changes, and how much work falls back on the internal HRIS team?

### Comment 4

Your criteria are a strong starting point. I'd add two that often matter just as much over time: the quality of ongoing vendor support and how upgrades are handled, since both have a bigger impact on long-term success than feature checklists alone. Review volume is useful context, but it shouldn't outweigh fit for your specific workflows.
