## Workast Reviews
  ### 1. Charged despite never using product

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Workast?**

It's a lightweight tool, and plays nicely with Slack vs. most other tools.

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

We did not use Workast on the paid plan, but were told that there are no refunds despite this - charging customers for a product they don't use tells you all you need to know about a company!

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workast didn't work for us, which is why we chose not to use it - but were charged anyway and were told they will not refund us for a product we didn't use!

  ### 2. Honored to be a Workast partner.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke C. | Partnerships Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Workast?**

It has been such a pleasure to be working with Workast! They are very professional and easy to talk to. They are also very willing to hear your feedback and address it as soon as they can. I can't wait to collaborate with them more in the future!

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

Workast's team is extremely professional, and they are one of the best partners I have ever worked with. I can't think of anything to dislike right now. Grateful for this partnership.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greater operational efficiency across the team. And I believe that if we can get our hands on their stuff quickly, we can get things done much more swiftly.

  ### 3. Cool little app for creating and assigning tasks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayte M. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Workast?**

I can create tasks for attorneys in Slack to remind them to review documents, follow up with clients, etc., and they can do the same for me.

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

I don't really dislike anything so far, but I would maybe add some more field options in the "create a task" section to further customize tasks.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm keeping up with tasks that need to be completed through Slack, and sending auto-reminders to other team members to complete tasks.

  ### 4. Workast your Trello with Steroids

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramón C. | Co-founder and CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Workast?**

Workast, already has implemented several features that are paid in Trello plus it can be integrated with slack and zapier making it super easy to automate task assignation for startups or companies that have teams were it's necessary to distribute task among the team.

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

It still has some bugs, one of them if you remove a team member and then you want to add it again to the same team then it doesn't let you or it seems that the member has been deleted from workast. Later I had the opportunity to talk with Workast people and they solved the issue from their side so it was annoying at the time but it also seems they have been working on this kind of issues when you report it.

**Recommendations to others considering Workast:**

-I will use workast if I want to automate task assignment across teams, if I also use slack because is still super connected and if I want more advanced features than trello but not necessary need something like attlasian tools.
-Workast is a tool that can save you time, consider how much time do you or your team spend by assigning manually tasks to other members
-Also I think Workast is just great for Startups and super easy to implement so it let you concentrate in your business tasks not side work.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are teams or areas in our Company like customer service who have to reply playstore/appstore reviews and social media mentions specifically. For us is important to automatically assign this task to different team members and have an automatic tracking of the progress of each team member. And we did it with workast. Because you already can create an space with members, autoassign task to them, later Workast will show them how many task are left for every team member and it will be reporting you everyday if you want or every week directly to you email inbox so you easily follow up those team members who are struggling. For the autoasigment we use first a zapier integration from the playstore/appstore to slack and from slack to workast. For social media integration we use the same a zapier integration with twitter & our facebook page to slack and from slack to Workast and works just fine.

There is another feature we really like about Workast, it already has implemented a due date that auto renew every month or that creates the same task everymonth. This feature in Trello is an addon and it cost but in Workast with a really small team is free. This feature help us for task that has to repeat every month like manual payment collections for some customers so it really helps you a lot.

  ### 5. Seamless integration with Slack made it easy choice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sudhir S. | Digital Marketing Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Workast?**

Easy integration with our business communication app Slack makes Workast versatile and efficient project management, team collaboration, and productivity software.

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

There is a login and add to slack button on the landing page of this app, which might confuse new users looking for signup and don't have knowledge about Slack.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were eagerly looking for a better project management tool that would integrate perfectly with our team communication app Slack to drive communication and project management side my side. Now, using Workast with Slack has made it possible.

  ### 6. Perfect application when paired with Slack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Workast?**

I love the integration that I have when working in Workast and being able to create the proper channels/spaces in Slack to further discuss the tasks needing to be solved.

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

It's difficult to dislike anything because Workast does a really good job with different app integrations, as well as having enough views and customizations of tasks to be well prepared in what is due and the amount of tasks within a task that need to be completed.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've had communication problems on critical work items that were due back when we were using a different platform, and because we had communications on a different platform, it was a struggle to keep opening all these different applications. With Workast, we can not only work and see clearly what needs to be done by a given time frame, it pairs perfectly with Slack, enabling us to be far more productive than ever before.

  ### 7. Great Slack companion

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Smaart H. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Workast?**

When you have a channel which is separated by a project, such as #new-website, all the stakeholders of the project can easily create a task of what needs to be done in the channel. Users do not need to be in the same department or team. You can also add clients if they want complete transparency on the project

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

Wish it would integrate with many more 3rd party applications

**Recommendations to others considering Workast:**

If your conversations are limited to Slack, this is a great tool!

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help to manage tasks and responsibilities within my team in Slack so as not to get lost in the conversation

  ### 8. To-Do helps organize the chaos!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan P. | COO & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Workast?**

To-do helps to keep all the top priorities organized and trackable in a manageable way! Increasing productivity and ensuring that tasks aren’t missed is the best part!

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

To-do has you self-dive in at implementation, while I was able to figure it out, it took a few tries on some items. A guided intro would be helpful!

**Recommendations to others considering Workast:**

Go for it! This product is a productivity crusher and will help any business go from 0 to 100 in task management. Make sure your user base is willing to adopt a new method, as that was the biggest hold back from our team at roll out.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to effectively work through our to-do list as a team and all be on the same page has helped our organization run more smoothly!

  ### 9. Great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Workast?**

I love the Slack integration and the ease of use of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

Honestly, there isn't much I have to say negatively.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More efficient operational management across the board. Stuff gets done much easier.

  ### 10. To-Do: Helps me remember what I need To-Do!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan N. | Clinical Study Coordinator, Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Workast?**

The overall task-navigation system is convenient to work with. I enjoy the fact that I can make task & subtask operations. This helps me narrow the granularity of specific jobs that need additional detail.

**What do you dislike about Workast?**

Adding details to specific tasks seems to take too much time/clicking. I wish their was a more intuitive way of adding additional details to tasks (eg. People involved, due dates, descriptions, etc.) without clicking through the sometimes-slow-to-load environment.

**Recommendations to others considering Workast:**

If you have many concurrent tasks that require a high degree of coordination and management, feel free to give To-Do a shot. There are plenty of other task management systems, however from a check-list type of perspective, I feel that To-Do is very helpful. My one reservation will be that it becomes burdensome to add high complexity details to a high number of tasks. There isn't really a streamlined method of this, yet.

**What problems is Workast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't had any problems, aside from the usual learning curve. Once I became familiar with the work flow idea and UI/UX, there was little more work to be done. One of my favorite benefits of To-Do is its integration with Slack and Windows 10. When a task is completed on one platform, I am able to receive notification from my other platforms that a task has been changed/completed/deleted/modified. It helps staying on track with granular tasks.
