I've been using Weld for over 18 months and consistently recommend it to all my clients. As a data engineer, what stands out most is the ability to code transformations directly rather than being limited by a drag-and-drop interface. This makes Weld a serious tool for technical users who prefer flexibility and control over their data workflows.
Weld is incredibly reliable — once it's set up, it just works. I trust it to run consistently and without issue. On top of that, the pricing is excellent, especially compared to some of the bigger players in the space that charge a premium for features I don’t need.
If you're technical and value performance, transparency, and affordability, Weld is a no-brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there’s not much I dislike. If I had to nitpick, the UI isn’t as polished as some of the more mainstream tools — but that’s a trade-off I’m happy to make for the flexibility and performance Weld offers. It’s clearly built for technical users, so this won’t be an issue if you're comfortable with code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
