What I like most is how WebCamXP is free and how small and lightweight it is. After gaining familiarity with it, it is really simple to learn how to add new cameras and sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was recommended to use webcamXP for my company for the security of the equipment and tools for converting my webcam into a security camera. Good integration with all the cameras that I have deployed. From the free version to the paid versions, all of them provide the necessary features for their target audience. The biggest downside to the app is the lack of updates to the app. For example, I recently changed my computer to macOS, but I needed to keep one Windows computer around to run webcamXP because it's only supported on Windows. Furthermore, the interface of the app is really dated. It would be great to solve all these and modernise the app with newer technologies and a refreshing design.
