## About WalkMe
WalkMe, an SAP company, is the critical layer that makes enterprise AI work. Copilots and AI agents are powerful, but incomplete. Built on over a decade of experience in enterprise deployments, WalkMe gives AI the real-time context, cross-application reach, and workflow execution it needs to deliver results. WalkMe helps organizations adapt faster, make better decisions, and build a workforce that learns continuously. Trusted by global leaders including IBM, Nestlé, ThermoFisher Scientific, and the U.S. federal government, WalkMe turns AI investments into business outcomes. Visit www.walkme.com.

Applications are built with the best of intentions but they're built by humans. Therefore hole in the boat exist. WalkMe allows us to patch those holes instantly.

  ### 9. Think Training and Discover the Power of Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

WalkMe keeps evolving. I've been using the tool for over 5 years and the things that have been limitations have been removed or improved upon. The variations that you can combine with all of the build options are truly endless. The analytics is enormous and sometimes hilarious on what you learn about your users.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

I know this is improving, but some of the WalkMe folks have an arrogance that is off-putting. Granted, I have seen a huge improvement with recent interactions. But that is what I've disliked the most over the years.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily we focus on supporting the education and Support teams. However, when a client asks for something, the 20 minutes it takes us to provide a solution (that includes testing - sometimes) is such a money saver vs. using our developers' time.

  ### 10. Walkme is a great tool that has consistently added value to our company.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Walkme is a great tool. It is fun and super easy to use. It is always really neat to demo a Walkme asset and see the faces of the audience light up and their ideas of how Walkme can solve their business problems pop into their heads.

I love the Walkme editor and find it super intuitive

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

I wish new features were documented and communicated better. I usually find new features when I am in the editor.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walkme primarily solves our issue of not having budget to train and onboard staff to several of our business platforms.

  ### 11. WalkMe has helped UVA improve our Workday end user experience drastically over our previous approach

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex J. | Workday Trainer and WalkMe Builder at UVA, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

I love the editor and building unique solutions; WalkMe DAP has no limits; only builder creativity can limit design.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

I long for WalkMe to be able to be injected into any website code, such as Workday, as opposed to extension simply due to deployment of an extension.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

WalkMe is a great platform to help integrate your knowledge base and/or solutions with your system/website of interest. There is no doubt in the data we see that users engage with integrated guidance significantly more than with guidance that is accessed outside of the system/website.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are helping improve the adoption of our Workday platform at UVA; improving manager ability to self-serve their HR needs.

  ### 12. Great tool that improves the UX of our web applications. Intuitive and easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

You do not need a comprehensive tech background to use WalkMe. I also like that you can build a solution and deploy it within the same day.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

It would be great if the ActionBot had NLP and could support translations.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navigation issues, users relying on a helpdesk for answers, product limitations where an OOTB solution owuld be costly and more time-consuming

  ### 13. WalkMe has changed the way we do business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruth G. | Advisory Board Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

We use WalkMe to accomplish lots of things: in-app communication to clients (emergency banners, marketing campaigns, etc.), self-help, launching our user guide on different pages, etc.

I like their usability, support, transparency (bugs, releases, etc.)

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

We are a single-page application, so we can't use all of the WalkMe tools. Most of our content needs an added layer of jquery segmentation - so you can't train just anyone to get the job done.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

Definitely ask the right questions about your infrastructure and how you will need to build out content.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding... We have onboarding tasks that show up for users when they log into the software.
In-App Communications... We are still building out our home-grown inbox, so we use shoutouts to segment communications after people log into the software.
Support... We give people access to self-help which translates to fewer support calls.

  ### 14. Really awesome, flexible tool that helps give users inline help

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

There has never been an issue that Walk Me couldn't solve for us. Our code is complicated and not always uniform, but Walk Me support has always been able to help us find a solution. Using the tool as an administrator is also intuitive, and using Smart Tip functionality is especially quick and easy. We have implemented Walk Me features for all system users, and have received really good feedback on both the smart tips and walk throughs. Our CSM provides us with highly personalized attention, and we get lightning-quick responses to any cases we open through Walk Me support.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Creating walk throughs for complicated system processes is pretty difficult, but the product is probably better suited to simpler processes. The fewer steps the better.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

The company's customer service is phenomenal. There is a bit of a learning curve when you first begin using the product, but they have an excellent collection of training, and I became a fluent user in 2-3 months. You also get very personalized attention from your CSM.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to reduce our support case submission volume. Our help team is very large and is a major expense for the company, so anything we can do to reduce support tickets helps ease the burden of that cost. Using Walk Me smart tips allows us to put information right next to confusing features that often trigger support case submissions.

**Official Response from Brittany Rolfe Hillard:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on your WalkMe experience! Glad to hear that our dedicated customer success team and diligent support team are always able to help you scale your support organization while providing an excellent customer experience.

  ### 15. Happy to use WalkMe to help our customers and making their users happy.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The options for configuring the solutions

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

It's not always easy to use and training is therefor essential

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are still at the beginning of the implementation but what we see for so far is more and clear guidance in our application. We see also that the direct communication through Launcher is working great.

  ### 16. Impressed with the functionality and easy to build solutions.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

time saving - no need to spend time with users on individual guidance - we direct them to specific walkme items instead of explaining.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Lack of auto-notifications on broken SWT steps.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves us time in user guidance an minimizes training efforts as well as supports immediate communication regarding ad hoc system changes.

  ### 17. Disappointed Decision Maker (updated)

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John-Paul S. | VP of Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The idea of WalkMe was exceptional. The delivery and results were disappointing. We struggled to get the data we need between two systems our mobile and web portal. WalkMe required the need for independent platforms which couldn't be consolidated into a clean user journey between the systems.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

The technical feasibility of the solution and the lack of consideration in the cancellation process are two things that drove me away from the solution.

The account team ignored requests to get the issues resolved and then stopped all communications.

11/19 update: Our cancellation has since been processed and we've been able to close this chapter. It looks like WalkMe is investing in better ways to make these situations more customer-friendly and my experience suggests that this will be the case based on my most recent interactions.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at this point.

We never actually were able to gain any significant benefit due to the lack of mobile and web integration. It created a blindspot in the user journey that we thought it would solve.

  ### 18. Excellent Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristy M. | T, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

This saves me sooooo much time as a trainer to be able to send people through the smart walk throughs.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

I can't think of anything I dislike! I LOVE the tool!

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Smart Walk Throughs allow our users to quickly learn complex processes. It has lead to data accuracy and time savings.

  ### 19. WalkMe is the future

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David N. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Its easy-to-understand interface is able to assist end-users with any process, truly making it the top digital adoption software.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

WalkMe is missing some features involving more complex solution-building without having to turn on back-end functionalities.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A repeated problem that I've solved from multiple clients includes a reduction in support tickets and simplifying onboarding processes.

  ### 20. The best guidance tool in the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The tool makes it easy for users to navigate and perform tasks. It also provides analytics on utilization and has the potential to be used as a continuous improvement tool.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

I think there's opportunities for further customization, but this doesn't affect its functionality

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WalkMe makes it easy for us to communicate actions to a broader audience. Beyond communication, it provides instructions and guidance on tasks to be done for a process to be completed.

  ### 21. Editor superiority and Best Analytics in the Digital Adoption Space

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The Editor is better than any other DAP. Also, the Analytics don't just report back on content I built, but on my technology usage. Insights is superior. Also, the DeepUI does work and finds changes in the HTML and makes changes to Walk-thrus rather than me getting a report from Whatfix that shows if a Flow may be broken or not.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Not much, really. Building with jQuery is not the easiest, but when I get into a rhythm is actually pretty easy. I don't need to use jQuery that often, by the way.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Adoption, Automation, Announcements, Error-handling

  ### 22. the training of the software is quite good and comprehensive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Flexibility and easy to use, using jquery and multiple methods of targeting is very powerful

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

action bot functionality and NLP capability is very lacking

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flexibile alerts and notification to our users.

  ### 23. WalkMe Positive Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The in app guidance and edit-ability of SmartTips

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Clickjack settings have to be turned off

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upskilling users on a new platform

  ### 24. Where has WalkMe been all my life?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian M. | Senior Business Operations Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The most valuable thing WalkMe provides is time. WalkMe provides the user with on-screen guidance to get them to where they need to be without weighing down support teams on training for every function. The automated steps can remove multiple clicks and quickly sends the user to what they need to see. The ability to view user activity and search terms allows mapping new build requirements properly.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

As powerful as funnels could measure metrics, a website needs to be very specific to the steps. If a screen has more than one purpose, this inflates numbers, and your reporting is inaccurate. With a bit more ability to create precision in the process, funnels would be more valuable.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rolling out new systems is challenging enough, but with the help of WalkMe, we are reducing the number of support calls required with a system launch. We are giving our partner community the ability to train themselves and move on a new platform with minimal guidance. We are taking complicated processes and are simplifying or automating steps to make the partner experience a positive one. We are using partner activity and search terms to find sticking points to continue to deliver new walk-thru, smarttips, etc.

  ### 25. I had an amazing time at WalkMe Elevate!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob W. | WalkMe Builder, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Seeing the new products coming out was my favorite thing. It was also great to see and connect with all the other DAP professionals who are just as excited about WalkMe as I am.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

The only thing that could have made this experience better was to be there in person!

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a ton of problems, from compliance to addressing training needs! We have also been using WalkMe to reduce the amount of classroom training that we would have required if we didn't use the fantastic tools WalkMe has to offer.

As the WalkMe team, we had already known about the benefits of this tool. However, more and more of our company realize the significant impact we can have on day-to-day associate's production by simply adding a few Launchers or SmartTips at the point of need. It's inspired more to reach out and request WalkMe content on their platforms to increase productivity and support within their everyday applications.

  ### 26. WalkMe at LinkedIn Trust and Safety

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Smruti S. | eLearning Training Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

WalkMe's guided workflows: Smart WalkThroughs, SmartTips and Launcher

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

There is no feature to create tests and assessments, instead, we need to use surveys for it. Hoping to see a test option as well.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistency and scaling

  ### 27. System implementations: helping improve the solution as well as communicate directly to end users.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

- Collaborative team
- Bot-based tech
- Targeted comms
- In-system support

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

- Not enough canned demos showcasing the capability
- Challenge to structure with complex environments / sign-in structures

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Issues with an incomplete system / requirements (e.g., all caps) that aren't baked into the actual solution
- Communicating with specific users (we need to work more on building that out by system role)

  ### 28. The solution to your problems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Phenomenal product with excellent support
The user community alone is worth the price

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Not enough free pie distributed to users.
I have no dislikes. The product fulfills all of our needs.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

WalkMe is a fully-featured product with great support behind it.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WalkMe reduces support and training issues. Users no longer come to the development team, circumventing our helpdesk as the answers are within the environment they are using.

  ### 29. WalkMe Review | One of the best Digital Adoption platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adnan A. | SME Optimization, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

I like the range of options WalkMe offers for its clients. These include CRM, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc., powerful tools for multiple applications. I have been using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce for some time, showing excellent results.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

The products and solutions are a bit pricey so small and medium enterprises find it hard to purchase them. However, for bigger companies like mine, Ericsson, the price of the sfotware does not matter.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

Best software in the market for all your digital needs.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using different offerings from WalkMe, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and CRM. All of them have contributed a lot towards Ericsson sales and brought significant revenue.

  ### 30. The tool is not very intuitive and has an countless challenges using and technical difficulties.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Regina P. | C, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

With WalkMe we can make our platform more user friendly.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

It took some time to get the hang of the WalkMe editor. We have followed an e-learning to get started.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping users to understand how our platform works.

  ### 32. Great interaction with websites

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

just in time training or feedback on tools; the basics are easy to learn and implement

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

does not take much to go further than the basics, and then WalkMe becomes less inutitive and I don't think Help is easily used from the tool

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

feature adoption is a great use of WalkMe- either new features of a tool. or under-utilized features. WalkMe has helped us reduce NIGO tickets to our help center.

  ### 33. WalkMe

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The support team are prompt at responding to your issues, with helpful advice that works.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

There are glitches sometimes, which then end-users then complain about.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are trying to allow the WalkMe menu to be moveable around the screen, so it should not block any end-users screen, as they will have the ability to move this.

  ### 34. WalkMe Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

They were easy to work with, familiar with our internal processes already, always available, timely response to our questions or concerns.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

None. There was nothing to dislike about our interaction(s) with WalkMe

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navigation issues in our goals and performance management system

  ### 35. Great and responsive team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Responsible team that takes time to co-plan with client and deliver on schedule.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Takes time to understand every feature and how to use Walkme adoption platform.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving our users' ability to navigate our website.

  ### 36. WalkMe is the FUN part of my job!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

I am a very analytical and straightforward person and am very precise in everything I do, which is why I relate to WalkMe so easily. WalkMe is very user-friendly and easy to learn! There are so many different features of WalkMe to provide a customizable and creative experience for all of our users. I love creating smart walk thrus and building flow charts, which is the most fun part of my day-to-day tasks!

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

While I like having the Smart Tip tools, they do not always display in our environment, even though the rules are met. It is possible that I am missing a step in creating the Smart Tips before publishing; however, they appear to be unreliable to me and I tend to avoid Smart Tips if there is an alternative.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

Do it! WalkMe makes my job enjoyable and provides an easy way to develop training and other materials for all of our users!

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I worked on-site in property management for five years before beginning my work with WalkMe. I now use WalkMe to build our virtual training for the on-site property management teams to show them how best to navigate their software. It provides hands-on training to the user, which is a much better experience than support calls or any training manuals. WalkMe also allows our users to learn in real-time, so there is no regiment or schedule for completing their training.

  ### 37. Great product and support had always been amazing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Ease of use and the customer service is excellent

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Nothing that I can think of right now that I dislike

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Onboarding and new feature adoption

  ### 38. An amazing tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The way it is easy to create simple solutions for our customers!

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

That the customers need to adapt to WalkMe, that is kind of difficult. But when they do, it's an amazing experience for them.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating training exercises, leaving behind the creation of videos and training sheets and doing everything on WalkMe

  ### 39. Easy to Learn and Valuable to Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

WalkMe has multiple options for delivering content for you to choose the proper engagement for your end-users.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

While the training curriculum is comprehensive and engaging, it can be initially time-consuming to complete.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New employee training - the ability for them to complete on-demand.

  ### 40. Requires significant effort to implement, and they will not let customers leave

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick B. | CEO and Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Great idea, to embed help text in specific pages, complete with step by step instructions

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

We never had time to implement the product. It takes a huge time investment, and isn't designed for full documentation. Rather than maintain two sets of documentation, we removed Walkme from our product.

This company is as bad as AOL or TimeWarner: they will not let you out of your multi-year contract no matter how unhappy you are with the product.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

Use HelpNDoc instead. It's an order of magnitude less expense and creates an HTML-based help system from your Word-based user manual. You could make it contextual with links to a given help page in your app.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have gotten zero benefit in all the years we have been a customer. You essentially need a full-time person and a dedicated project to implement, and also to maintain multiple versions if you change your user interface. It just wasn't worth the trouble and certainly not the expense.

  ### 41. Complex and powerful performance support and analytics tool.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie S. | Co-Founder | Instructional Design Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

WalkMe has both high quality and high quantity of powerful features that are highly user-focused. Paired with WalkMe's incredible analytic functionalities, it's hard to imagine how any other DAP tool can compete. I can't pick one favorite thing about WalkMe; it's how all the features work together to create a valuable and powerful asset to users and the company.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Like all powerful tools with many features, it can be difficult and time-consuming for developers to make the optimal solutions for their users.

For those in the Instructional Design world, WalkMe is like Storyline, whereas a simple alternative to WalkMe is like a PowerPoint presentation. Easier to make a quick output, but the output may not be the best or most effective solution.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. New Hire Onboarding
2. New software onboarding
3. Performance Support
4. Awareness and support for new features & processes
5. Identify where associates struggle in processes

  ### 42. More than just guidance!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary T. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

WalkMe has a wealth of resources that make the customer journey effortless, from step-by-step guidances, pop-up messages, and element tips, the product makes adoption a snap.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

It can be tricky to build items if the application has a dynamic element. However, the support team and user community are always quick to assist.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we are using WalkMe to help with customer contact volume. We have seen a 30% reduction of contact cases, and the ActionBot feature now takes in as many cases as a seasoned Call Center veteran.

  ### 43. Just be sure before you sign the contract

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregory S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

In theory, the idea of the product is wonderful. And they are responsive and stay on top of your project. The product is feature-rich and for what they do, they do it well.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

The problem is that you have to sign an annual agreement before you really use the product, and you're locked into that agreement no matter what happens. And the cost depends on what you *think* your user base will be over the course of the next 12 months,

For us, I didn't fully appreciate how complicated it can be to truly integrate WalkMe into our web application. It would have required weeks of time for our most technical resources, and it ended up I couldn't allocate that much time just for WalkMe. And it's too complicated (in my opinion) for any non-technical person to actually set up correctly. There's conditional logic that requires a fair amount of technical understanding, especially if you need to have the WalkMe logic look at the underlying HTML to know where elements should go.

Unfortunately, we ended up not being able to use WalkMe at all. Especially unfortunate is that I'm locked into the annual contract and am on the hook for $20,000 paid $5,000 quarterly. All based on numbers that I *thought* we'd be using (I guess I could have just said we'd only have 10 users).

They refuse to end the contract despite having already paid $10,000 for (quite literally) no work being done. None of their time taking, none of their server resources used, nothing.

So if WalkMe appears to be the right solution for you, be absolutely sure you're going to use it and I would estimate on the LOW side for users because you're going to be paying for them regardless.

We did have one technical issue where the WalkMe scripts were causing each click in our Admin Portal to open a new tab briefly, then immediately close in the browser. We ended up removing the script and not working with them to resolve that, and I believe there would have been a fix for it.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was hoping to use WalkMe as a way to reduce support tickets. But the reality is that I'd need to have a full-time resource just keeping the WalkMe scripts updated since we update our Admin portal with monthly builds, adding functionality and integrations, etc. Since that resource would have to be technical anyway, it makes more sense for me to just add that resource as a support agent.

Any change (even a label change) could cause the WalkMe scripts to break, so for each production update we'd need to review WalkMe to see if anything broke. If something was broken and we didn't proactively fix it, it would cause even more support tickets.

  ### 44. Amazing product. Easy to use and learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad E. | EVP of Channel Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2022

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Ease of Use. Support. Very simple to build shout-outs and guides. Far superior to Pendo.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Although their implementation team is amazing, I Wish they had better self help tools

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer onboarding. Product adoption. Increased product satisfaction

  ### 45. WalkMe for Internal and External Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janelle P. | CONSULTANT: ELEARNING DEVELOPER, GRAPHIC DESIGNER, INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

WalkMe is a very versatile product. We use it for internal training on our product for our employees but primarily externally for our Customers.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

So far I don't have any real dislikes. A challenge is the training of users/builders to use WalkMe. It can be a simple program or you can make it very complex. I wish I could learn it faster.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We training our customers on our software. We use WalkMe solutions live in our application, as well as have SmartWalkThrus available in our Help Menu. In addition, we will begin using (newly purchased) TeachMe to onboard our new customers. In addition we will use TeachMe in our sandbox to train our internal associates on our product updates.

  ### 46. Great tool for workflows that span multiple applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

WalkMe is a tried and proven solution and has the Best Practices for implementation- in-house.
If your processes span multiple applications, you're going to need a tool that can work with both "off the shelf" and custom applications.
WalkMe will get it done!

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

nothing major, while there's no coding, you need to learn CSS.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For processes that are constantly changing due to the vendors' quarterly enhancements, WalkMe ensures that users will know how to complete their processes- without calling the help center!

  ### 47. Easy to use! Hard to set up...

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody B. | Sales Manager - Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Guided support is cake, and it does exactly what it says it does, Walk Me!

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Sounds funny, but there are almost too many features for anyone to utilize truly. The set up was somewhat exhausting as well.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our customer base to navigate our site more easily!

  ### 48. WalkMe takes self-service to a new level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Ability to provide customers a library of self-help guides, videos, and walk-throughs to ensure onboarding success.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Constant updating due to system changes which is not the products fault.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling better onboarding and customer experience.

  ### 49. Getting Started is Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan G. | Sr Learning Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

Our implementations person worked with us to start building SWT's and SmartTips. She was wonderful and very patient.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

Support takes a while. I sat 25 minutes in chat waiting for someone and we cannot screen share with the support representative. Having to take screenshots, save them and attach them is time-consuming.

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New releases every quarter with our product. So something new to users every 90 days. Walk-me allows us to preview the new features for the user and show them what is new and how it works.

  ### 50. Perfect solution to master our systems transition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about WalkMe?**

The ease of implementation and seamless solution for the end-user.

**What do you dislike about WalkMe?**

The export function is not working well. We wanted to use the export function to still have "old fashioned manuals" for our road-warriors field staff to be able to refer to, but were unable to do so without lots of rework.

**Recommendations to others considering WalkMe:**

Seriously consider the services of an external implementation partner that has previous WalkMe experience, in order to shorten the learning curve and smoothen out the roll-out as well as reduce "time to market".

**What problems is WalkMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling multiple thousand of users in a Salesforce CRM transition. We were able to finalise the implementation with minimal "personal handholding" of the end users required, saving training and support costs.
