What I like about VWO Insights is that you can use AI to summarize recordings. The use of funnels and heatmaps is also very convenient.

What I dislike is that you can't choose to view the recordings of the responses you receive from your survey. And the options for survey templates are very limited.

To see where our visitors drop off, why they drop off, what issues they encounter, etc.

**What do you like best about VWO Insights - Web?**

The interface is extremely easy to use. Integration with GA4 is seamless. The more advanced features (e.g. mutually exclusive groups, custom conversions) are game changers for us. Customer support is good.

**What do you dislike about VWO Insights - Web?**

Some of the pricing tiering feels a bit much. e.g. you shouldn't need to purchase the Enterprise version of Insights to remove VWO branding on a survey. 
ould like more flexibility and a la carte options.

It's allowed us to roll out CRO testing at scale at a way previously unachievable.

- easy to navigate and read the data
- detailed segmentation
-pop up surveys have detailed options 
- great customer support when needed
- useful to write observations on recordings/heatmaps directly

**What do you dislike about VWO Insights - Web?**

My only difficulty is with funnels. They are very strictly step by step, and any changes to any step and all the data is flashed and starts over. Although that is good for data quality, I wish there was also a more exploratory customer journey approach.

Other points:
- no error code, website speed data
- cannot randomize the order of filtered recording for less biased analysis (its shown chronolically)

I like the ease of use of the product, despite the fact it has a lot of features. It makes sense to invest enough time to get familiar with all the functionality to get the best results. 
The team of VWO is very supportive, even pushing us when we lag behind with our test program. 
We are using the software for several years now. We usually run several tests simultaneously in a couple of countries and each year we promise ourselves wwe will  do more tests the next one. 
I strongly recommend it as a central hub for your Conversion Rate improvement efforts.

I can't think of anything negative about the software.

Mostly we use the software to run all our A/B tests on the web site. We also monitor recordings of sessions whenever we find problems with the performance of our web site. We also monitor the perfomrance of different funnels defined in the software.

**What do you like best about VWO Insights - Web?**

The platform is interactive and easy to navigate through, Even without training it's quite easy to understand how to use it. One of the key advantages is how Insights is connected to the rest of VWO's products. From observations, through heatmaps to hypothesis and testing. It's a very good way how to keep the data connected.

It was very easy to implement, we could start right away. If there was an issue or a question regarding the setup of functionality, the support team was very qualified and fixed everything quite quickly.

Feature-wise the best addition is the Form analysis, very useful if you are wondering where to start with optimisation. Adding observations into session recordings and sending them over to the dev team without them needing the app access saved us a lot of time.

The interface could use a revamp (heard they launching lots of new stuff this year).

Missing some functionalitities such as: 
- Feedback functionalitity so the customer can give feedback on elements or pages
- Bug reporting: watch recordings combined with errors.

As an agency, we use insights heavily for discovery phases. We use heatmaps, session recordings and form analytics the most. Super easy to integrate with our websites. We use this daily and the support is really reliable and fast.

Nothing. The reporting is fantasitic and is super easy to set up and filter information. Only thing i would add is the UI, perhaps it could be more modern.

The installation can be done on the go just by installing a very lightweight code, called SmartCode. One does not get into the hassle of a lengthy and time-consuming installation process. 

The installation process, basic tutorial, and learning journey are something that one can quickly get from their user-friendly documentation.

**What do you dislike about VWO Insights - Web?**

Their core editor tool gets clumsy when you make multiple customizations. Also, for a new user, it gets tricky to make customizations that cannot be done via the options present on the user interface.

**What problems is VWO Insights - Web solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing the website for the changes that may bring in more conversions or give a better user interface. Not only does it allows to divert the website traffic manually, but can be done automatically based on the performance of the version in a live environment- all this with the help of their Multi Arm Bandit (MAB) approach.

The best part is the VWO dashboard, which shows the performance of each hypothesis on the go, without having to go inside.

When we were researching for an analytics tool to benefit our discovery processes we found that VWO constantly came highly recommended. We signed up and quickly understand why, the funnels and goals are very easy to setup!

There are not many I can think of. However sometimes I find the heatmap tool to be laggy and buggy.

I really like the heat mapping scroll and test variation all on the same page. I also love that we are able to run ab test for survey with just a couple lines of code.

The heat map sometimes run slow on my current set up, we have a SAAS product and occasionally it misses some areas.

I like the ability to be able to review heat maps and the test variations all in one platform. It is very advanced and there is a lot of functionality within the segment setting that can’t be done in other tools. It also requires minimal upkeep as the data continues to keep updating and collecting.

**What do you dislike about VWO Insights - Web?**

That there are multiple steps that you aren’t able to go back and forward between which makes it more time consuming. Sometimes there isn’t as much explanation on the tool as I would like which means that we have to speak to our main contact about instead, but they always answer questions well.

I have realised that the main nav on my clients website isn’t correct for a user so we are testing this

The tool makes it easier to perform A/B tests on websites. It is easy to run one accounts, which has sub-accounts for each different client, so you can easily manage testing on multiple clients sites.

I dislike the settings within the tests, and how they are grouped - it can sometimes take time to change a small thing in the test, as it can be confusing to understand where it is within VWO.

We are able to test and multiple clients websites at once. It also means that as an agency, we can build the test ourselves without having access to the source code from our clients, which saves a lot of time.

Interactions tracking very easily configured, unlimited and ongoing heatmap collection, clickmap, scrollmap. Significance given for every interaction, segment, goal. Session recordings.

Not possible to activate segments when the test has already been started once (even if it's paused and all data flushed), this is very frustrating because it's a basic feature and you expect to check how different segments performed for your test (so might be useful to not have it configurable, just by default activated and if the user doesn't want to segment, it doesn't harm).

I love the heatmaps and click maps!
The session recording is awesome (thought requires improvements).
Potentially the Surveys are good - but haven't got to use it as much as I would like to...

Some of the tools that are offered aren't very intuitive.
The functionality of elements is very difficult to understand for end-users.
The identification of users/ segmentation should be improved.

The actual analytics suite is very nice and the flow of setting up experiments well thought out. I did like their presentation layer.

Continuously had issues creating multi-variant tests. Our traffic was too much, so we needed to sample, which did not provide very effective analysis. Somewhat clunky in the previewing tools

Were able to run several successful tests, including A/B/n on elements. Were also able to A/B skipping steps during checkout.

Can't call least useful, but, if possible I would simplify analytics and tracking implementation process

VWO helps to test our hypotesis about possible landing page Conversion and Revenue improvements. Biggest benefit is having a quick way to setup the test without asking IT to make changes and prepare new landing pages.

Give us autonomy to implement most of the tests without support from a developer or even from a designer, which also increases the speed while scaling the # of growth experiments. In addition, the opportunity of slicing and dicing the reports allow us to get better insights.

The Surveys and heatmaps are really limited in comparison to other tools out there. The Plan functionalities are not so practical because you almost can't customize it, apart from the fact it's not integrated to tools like Asana for managing all the cross-functional workflow.

Goals and observations don't seem to be as useful as I initially thought. Observations seem to get in the way of tests. I do observations in other software to get sign off and then I come into VWO to get it all set up and ready to run and I don't like having to set up a observation before I can start a test.

Qualitative analysis and real customer validation of incremental improvements. We've seen massive YOY gains in our ecommerce column because of incremental tests we've been able to run through A/B testing. VWO has a great dashboard and fairly easy to navigate results page. They are great in replying to all the inquiries and are pleasure to work with. The options for testing in the menu are fantastic and very user friendly, especially for first time users. It's overall a great tool to use without needing to involve any devs.

VWO is rather cumbersome to implement. Use of the dynamic edit function is difficult to navigate if you are a new user, and have never worked with the tool before. It can be a little pricey.

It's a great option if you want to be  able to set up AB testing experiments for a website fairly quickly!

The entire quality assurance process is pretty difficult with VWO,  making edits to dynamic pages is nigh impossible out of the box. Customer support can be spotty. IMO the heat map functionality just doesn't work.

VWO isn't perfect, but it is a great tool if your organization is looking to get its feet wet with Conversion Rate Optimization. They are developing great tools and features, as well as providing a library of testing ideas and case studies in case you're having trouble thinking of what to test.

Their results reporting isn't iron-clad, but for many efforts it's good enough. I personally am not a big fan of how "confident" they are in their declaring winners - I've seen tests where one day it says a variation is a winner at 100% confidence, then the next day that's down to 81% (think about that for a second). 

However, for most new testers, it's a great tool and definitely a lot easier to use than a tool like Google Optimize.

The price point is very reasonable as well, making it accessible to companies of all sizes.

VWO helps me test specific variations through their A/B testing platform as well as measure their results. It also works well as a "traffic splitter" to send traffic to different URLs, even if you bypass the editor.

But, I really believe that their best asset is the customer relationship, you can count with a great team at any point, there is no doubt their will not answer you, no bug or problem you can have they will not be willing to help you and short it out.

I think they could have waited to release their "beta" features like session recording and the new heatmaps and funnels, because they don't really work that well. Our agency has found VWO to be extremely valuable, and not just as an A/B testing tool (although the visual editor makes it incredibly easy to deploy simple tests). We have found the Visitor Analysis Beta, including heatmaps, clickmaps, scrollmaps, and form analysis to be incredibly beneficial for analysis of on-site engagement, and often serves as a foundation for what we may want to A/B test.

Customer support has been fantastic and if we have any issues regarding setting up a test, our rep is responsive and helpful.

The visitor analysis beta, although helpful, does come with its fair share of bugs. It currently has a difficult time with interactive elements of a page such as navigation drop-downs, ect.. We have received workarounds, but these could be fixed.

The VWO team has really focused on delivering a ton of valuable features for a lower cost than some competitors (which we also have a lot of experience with). We have gotten a ton of value out of some of these.

The AB testing portion could use some work to clarify the data that is being reported back. Platforms like Optimizely do this really well. It can also be difficult to set the tests up when the editor is being buggy.

All in all, it's a good platform that we rely on for testing on several clients. You just have to work around some of the little hangups in the user interface.

I dislike several minor usability issues like if I am logged in into VWO account and I am surfing on our website heatmaps automatically turns on even if I did not wanted to.
In goals tracking summary we always have G1 to Gx as goal names and we can not quickly compare goals between, we need to remember what Gx represent or go into details to see full goal name.
In forms tracking we can not rename form fields as we can in Hotjar for example. So our form names and fields in reports looks like this:

**What do you like best about VWO Insights - Web?**

The ability to run multiple A/B tests at the same time; ability to run multiple tests -- testing different options. Since our company is based solely online, we are able to quickly test what is working for our website and what isn't. It gives us a great tool to begin an indepth comparison

**What do you dislike about VWO Insights - Web?**

The interface is a little counterintuative. For example, finding where to change the test can be difficult. It requires some time getting used to.  We also wish it worked with Google Analytics a little more seamlessly. At the moment, we are still having to use both to compare data and sometimes we get conflicting information. 

**Recommendations to others considering VWO Insights - Web:**

VWO is a great tool for any website looking to make sure their customer's online experience is the best it can be. They use a great interface that allows for easy comparisons. 

**What problems is VWO Insights - Web solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of my favorite features is the heat maps. It allows us to see where our customers are looking on the site and what information is important to them. It allows our company to get rid of extra and unnecessary items on our website and establish what our customers are looking for.

**What do you like best about VWO Insights - Web?**

Creating A/B testing is easier compare to Optimizely (well, my optimizely experience is 1-2 years old now, not sure if they improved their interface). And also it has its own integrated heatmap!

**What do you dislike about VWO Insights - Web?**

Modifications usually look weird on mobile version which frustrates us. For that reasons, most of the time we end up excluding mobile visitors or use URL splitting instead of A/B. I would also appreciate if VWO can find a way to give test results for low traffic websites.

Test pages on mobile before going live

We were able to decrease the bounce rate on high traffic pages.

**What do you like best about VWO Insights - Web?**

VWO is easy to use, also if you don't have any coding knowledge. Campaigns are easy to set up and reports are very visual and easy to share with colleagues.

**What do you dislike about VWO Insights - Web?**

The preview function has issues. It never loads in my current session, I have to open a new session in  incognito mode. When it does work, it takes forever to load previews for the pages i'm testing.

**What problems is VWO Insights - Web solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're optimizing our ecommerce website. Using A/B testing and heatmaps, we can safely roll out new functionality to our customers, and optimize the shopping experience.
