Viva Engage offers an efficient platform for employees across different regions and departments to remain connected. I find it easy to share updates, acknowledge accomplishments, and keep up with what’s happening in other teams. The interface is intuitive and blends well with the overall Microsoft 365 environment, which helps drive adoption. Sometimes, the platform feels a bit crowded, which means that important posts can quickly get buried beneath more active threads. I also find the notifications to be somewhat unreliable, so I often miss updates unless I check manually. The companies that I've used Viva Engage at (formerly Yammer) have used the tool like social media for work. We use it to share news about the company, news about ourselves, news in general, as well as comics and tech news. It's a good way to share more social content like team photos etc widely.
