# Is Mixmax worth it for founders and small sales teams tracking emails in Gmail?

Its design bet is that the inbox is the platform.

The honest boundary: it’s built around Gmail, so it stops being an option if the team standardizes on Outlook, and it can be more product than two people end up using.
For a two person team I'd actually lean toward Saleshandy first just to validate whether you even need the workflow stuff Mixmax offers. Mixmax earns its price once you're actually running sequences and scheduling regularly, but if you're just tracking opens casually it might be more product than you need yet. Yesware's a decent middle ground if tracking really is the whole ask.
