**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I use TriNet for my benefits, and it helps me plan for vacation, find tax information, and track my paychecks. I like how easy it is to find what I'm looking for because the topics that users need the most are very obvious and upfront, so not a lot of digging is required, which is a big timesaver. I am able to use it on my phone, which is convenient. We switched from ADP, and I think it is easier to use. The initial setup went smoothly, with no hiccups.

I love the availability of resources on TriNet! However, sometimes the dashboard can seem overwhelming because of all the features available. It can be difficult to find specific resources without looking at a help guide.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like that TriNet is comprehensive and allows one platform to manage multiple components of HR. I enjoy how simple it is to update employee records. Inputting employee leave, pay changes, and promotions is simple. I also like that the TriNet ATS can move an employee to hire automatically.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

It's not very customizable for my company's specific needs. It would be great if the ATS system could integrate with calendars, messaging systems, and be more customizable. I would like if TriNet ATS allowed you to change the communication 'to' field. It currently has a long spam-like email communication sends from. It's also annoying that logging in to the TriNet mobile app makes you then have to re-authenticate on desktop and vice-versa.

TriNet helps track details for 50+ employees, adjusts pay, and makes updating records simple. It's comprehensive for managing HR components, and the ATS system can automatically move an employee to hire.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

The most helpful regarding using TriNet is that it is very convenient and the upsides of using it is that I've always had a positive experience each time used, the platform is easy to navigate and makes it really simple to access all required documents and it provides important HR resources without having to contact someone for routine tasks.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The least helpful and downside of using TriNet is logging into the program. I have issues when I need to log in while at home and while at work.

I have yet to  use TriNet for solving problems.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I think just the all-in-one feature of TriNet is uber convenient. Having them do all the things to make sure the tax entities are set up correctly and handling all the tax stuff is very helpful. They also manage all the audits and the payroll throughout the year, which is helpful to have in one place. It’s very helpful because we have people all over the United States, and TriNet handles new hires and tax filings for different states, so we don’t have to worry about that.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I feel that sometimes our hands are tied behind our back. We don't have a say, it's either TriNet's way or, you know, that's the only way to do things. Even if it doesn't necessarily work well for our company. And it's just expensive.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet helped us scale, launching our HR department when headcounts were low. It handles hiring, payroll, benefits, tax setup across states, and audits. It's uber convenient to have all these in one place, especially with team members across the U.S.

What I like most about TriNet is how easy its platform is to use. It simplifies complex HR tasks like payroll, benefits, and compliance into an intuitive, user-friendly experience. **What do you like best about TriNet?**

I believe TriNet is very simple and the UI is very straightforward. It does not have excessive menus or things that are confusing. There's an aspect of it that people are usually accustomed to, with menus on the left and information on the right. Everything that is supposed to be under time or money-related matters is under the money tab, and the dashboard gives a brief description of what I should be doing and what things are important, making it very clear to use. The initial setup was also very simple because I was able to use a temporary code to log in and establish a new connection from my own password.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I think some of the menus for requirements are not clear enough because they don't tell you if there's action needed. Sometimes things say pending or completed, but you don't know why it's pending. You know, though you should be contacting someone or uploading a document.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TriNet for managing employee benefits and timekeeping. It simplifies the logistics of payment and onboarding while helping me track paid time off.

I like that TriNet allows me to use AI to navigate the platform in a much more simplified way. As a new member, AI really helps me get up to speed with finding every single bit of important information on the platform. I really appreciate how easy it was to set up TriNet.

One critique I have is that there is no landing page, in the sense that there's not like a home dashboard where everything that you'd like to have access to is easily accessible. And I know that there's a knowledge base and a sidebar, but if the dashboard provided a unified way of accessing every single bit of information that you'd like as an employee, I think that would be a great idea.

I use TriNet to access my payments, tax documents, health insurance benefits, and other company perks. The AI navigation helps me find important information quickly as a new user.

The menu on the main page makes it really easy to identify all the features it offers. I don’t need to click through drop-down menus or hunt around for things—everything is laid out clearly and is easy to find.

For the I-9 verification portion, it only says that documentation needs to be presented, but it doesn’t clarify whether that can be submitted through the portal or if it has to be done in person.

Completing my tax forms was straightforward and hassle-free. It was easy to identify the right tax documents, and I could access them quickly from the main menu.

I really like having a single, centralized dashboard where I can easily view my paystubs, download my W-2s, and manage my health benefits. The interface is very straightforward, so I never have to hunt around for the documents I need.

While the desktop version is fine, the mobile app can sometimes feel a bit slow and clunky. It occasionally freezes or takes too long to load when I try to download paystubs or check my time-off balances on the go.

The UX of the dashboard is nice. Navigation isn't difficult and the pages are easy to read. I mainly use the page to look at my time off accrual and finding it is relatively easy.

Since I mainly use it for time off tracking, understanding the balance counter is a bit difficult. There are also sometimes a few labels that at first are hard to understand when trying to find out other information in the platform

Its just the system my organization has chosen to use for work benefits. Its nice to have it all in one place.

So far, I haven’t found anything I dislike about the platform.

TriNet helps streamline many of the administrative HR tasks that can otherwise be time-consuming and complicated. Having payroll, benefits, employee information, and HR resources all in one platform makes it much easier to find what I need and complete tasks efficiently. This saves time, reduces confusion, and allows me to focus more on supporting customers and helping my team rather than navigating multiple systems. The centralized access to information has improved both productivity and the overall employee experience

A concise platform for a lot of things I want, like payslip, taxes, perks, and more. I like the web dashboard and how well all the information is integrated in one place. The AI features is also helpful. Always prompt making the performance really good. The pricing is fair too given all employess on it. The onboarding was also very straightforward thanks to the amazing splash screen. I love how the platform is integrated with a lot of third party tools and websites.

The perks page can include better search features and deals. The 2FA can be improved, need an OTP each time.

Trinet provides an easy to use UI for online account management. I've also found their support helpful when enrolling in benefits. Tax information and forms are easy to find

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Occasionally, when I've run into issues (two occasions) it's taken multiple tickets with IT (in both cases) to get the problem resolved. My tickets were closed without comments, which I found very frustrating. Better communitcation would have been appreciated. While the UI is easy to navigate, it is a bit dated when compared with competitors like BambooHR.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I really like the TriNet dashboard because it helps me see how much I got paid and how many sick and vacation hours I have. It's an easy visual on the most important things. The initial setup of TriNet was also easy peasy, which is great.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The timesheet logging in TriNet feels a bit clunky and could be improved. Specifically, I wish there was a way to input the same hours and lunches for multiple days at once instead of having to enter them day by day.

TriNet makes managing retirement accounts and direct deposits easy. I use it for logging hours, calling in sick, and vacation management. The dashboard gives an easy visual of pay and leave balance, which I really like.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like the ease of use on the platform and the app. I also like being able to see my paycheck breakdown in a graphic, which helps me with my financial management. Additionally, the initial setup of TriNet was easy from what I can remember.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I don't like the performance evaluation system. It wasn't explained to me well, and it doesn't feel intuitive when you're working on it. I also do not like that I have to go to a separate site to review and approve timesheets for my direct reports. I would prefer to do it in TriNet itself.

I use TriNet for tracking timesheets, managing time off requests, accessing benefits, and viewing paystubs. I like the ease of use and the paycheck breakdown graphic helps with financial management.

I like how organized Trinet is. I use it all the time for work and all work related things. Everything is all in one place. compared to prior employers who have used workday and integrated adp and other external services (I had to login once my session logged out) I am able see seamlessly switch tabs and look at different important things inside Trinet regarding my work and pay and benefits.

Not much to dislike about it. havent found anything that bothers me

its solving the problem of employees having difficulty finding important information regarding their pay and benefits and making it user friendly for those who are not so tech savy.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

It was super easy to get onboarded and ready for work based upon the software and interface provided. It was a seamless process that integrated both ai, good looking sliders and screens all into one place that performed well and helped me be ready for work on day 1 without the usual stress that comes with set ups like this. Overall so good.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I did not like that it was not more clear to only do my i9 inside the software and not just download the document so I felt funny going and doing that twice. Other than that there was not much I disliked. Maybe it could have had a better authenticator feature that was more integrated rather than if you want it here it is I guess.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me it was I hate signing up and getting all this information set and TriNet solved the hassle with it where it sucks to do and nobody wants to do it. It legit took me 15 minuets and I was not upset or annoyed like I usually would be with other softwares. This went above and beyond.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I love that TriNet provides full payroll and tax compliance in a truly hands-off manner. It's a big win for us because they handle all federal, state, and local payroll taxes automatically, including filings and deposits. We don't have to calculate anything or worry about penalties. This is especially important for us as a team without a dedicated payroll specialist. I also appreciate the Fortune-500-level benefits TriNet offers at SMB pricing. As a smaller company, we could never get high-quality health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans affordably on our own. Thanks to TriNet's PEO model, we have access to lower premium health insurance and managed 401(k), which helps us recruit and retain better talent. The initial setup of TriNet was smooth, though it wasn't a quick setup, it makes sense since it's a full PEO.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I have concerns with the limited customization for workflows and policies. Since it's a standardized PEO platform, we have to adapt to TriNet's process, rather than the system accommodating ours. We can't fully tweak approval flows for PTO or onboarding to match our internal workflow. Additionally, policy documents, handbooks, and forms are somewhat templated and less flexible than standalone HR tools.

TriNet takes care of our payroll and tax compliance, removing risks and mistakes. It also lets us offer top-notch benefits at competitive prices, helping with hiring and retention. It's ideal for small businesses without in-house HR.

TriNet is very user friendly and if there is an issue, the support is great and responds quickly and resolves the issue.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

So far I haven't found anything I dislike about TriNet, it's been an overall good experience.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time clock is very easy to use and if you happen to miss a punch, it's very easy to go back and submit missed punch requests.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

There is a centralized dashboard where I can easily go to benefits, paystubs, personal info etc.  Electing benefits was fairly straight forward and not overly complicated.  I also was able to easily view and complete W 4 forms and edit anything I needed to do.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

401k process.  I have to register again to elect my options around this and it's not easy.  I still have not been able to register/login and have to reach out to Trinet directly vs internal as I am on the PEO.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm sure for our org it solves for the HR process as TriNet owns all of it.  For me personally it provides a space to view all my HR related items (benefits, paystubs, personal info etc)

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I really like how with TriNet, anytime there is a question or concern, especially using the chat function, I get very clear and concise responses in a very quick time frame, almost every single time, so there's usually no wait, which is great. Our point of contact is also really quick to reply whenever there's any concern and to explain how to handle the situation, which is a big plus. I also find TriNet to be a very user-friendly platform.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Not a huge fan of Empower would be great if Trinet utilized Fidelity at some point

I like that TriNet provides full HR services.  I do not have to worry about workers comp or dealing with the state or a separate payroll company.  I also like the extensive benefits available and the perks and discounts we get from using TriNet.

It is a bit costly, especially for a small company like ours.  We essentially pay for employees we do not have.  There are also some add on fees associated with benefit selection that are unnecessary.  I also find it complicated to get answers to simple questions at times as TriNet is so big cases take time to resolve.

They run payroll, maintain HR and take all of that burden off me as a small business owner.  They also provide benefits that I may not be able to offer otherwise.  This saves me time and aggravation.

I like how TriNet has templates set up to help small businesses create their policies, as well as share information with employees about their benefits.

The admin fees feel a bit high, especially since the offering seems limited to basic policies and handbooks for the company, and we still have to create many of our own policies and our handbook, even at the state level. Also, the health insurance options seem somewhat limited for our area.

The fact that TriNet does have templates in place does help companies either starting up or improving create or update policies.  Most of the questions I have asked I've been referred to their HR attorneys for which we already have in place.

I think TriNet's direct deposit and I-9 document submitting flows are two of the easiest to use. They are comparable to others I've used. It saves me time because I avoid going back and forth over email with an HR or people representative and can just upload documents myself on my computer.

The user experience feels a little clunky. A lot of pages inside of the TriNet dashboard have to open up a new tab and take you away from the dashboard. The flows are not super intuitive and easy to understand, and I've had more positive experiences using Bamboo and Rippling.

I love that it is an all-in-one shop for our HR/payment needs. Our reps at Trinet, Beryl Williams and Chinyere Deehan, have both been outstanding. Our implementation was easy, and the platform is generally easy to use.

In my experience, the process of getting FSA reimbursement can be cumbersome and arbitrary - the same type of receipt/invoice may be accepted or rejected without any real rhyme or reason.

I am not sure if it is my companies implementation or trinet in general, but there is not much integration with external features, like stock plans, 401Ks, etc.  Also, when changing health care plans or adding or removing individuals form plans, it is very slow to update and makes you unsure whether your changes were successful or not, but when I have asked our HR can see the changes are effective, so for some reason it just seems slow to update on the basic user's side.

Helps me keep track of when I am paid, links me to my 401k, and helps me track and request PTO.

I really like TriNet's interface; it's really nice compared to other systems that I've used previously. It's nice to have everything all in one place, which I find really intuitive. TriNet makes it easy because, with some other platforms, it can be kinda confusing where you need to go for what.

The only thing was when reviewing my health or employee benefits. If I wanted to make a change after the fact, I had to go back to that section. So, for example, go back to the health insurance section, make my change, and then go back through every other section rather than just being able to change one section at a time. That was kind of annoying.

1) Some navigations are unnecessary like Time tab has only Time off, so simplify it. 2) Notification flag does not get disabled even after the inbox has been read.
In my Tax data, my marital status is wrong but I am not sure how to get it corrected. Which impacts my monthly tax deduction. Thus, certain processes are not well defined or communicated to a user.

I use it only for Salary updates and Leave details. Our health insurance details are also selected at the year beginning from it. That process and comparison of plans is still complex.

When it comes to Time off requests it can be a little hard to calculate time remaining when the accrual rate changes mid way through a year for special years, like during an anniversary year in which you gain more PTO hours however its only part of the year.

Sometimes our 401K provider and Trinet do not connect as seamlessly as we'd like.  For instance, 401K loans don't always come over for payment deduction, but this could be more the 401K provider with the issue.

We don't really have a dedicated HR staff, so I operation as Finance Director AND perform the HR related duties using the Trinet system.  It saves us much time and expense having a dedicated HR employee.
