**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

Ticket Tailor is easy to set up and far more efficient than similar systems such as eventbrite for free events to support our nonprofit. I found the UI easy to navigate and adjustments to events to be simple. I especially appreciated being able to add custom questions to order forms that I could easily check without exporting to CSV and Excel files or navigating a clunky app.

**What do you dislike about Ticket Tailor?**

1. The software platform and text only communication is likely fine for most small issues. When I had a significant issue my bank was very friendly and quick to respond. That was not my experience with ticket tailor. I waited several minutes in between messages and was bounced three times without any clarity over what efforts the team was making to resolve this request. 
2. Additional payment options are badly needed, as there are no members of the team who seem aware of how the current platform works well enough to offer viable solutions.
3. A yearly rate is needed at a minimum for fees that can't be paid in advance.
4. If you are going all-in on a credit system, the credit system should cover ALL of the various charges you are offering.
5. Branding yourself as supportive for nonprofits and then hiding fees that don't qualify for discounts feels disingenuous. You are certainly not required to offer any discounts but either go all-in, or be more transparent about this in your branding.

Ticket Tailor solves our nonprofit's needs for quickly registering guests and organizing our events with a custom event page that replaces Squarespace's clunky website design. I can link with my domain so that the access for my community feels seamless.

- Embeddded widget is editable and looks really nice.
- Lots of features i.e Voucher Refunds.  Looking forward to using Membership now.
- Clean and Fast
- Ability to up-sell products
- Super fast app to scan tickets in.

- Broadcast Email Template that can be tweaked and applied to each event.
- Ability to edit "on purchase" broadcast email (for live streams)
- Could do with a more extensive anayltics data dashboard
- No partial refunds on group bookings

**What problems is Ticket Tailor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to do all of our ticketing we spend £1000s a month in marketing, SEO and our events.  So being able to control our own customers as most 3rd party platforms take 10% of our sales as a booking fee and don't promote.  The tools they provide are all relevant to us and we could use more of. In our goal to own customer data we self managed ticketing on our website with WooCommerce.  However, struggled to get it to adapt to our needs and set up automated emails to remind customers of their tickets as well as provide automatic post event emails to convert customers into email subscribers or social media followers.

**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

It's going well so far. There are a few things I don't think I'm executing properly but the site is well set up so I'm sure I'll figure out the more complicated aspects of ticket selling as I go.

I like that I can add dates as I go to a reoccurring event with bundle discounts and different discounts.

It's an easy to use system and if you don't understand things the customer service team are a great help.

The CVS exported file of orders doesn't include the STRIPE fees for each transaction. It would make life easier if this data was included.

Being able to sell bundles of tickets. Automating everything so I don't have to keep re-listing events and no. of tickets.

**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

I made the switch from Eventbrite to Ticket Tailor for selling tickets for my forest bathing walks (Soft Earth Forest Therapy), and I'm so glad I did. Not only is Ticket Tailor B Corp certified, they donate a portion of each ticket sold to one of their climate charity partners. Their services are seamless and easy to use, their support is fast, kind, and helpful, and I feel really good knowing that a portion of the fees I pay for are supporting an awesome business doing important work for small entrepreneurs like me, as well as our planet.

I can't think of anything at the moment!

They help streamline the process of registration and selling tickets to my forest bathing walks. The prices per ticket are reasonable, and I love the social and environmental impacts of their company!

**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

The customer service is next to none, with responses always resolving any questions or issues very quickly. I like the format of credits, and generally although a little confusing at first due to the different model, it is actually much simpler and more transparent than other services such as eventbrite or dice. 

Integrations with mailchimp are fantastic for building your mailing list from ticket sales, and the donations option is extremely effective for making shows or tours more economical. 

I will certainly be using Ticket Tailor again in the future.

**What do you dislike about Ticket Tailor?**

I think at first the credit system was a little bit confusing, and although I understand that it means that you receive a larger sum of money when buying bulk credits, it would be nice to be able to remove or reduce booking fees in a more economical way. I still don't fully understand it, but as a system it is simpler and more transparent that other ticketing sites, and is still affordable, so I will be using in the future!

The one upside to competitor sites is the discoverability on sites such as eventbrite or headfirst in Bristol, which ticket tailor doesn't have. Headfirst have a featured events page that their editorial team personally select, which is really nice.

As a business owner, i was looking for a better alternative to some of the more popular platforms. Ticket tailor still has fees, but not as much as others and i loved how easy it was to set up events and occurrences and integrate it into our website

You can't create a discount code for just one ticket - it creates a discount for all tickets on the purchase.

The confirmation & ticket emails don't give you much opportunity for personalisation, and look cheap.

Use it if you want customer service from humans and you want to be able to run and fund your events. No more waiting until AFTER the event to receive profit.

**What do you dislike about Ticket Tailor?**

When working with the API, when I have a question, it takes a couple of days for technical questions to be answered.

Also,  it is not usable on older web bowsers that cannot pass the cloudflare captcha.

Getting set up was quick and easy. We had intended to use Eventbrite, but ran into a bunch of technical issues related to payouts. We found Ticket Tailor when we googled for an alternative, and instantly preferred the experience. The ticket pages are prettier and we loved all the features to make event management easy, such as the mobile app checkin and the statistics.

This was our first time using online ticketing. I searched through various ticketing platforms, some with ridiculous fees, and found TicketTailor, which had the lowest fees. 

It was a breeze to use. It was easy to set up, worked like a charm, and everything went smoothly.

When you set it up and then never have to think about it again, you know that's a good system!

Nothing. I thought they couldn't sell multiple tickets as part of one package but they could.

Ticket Tailor was so easy to setup and run for a fundraising/non-profit event!  The low fees, and option for venmo payments, made it the best option to keep the MOST proceeds for our organization!

It would be nice to have a per ticket dollar transaction fee, rather than a single amount per transaction, or percentage option.

I like the way it looks. I like the ability to tailor communication with ticket holders over time from sign-up through preparations and follow-up. good data.

I haven't had any issues with it except my own user error of not preparing detailed pre-event details when I first made the event. As I've learned how to use it, I think it works great.

I need to have a QR linked event landing page for outreach, to communicate with participants, and to track attendance.

**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

Ticket Tailor made the process of creating a seating chart for my event super easy by allowing the use of pictures of the original seating chart to help digitize it. The creation of tickets as well was super easy and fully customizable. I was able to create my event in less than a few hours and get it up and running. Accepting payments from our customers was super easy as we were able to use Paypal and Square. Their support team is also ready to help whenever you need it and will work with you to solve the problem. You can also easily track and export your sales summary for reporting. Overall, the software was exactly what we needed and it was great to work with a purpose driven company.

**What do you dislike about Ticket Tailor?**

There is essentially nothing to dislike about the product. It is easy to get up and running and use.

**What problems is Ticket Tailor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software solved our problem of having our fundraiser event transactions all happen in a physical setting. Previous years we would have a hard copy of our seating chart, we would take payment at our physical location, and would take phone calls daily to book seats. With this software, we were able to make all of this happen online and it saved our staff loads of time spent on these tasks.

**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

I found it fairly easy to set up our account. I had used EventBrite before, so I was aware of some of the parameters of set up.  What impressed me was the support people. When I had a question, whether at 10:00 PM at night or 6:00 AM EDT, I received a response sometimes within seconds and always within a few minutes.  That was comforting as I fumbled the ball a couple of times--my error, not Ticket Tailor.
The pricing model and ticket credits is way less than competitors.

**What do you dislike about Ticket Tailor?**

The pricing was a little confusing at first since I was used to a per ticket straight up pricing. When I figured out what "Ticket credits" meant, my group and I were surprised just how inexpensive it was.

Easy to use for the patrons and I have received ZERO phone calls asking me for help in purchasing tickets.

**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

The cost - It doesn't cost a platform more to sell an expensive ticket versus a cheaper one, so why should they charge more? Ticket Tailor get this and charge a flat fee, they even make it cheaper for you if you pay up front!
Event information is easy to enter, and clearly displayed to browsers. Ticket types are flexible and customisable and they support multiple team logins and roles without even more charges.
New features are being delivered all the time, and if they're not perfect at launch, that's OK as they listen to feedback and improve them over time.
On the back-end integration with Zapier means every ticket sold on Ticket Tailor results in a sale being raised in my accounts on Xero. I literaly have to make one click to confirm it!

**What do you dislike about Ticket Tailor?**

Maybe you miss out on the marketing that other sites claim to do for your event, but that's debatable. Anything else I haven't liked over the years of using Tick Tailor I've raised with their support team, and they've either helped me out there and then, or passed my concerns on to their developers and often things are fixed or features tweaked in reponse.

It fully automates are event registration process. No more spreadsheets of attendees. No more manual invoicing. Ticket Tailor is the canonical source of information about all our events now.

**What do you like best about Ticket Tailor?**

Ticket Tailor is so simply to use in every way. Easy and straight forward to set up an account, with adding events very quick and intuitive to do. The whole experience has been great, with each event we have held looking well presented - and enabling people to book without any faults. Links to our main box office - which wonderfully shows all upcoming events - can be shared and added to various places... with event preview links to events being able to be shared before they are made public - perfect for reviewing to be done by the people who need to do so. I've been using Ticket Tailor for our events for 6 years. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, the integration with my payment processor was seamless and easy to set up, the support is great, and the fees are the best I've come across! Unless something drasticly changes, I don't see myself ever going somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

**What do you dislike about Ticket Tailor?**

About the only drawback I can think of is the integration with Venmo & Cash App doesn't allow for automatic funds verification (which may be more of an issue with Venmo & Cash App than it is with Ticket Tailor.) So, a person can buy a ticket and select to pay in one of these ways but it requires you as a host to manually check-off that payment was received once sent. So, in a few instances, I had tickets issued that were used by someone who said they were going to pay via Venmo, but never sent payment. The scanning app does identify these tickets when they are scanned, but it doesn't scan as a denied/invalid ticket. My staff was unaware of this, which is completely my fault because I was too busy to train them on it. Overall, that is the only issue and I'm not sure that's really Ticket Tailor's fault. They have a process in place. But it would be nice if there was a way that the integration could work like it does with Stripe.

Ticket Tailor is easy to use and is great for running one off events or weekly events. It's interface is easy to understand and there are enough options to tailor it to my needs. 

The cost to use Ticket Tailor seems fair and their credit system means you pay less the more tickets you sell through it. 

It's easy to duplicate events and edit them. 

They also seem to have a postive social ethic and I am impressed by this.

The downside is that the customer payments option they recommend for selling tickets is through "Stripe" which I find slightly confusing when it comes to working out income from various events.

I liked how the complexity of ticket options on the background remains clean and clear for the customers! We had a variety of ticket options and were worried it would come out as muddled, but it didn't. There were a few hiccups in the road, but we got through!

It was difficult to learn how to setup certain ticket structures for our event. There ended up being ways we could have set it up that wasn't exactly obvious for us and there was nothing to indicate there was another way. In the end, this caused us to spend more money on tickets than we should have, which is a shame for a small charity! If I got in touch with the help staff, they always helped, but it's just a shame that I'd have to do that for every thing. It almost seems like there should be someone to review your event with you to ensure it's setup properly.

It's very user friendly and it's easy to edit details, duplicate events, change tickets, customise the message the customer receives after they've booked etc.  The payment mechanism was surprisingly simple to set up and there are lots more features that I haven't quite explored. Additionally the customer support has been so responsive - I get answers within minutes from a human being! I just love using the website daily.  The integration with other systems especially Stripe is excellent.  Can't fault it.

I love that it is so easy to use but it looks professional too. It would really work for small community groups or large businesses that are needing to run online or in person events. You can automate a lot and duplicate emails/events from previous ones so it makes it very quick to upload a series of events or similar. To be honest, I've not really found anything just yet. I suppose it would be nice to have more options for your own branding but there are so many options to put on your own website that I am not sure this matters.

I searched around this summer for the best way to continue to automate and make signing up for sessions as simple as possible and wanted to share what works well for me! After trialing a few options, I decided to just keep what we've been using for a few years now. It's completely free to use if your sessions are free and there are discounted rates for non-profits on top of that. I like that we can offer a free program, but include a donation or "recommended amount" that most people end up paying anyways. (It'd be cheap even if you do charge per session and you could put the extra fees on your attendees.) I can easily create automated email reminders that send to everyone signed up for each session, automatically create wait-lists / limit open spots, and make a printable door-list of everyone coming for my secretary with just a click of a button. TicketTailor has been a game changer for me and looks sleek on our website too.

I wish I could save info so that returning attendees wouldn't have to upload the same info every time. I also wish they could select multiple days instead of inputting the same info repetitively.

It has fine-grained control over event, for example we're selling a few different categories of tickets (e.g. early birds) with different expiry dates and independent controls for quantity. By controlling how many tokens you buy to make per-ticket sales cheaper, and the quantity of tickets for events, you can know exactly how much you'll be spending to run sales for your event. The way the embed works on a wordpress site is magic too - a simple plugin, easily set up, so delegates/ticket purchasers never feel like they're leaving the organisational website.

Some facility to setup a scheduled purchase for tokens would be useful, for example to buy x amount if we sell n tickets.

We use Ticket Tailor every day for fundraising and have found it to be very easy to use. We hold one BIG annual event and several small events which were very easy to implement. The price is really fabulous compared to Eventbrite and we get all the features we need including integration with Paypal and Stripe. Customer support is pretty good and it is nice to be able to access the online chat facility without having to wait very long.

Although you can customise fields for attendants names, the customised fields do not appear in the online booking confirmations and there is no way to get them there. If you use the standard attendant name field then this gets downloaded as one field with first and surname concatenated. A minor issue but can be quite annoying to customers with complex names...

It handles all our bookings, collecting money and providing decent facilities to download data from the online system.
