"TAG software package is user friendly for CMMS implementation"

What do you like best about The Asset Guardian?

The window organization is easy to navigate i.e., menus, sub-menus, ribbons, buttons, e.t.c. If you operate in Microsoft windows, then you are home when you come to use this software. TAG has flexibility in creating proper business process. Although, there is room for the software package to be improved and refined to meet minimum requirements in Asset Management practices. What do you dislike about The Asset Guardian?

In the final package, I would like TAG to have embedded universal reports for Maintenance Management KPIs.

Coding is an area where system can be improved to meet global expectation for Maintenance Managers using CMMS softwares. For example, in the Workforce menu, selecting sub-menus, e.g., Technician Codes where you choose the Supervisor position, should be updated accordingly to Supervisor. Also, improvments like including global roles e.g. Engineer as a Maintenance Manager in most cases is a qualified Engineer will expect to have proper titles in the package Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Asset Guardian solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using the TAG CMMS system to guide, track and solve Equipment Downtime (Breakdowns), Reduce Maintenance Costs, and Improve Production Uptime. Once the maintenance package is pragmatically tailored, developed and implemented for a particular site, the business benefits are enormous. Great experience with NMC Zambia so far.

If the business has similar operations in different geographical areas, you can easily replicate packages on those new sites without wasting a lot of time in developing and implementing new packages again in the system for new sites. TAG solves our problem with tracking and documenting our maintenance and preventative maintenance activities. After implementing TAG, we no longer miss critical preventative maintenance on all of our critical assets. What do you like best about The Asset Guardian?

The work order/preventive maintenance process has improved as a result of using TAG. The maintenance group has better visibility of their scheduled PM and status. The support to get up and running was great as the TAG representative had practical experience and could help guide out setup and which areas of the software would provide the greatest benefit. What do you dislike about The Asset Guardian?

I think the interface with the fixed assets could be a little more robust. However, this is partly because we setup NAV fixed assets first and TAG was added on at a later point so the structure of the data didn't take both needs into consideration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Asset management solutions like TAG are typically targeted at facility managers. TAG with BC involves the entire organization, end to end. This is challenging for small organizations to implement and achieve all objectives quickly. Maybe tier-based versions with fewer features for less sophisticated deployments ? We were the typical silo organization. The goal was maintenance as a service and expanding our electrical testing and using all the data to enhance our offerings. added eGalvanic electrical test forms platform integrated with TAG . Maintenance as a service. Unite Electrical Experts with field collected data and work orders/procedures add asset management plus IOT, meter monitoring and health index and our business transformed. What do you like best about The Asset Guardian?

The product supports at choosen level, the business requirements we have. Its interface has the look and feel of business central and so the users can easily adapt to using the system when jumping from the ERP and TAG. There is a good knowledge about our industry within the system, which makes it possible to use initially our of the box. I am unable to pull KPI graphs out of TAG. Also, when trying to pull a backlog report in Excell it does not seem to really separate all the fields in individual cells
