I mostly use Teamwire for my daily communication with my team and senior devs, and it makes sharing code snippets or sending screenshots of bugs really fast and professional, much easier than writing formal emails for small things. I like that it keeps work and personal life separate with all office chats on Teamwire. The feature I like most is how simple Teamwire is to use, with no learning curve for new joiners. It's so easy to share images and files, especially screenshots of my code errors, which saves a lot of time and reduces ambiguity. The read receipts are also helpful because they let me know if someone is busy, so I can either wait patiently or try to solve things by myself without overthinking. Setting up Teamwire was very easy when I joined the company, with just login details, and I appreciate that I didn't need anyone to show me how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For me, the main thing is that it doesn't connect much with our developer tools. Like we use tools like GitHub and Jira for project management but Teamwire just for simple chatting. It would be really nice if we could get automatic notifications for code updates right in chat. Also the design on desktop apps looks bit outdated. Also sometimes it takes extra few seconds to sync messages from my phone. It's not a big issue but can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
