## Team O'clock Reviews
 ### 1. Lightweight Agile Tool That Just Works – Especially with Slack

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maulik C. | Senior Flutter Developer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Team O’clock is a simple yet powerful tool that helps keep our agile ceremonies on track. One of my favorite features is the Team O’clock bot on Slack, which seamlessly handles our daily standups. As a developer, I love how it prompts us for updates and compiles everyone's responses—no need for extra meetings or chasing updates. It keeps our dev team aligned without disrupting our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

Minor improvements could be made around customizing templates for different ceremonies. Also, while the Slack integration is great, it would be nice to have richer formatting or support for linking tasks directly from our project management tools (we use liner).

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved the issue of missed or unstructured daily updates. With the Slack bot, everyone gets a gentle nudge to share what they're working on, which improves visibility and accountability across the team. It saves us time while keeping our sprint goals in focus.

 ### 2. Great tool to streamline agile processes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Team O'clock simplifies agile ceremonies, making daily standups, retrospectives, and planning poker sessions more efficient and engaging, saving time for my team. Special mention to their Jira integration for the planning poker sessions, which seamlessly connects with our Jira tasks and has eliminated the need for a separate tool.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

The user interface, while comprehensive, can be initially confusing and could have a more intuitive navigation and the Slack integration for daily standups, though effective, could benefit from some enhancements.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to keep our daily standups in sync on Slack and to smoothly run our planning poker sessions through Jira. It made keeping track of everyone's work and our reporting a whole lot easier and more organized.

It's a great way to keep checking in with the team and see what everyone is doing without having to take time to schedule and organize a meeting.

 ### 8. Makes is easy to run valuable retrospectives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Costa C. | Head of Software Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

* We mostly use it for retrospectives, which work very well and are easy to get started with
* The retrospective Action Items are useful
* We like the post retrospective summary email

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

* It would be good to be able to edit the finalized Retrospective Action Items and add more information about them in addition to the title
* It would be good to be able to save decisions made during retrospective and have them listed somewhere

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy to run retrospectives, which means we can focus on the content and improving rather than the process of running a retrospective.

 ### 9. A good tool to improve your team

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

The interface and the cooperative between the team members

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

There are a lot of steps to complete the goal

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The feedback meetings between team members

 ### 10. Efficient Tool for quick standups, easy planning poker and feature-rich retros

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry S. | Projektmanager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

* quick standups, timeboxed for every participant, which increases focus and efficiency
* daily team mood insights
* easy jira integration for estimation

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

There is no standard plan with metrics insights for small teams

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It forces every standup participant to condense the info to a minimum and increases focus and order even for less organized team members

 ### 11. Bad software, encourages bad processes

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Dark mode is the only redeeming quality.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

Encourages pointless and inefficient processes like Planning Poker, Story Pointing, and really horrid suggestions that take time away from creating accurate projections and communicating with the team.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's actually creating problems. It wastes the engineers and the product owner's time.

 ### 12. Increased productivity and saves time! 10/10

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahimul I. | Full Stack Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

I love the way it's perfectly setup to work in a team environment. I've never used similar kind of app. This is so great, that we are engaging more and have knowledge about each other's work.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

I haven't found anything to dislike about. But I think instead of sending emails each time a member updates, there should be one final email thats sent after a certain time has been passed.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work as a team of software engineers and we are trying to keep things more organized, to know what each other's are doing during our each sprint. Things are going really well with this app.

 ### 13. Team Alignment At Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thanos K. | Director of Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Easy to use and slick design. A huge plus is that the product is always improved.
Integration with Slack makes things easier. We are constantly using the daily standup, retrospective and sometimes the planning poker to avoid bias.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

I don't have something to dislike regarding this service. Easy to use and reliable.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been using this for almost 6 years now.

Standup helps us be on time and focused without even trying. No awkward situation where you have to interrupt someone. People are brief, to the point and everyone has the same timeframe to speak. On rare occasions we haven't used it, something was missing.

Regarding retrospectives, no note-taking, especially in remote or semi-remote teams. We have easily facilitated a departmental retro of 20+ people. The custom retrospectives also are a great plus.

These two are things that I cannot think we can do without, now that we've used team O'clock.

 ### 14. Very useful tool for daily standup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sindhu H. | Staff Technical Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Team O'clock will allow a remote working team to share their updates regularly so that the entire group better understands the project status. In addition, if there are any blockers a team member is facing, that can be highlighted in standup.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

We cannot add new colleagues to the group. We cannot change the questions for standup.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management and review on activities what each individual involved

 ### 15. I found team clock on the web, it was the most complete tool I found.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Synara Araujo De Oliveira S. | IT coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Planning Poker is really amazing and very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

I really have nothing to complain about the tool!

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Today I use SCRUM with my team that helps me in all ceremonies. Great! I'm even adhering to the annual plan, because I can't see myself without the tool.

 ### 16. A great option to improve team alignment and performance with well-structured retrospectives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

It helped our team to make a productive retrospective and put down some items that went fine and others that needed improvement. Great vote feature and easy to use!

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

No dislikes so far. I have used it only once. It will take a few minutes to get familiar with it and once there, everything works smoothly.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps our team conduct well-structured retrospectives, get team alignment, follow up on important points from the meeting and improve team performance continuously.

 ### 17. Happy with team o'clock!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

I've used it principally to do planning pokers with my team. I've been amazed by how well it works and the fact that you can do asynchronous planning when you don't have time to do a meeting.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

The free plan might be a little limited to some teams

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said it allowed my team to have asyinchronous planning poker meetings.

 ### 18. Useful tools to organise your software engineering team's work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Gives structure to your agile ceremonies.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

The UI is a bit fiddly sometimes. Would like to know more about all ways possible to use the product.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it easier to run meetings like Retros and Refinements.

 ### 19. Happy with Team O'clock!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

I like how easy the service is to use. We use Microsoft teams and the integration is great. Also, in the past I submitted an enhancement request and the response was very fast and the enhancement was in place within hours! I was very impressed!

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

I see only a few minor things that I don't love.
1 - I am not crazy about the planning poker summary such as "The team has voted for 3 points" -- I would only find that helpful if the entire team pointed as a 3. When it's only the majority that voted for 3, it doesn't matter. We then have discussions to decide which point value to land on. I feel that the summary can be misleading in cases where it wasn't unanimous.
2 - I would love to see options for different pointing methods. In a past pointing tool that I used, you could select from a dropdown "fibonacci, 1-5, 1-10 or Yes/No" and then your setting would default based on the last selection that you made. I do wish that Team o'clock had options other than just Fibonacci.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team O'clock provides an easy way to get a team estimation. In the past, we've had it where people had cameras on and held fingers up to show their point votes but this is much easier and it doesn't allow some people to anchor bias the rest of the team.

 ### 20. It makes teams to move faster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christos A. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

It seems to be a simple tool yet it is powerful enough to enhance communication among the members of any team.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

To be honest I like the whole of it. Lean interface and it does simply work.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I remember valuable to retros because of Team O' Clock orchestration. No hard feelings no difficult conversations.

 ### 21. Very good tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nestoras S. | Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Very good integration with slack and I really like the dynamic retros.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

Everything works very well and I don't have anything to add.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A very good tool to keep your team on the same page.

 ### 22. Taking the fuss out of ceremonies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

It really makes running Agile ceremonies as easy as 1,2,3. The easiness of use is immense and its really fun to use. You get all your ceremony notes in a centralized place. It rocks!!

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

Nothing to see here... Everything works as expected!

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its really easy to hold retrospectives and standups and every note is online for you to check and evaluate

 ### 23. A great tool for planning any kind of project.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan P. | Information Technology Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

This program has many tools for teamwork, is the quick and easy way to organize an event within the company, has basic options that any user can understand, plus its interface is very friendly, this tool has options that facilitate the work.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

I like everything, everything about this tool is excellent, it meets all expectations and I really can't complain about anything.

**Recommendations to others considering Team O'clock:**

No doubt I can recommend it, you can use a free version to try all its functions and know if it is what you are looking for, it does not have a high price either and it fulfills the expected, you can see statistics of the different members and see the events that are carried out.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this tool you can organize any type of event with different employees, it is a good way to communicate and conduct meetings focused on the important issue, it is a good way to not waste time, the best thing is that anyone can use it easily and you do not need to teach anyone how to manage it. Currently it facilitates the creation of projects within the company.

 ### 24. Great app for dev meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhijit G. | Software Developer, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

I like that it is integrated with slack so that we can have everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

There have been times when the system didn't show changes until we refreshed the page.
Sometimes the slack integration doesn't work in which case we have to find alternatives.

**Recommendations to others considering Team O'clock:**

I would give it a try, it definitely saves a lot of time and effort during meetings.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We usually conduct our retrospective meetings and planning meetings on Team O'clock. It is very easy to use and set-up. I really like that everything is later tracked on slack and also available through our profile so we can review meetings.

 ### 25. Great tool for your scrum events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominik E. | Msc., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Our team heavily uses the planning poker and retrospective functionalities of team o'clock. The team really enjoys the custom retrospective functionality and how the whole retrospective feature works in general. Being able to go through the retrospective in multiple clearly defined stages helps us stay on time and focus on what's important during each phase.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

Currently there is nothing I really dislike about the product. One thing I think that can be improved is the permission system. I think a more fine grained permissions system would benefit the product overall especially on a team-level basis.

**Recommendations to others considering Team O'clock:**

I can really only recommend to try out the retrospective feature of team o'clock.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Team-O'clock to improve our scrum events. We improved the focus during our retrospectives a lot and the planning poker is also very nice for as, as we work with a rather large scrum team and having physical cards would be quite bothersome.

 ### 26. Great tool for PMs working with remote teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

I like that it integrates easily with Slack which is the main communication tool in my organisation. Using Slack commands I can start meetings. What is more those meetings don't require that much facilitation from me - most of the work is done by the tool, notes are published after the meeting and action points are tracked.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

Sometimes when I export a pdf with notes from the meeting some polish characters are not exported correctly.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have more time to do meaningful work, because notes from meetings are done & saved w/o my involvement. I can focus more on being part of the meeting rather than on facilitating it.

 ### 27. Great experience during the retrospective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

I love the dynamics of the "session", I know about our progress, I know who are we waiting for, I can see everything changing in the real-time - it helps me to get the most out of the entire retrospective experience.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

There's not a lot of customization available at the moment, like the number of votes to be used (3 is the default, but for bigger sessions, we would need more)

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Team O'clock to get the team on the same page, to talk about the progress and challenges.

 ### 28. Great for sprint retros and poker planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Team O'clock?**

Perfect integration with Slack which accelerates greatly first sprints without a need to setup anything.

**What do you dislike about Team O'clock?**

Not that much. Everything works very well.

**What problems is Team O'clock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT related project. Accelerated project's first sprint and attitude in the team due to the very nice user experience.
