I was launching my first startup and was looking for a AI-native team messenger that is able to offload some of my mental burden of remembering work details. And I have a lot of external communications so my work messages are all over the places from WhatsApp to Telegram and Slack. So I needed a place where it can aggregate all messages easily, and at the same then leverage AI to organize and surface my day-to-day knowledge proactively, without the context switching of frequently copying and pasting prompts and answers across messaging apps and AI assistants. I was also looking for reducing my wasted time on answer repetitive questions, if the messenger tool can RAG my company knowledge base and answer them (semi-)automatically. Tanka satisfies most of my above requirements and our small team has been Tanka's happy free users for a few months now, using it on a daily basis. Their customer support is approachable and offers very user-friendly demo walkthroughs. The free pilot plan is generous and is easy for instant quick onboarding. **What do you dislike about Tanka?** There's a lot of integrations that Tanka needs to work on, such as Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, and video conferencing tools such as Zoom and Google Meet. They are critical knowledge workflows, and are important inputs for Tanka's memory layer. I am also missing the emojis, customized GIPHY, and thread replies in Slack. Hope they will soon add them to their feature roadmap. **What problems is Tanka solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tanka is building personalized memory banks for team, so that they can send context-aware AI smart replies and leverage AI knowledge on demand within the chat platform. It helps preserving insitutional knowledge which is the most valuable asset of a company. With Tanka, we can just upload the knowledge docs into Tanka and let our new hires chat with AI. Team members can also use Tanka to craft professional responses when they struggle to find the right words. I feel this is raising the bar of a company's average IQ and EQ in terms of their daily communication. ### 2. The smart reply feature is a game-changer! I integrated tanka with my emails and whatsapp so I no longer have to switch between multiple apps just to respond to messages—Tanka lets me reply directly, saving me so much time. 2. I also love the Memory Tab. It gives me a daily summary, to-dos, and recaps in one place, which means I don’t have to manually track everything myself. The accuracy is impressive—I can trust it to remind me of key discussions and action items without digging through past conversations. 3. Plus the interface is very simple and easy to use! **What do you dislike about Tanka?** I wish customization options were more flexible. While Tanka is great at organizing information, sometimes I want to adjust how my Memory Tab is structured. Efortlessly recalls previous decisions. The interface could better hightlight features, such as how t interact with the AI assistant. Facilitates remote team aligment by providing easy accesss to prior discussions, eliminating those "where was that decision made?" instances. **What do you dislike about Tanka?** The interface can be better, such as interactions with the AI assistant.Also plain text is NOT that intuitive. **What problems is Tanka solving and how is that benefiting you?** It aids in synchronizing our remote team by providing easy access to previous discussions. ### 4. Compared to other products, it requires minimal knowledge to achieve satisfactory results, and there's no need to instruct it every time **What do you dislike about Tanka?** The web version cannot be displayed in full screen on the large screen, making the display area somewhat small **What problems is Tanka solving and how is that benefiting you?** First, it solves the problem of switching between various AI applications while needing to teach the AI and fill in prompts. This assistant with long-term memory can directly provide assistance later. Internal promotion in my company has brought good work efficiency ### 5.
