**What do you like best about Synder?**

I can forget about collecting data from Stripe or PayaPal and have it entered into quickbooks for me! We get lots of small donations that would take forever to get into QB. Not anymore. I just sit back and watdh the funds come in then get transferred to the bank.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

Wish I had more control over payment inforation that was gathered and the ability to update a custome filed in QB. Maybe I do... maybe i need to explore that.

**What do you like best about Synder?**

Once synder is setup, the complex work is automatically done and you can forget about it. If there is an issue, it's super easy to trouble shoot the problem and re-sync your transactions.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

The downsides of Synder might be the pricing model for the rules. I believe you have to pay extra per rule. I'd like to create a few more but prefer not to pay extra per month.

It is helping me catergorize my processing fees. It also allows me to automacationall apply loan payments to my balance sheet for any finance paydown transactions.

**What do you like best about Synder?**

I love that I can completely automate the entire process of reconciling my transactions through Authorize.Net. Our company works on both an invoice model and a payment-on-demand model. This integration helped us to focus on our invoicing customers by automating the entire process of our on-demand payments by bringing these transactions into our Quickbooks. It pulls the transactions and settlements (which is optional) into their platform. You can review it if you'd like or have it auto-sync from your payment gateway into your accounting software. I want to note that Snyder will sync transactions from Authorize.Net into Quickbooks by generating a Sales Receipt within Quickbooks. They offer rules that allow you to make changes based on specific actions or activities, which is nice, so there may be ways to adjust how these are imported into Quickbooks, but for us, the Sales Receipts work well. Their free trial and trial syncs are a great way to test how their integration will work for you and your workflow, and their customer service is truly amazing!

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

The number of syncs they offer per tier may be a bit low. They push you to pay for their more expensive tiers, which I completely understand! I wish it were easier to customize how many syncs you need per tier, especially if you don't need many other features.

**What problems is Synder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snyder is helping us reduce the manual work involved with importing and recording our on-demand payments for services we provide. We used to have to export these transactions from Authorize.Net, import them into Quickbooks as payments, sit on them until we would issue an invoice for the primary customer, adjust that invoice to match the total on-demand payments, and then apply those numerous payments to one invoice. Having multiple unapplied payments caused a lot of issues, and was hard to keep up with. It made it difficult to catch duplicates that may have been uploaded. This method also didn't work with our other Accounts Receivable software, and that's when we knew it was time to find a better solution for this process, and Snyder helped us with that!

I have been using Synder for integraions for a while now and the product is great and support is great too. I had an issue with an integration and Sophie was able to quickly resolve the issue in the chat support and get us back up and running. Great support and saves so much time using the program.

For several years, I have been manually balancing my Stripe account in Quickbooks manually and there was always an issue. Synder makes it stupid simple. It saves me hours per week.

I understood it fairly quickly from the start but I do think a better guided walk-through could be helpful.

One of the best experiences I've had with any company. Synder fully automates all your sales entries and associated costs directly into QuickBooks seamlessly.

This is a major time saver for us and correctly setting up clearing accounts to deal with all our sales receipts, payment partner expenses and payouts is literally a dream. Fully aotmated now.

I cannot recommend this service highly enough and although we had some difficulty during setup as we have quite a uniqe WooCommerce multisite, George in support was brilliant in constantly communicating and keeping our case up to date right until the final resolution.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

Really so far its a great service so not much to dislike, the UI can feel a bit overwhelming but for what it does I can fully understand.

Correctly account for our sales and the relevant expenses applied by our payment processor as well as all the related sales tax associated with each product.

Whilst the service works for the most part, there are inherant flaws and getting support for these issues can at times be nothing short of a nightmare.  It can save you time, which you pay quite a lot for.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

My accountant is currently takling with their senior tech support due to incorrectly syncing transactions, which has been a ballace to resolve.

The way they charge is a nightmare too.

Don't expect a quick or easy resolution to getting a refund when their payment processor forces you to make multiple payments in order use the service you've already paid an excessive amount for.

Apparently it was an "accidental error by our Payment Processor". After hours spent trying to resolve the issue, it's now been over a week and I'm now being passed to the management team for the 2nd time to get the issue resolved. Whether or not this time I am, I'm not sure.

What was previously a good experience with this company is starting to sour. Don't often leave reviews, but wanted to leave an honest account of my experiences.

I'm doubtful I'll get a satisfactory resolution to this issue which is sad.

There are so many nuances in Shopify it is very hard to capture them all.

We need to have the infomation summarized daily for our clients and Synder does this most easily.  Having every sales receipt in our accounts was resulting in 2-3 hours of work weekly to reconcile.  The Daily Summary style creates a much manageable amount of information to sift through.

**What do you like best about Synder?**

Using Synder to import all our Amazon sales transactions into our accounting software alleviated hours of manual order and expense data entry, streamlined our monthly reconciliation process and eliminated many data entry errors resulting from Amazon's complex reporting systems. The program's default template options seemed very well thought-out and tied out to Amazon's reporting layout, and I also like that we can create custom rules to map and customize the transactions to our unique GL and reporting needs. Synder's customer support chat platform is also top-notch! Regardless of the issue or the time of day, I've found their support team to be knowledgeable and polite, and it seems like someone is always there and ready to help answer questions and work through issues quickly. For example, Pauline helped me with an import & sync issue late one evening, and she even hung out with me until it was resolved. Then there was Vilena, who was there to answer my billing and subscription questions and then went one step further and came up with a better solution for us, which totally made my day!

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

The program did tend to bog down and eventually stop working when I had a relatively large volume of historical transactions to import and sync, so I had to scale back and work with the data in smaller time-period chunks.  I also wish I could sort the order of the transactions on the data review Platform.

Amazon has a very complex reporting and inventory tracking system. As a rapidly-growing start-up with a small team all working overtime to make big things happen, Synder has made it possible for us to have more accurate and timely sales data and reports so we can continue to grow this side of our business.

**What do you like best about Synder?**

Synder helps me focus on the other essential aspects of my business while the accounting side can run smoothly without me having to check on transactions being synced every hour of the day. It's just a fantastic tool! Plus, their customer service has always been ultra-friendly AND available for me. I've had numerous (small) issues and questions in the past when I started integrating all my marketplaces on Synder (1x Amazon account, 3x Shopify account, 3x Paypal accounts...) but all of those issues/questions were handled by their support team very quickly. Thanks to Vita for taking time to get on a Zoom call so we could fix the ongoing issues I had with some transactions. The software works very well, but sometimes it's the settings you've selected that make the syncs fail, and it's not Synder's fault.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

We own 3 brands, and I use a feature that adds Quickbooks "classes" to my transactions to classify each brand's sales. I pay Synder extra for a rule system that makes it possible to classify my transactions automatically. It works well 90% of the time (except for refunds transaction types), and I wish I wouldn't have to pay extra for that. Using QBO's class system should be included in the basic pricing, and not something I have to set up manually via their "custom rules" settings.

Synder helps me sync e-commerce transactions between my different stores and my accounting software (Quickbooks Online). It helps automate my accounting department.

**What do you like best about Synder?**

I love only having one app to connect all my channels (and only paying for one too). It is pretty intuitive (although I had an appointment for onboarding, so that's nice if you are not sure of the settings). It also works well and makes life much more straightforward. Plus, the smart rules can help out tremendously with deeper categorization.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

I can't say I haven't encountered any bugs, though - For example, I've had mistakes in my syncs; all I have to do in this situation is roll back and re-sync. Or occasional duplicate transactions are found during reconciliation, and that's not a huge problem either.

**What problems is Synder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synder makes recording transactions simple, and that is a huge time saver.  I've been using it for a while, and they are constantly updating and improving it (so there are fewer bugs).  Their support is also very, very good, quick, and personal - Thank you, Renata, for your help!

Synder allows the syncing of detailed transactions into Quickbooks desktop from ecommerce shops - not just a summary of the day offered by the competitors.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

The only downfall is data mapping of products. We need to use the variation of the item instead of the item name. We sell apparel - the item name might be Red TShirt but the variation is what we inventory. Size Small, Size Medium, Size Large etc. The code is already there as you can map certain fields already - for example shipping.  I would like to be able to say use variation from Square to map to Item in Quickbooks Desktop. We still save a lot of time by not having to enter everything - and all of the details are recorded into the correct accounts on quickbooks.

**What problems is Synder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For small business to compete we have to be online - customers want the convenience of shopping from home. The overhead to put your brick and mortar online is exhausting - and then to have to get all of the sales into your books just adds more work. We use opencart for pop-up sales - and our payment options are Square and Paypal - both handled by Synder. This software automates the import of these transactions with 99% accuracy!

I had been downloading transaction reports from my payment gateway and uploading them into QBO monthly, which required the use of a third party application, and the creation of multiple CSV files to upload fees, payments on sales invoices, payouts, refunds, etc.  Synder replaced all this with a 5-minute simple setup and labor-free, real-time sync after that.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

Although it is possible to set Synder up so that sales are attributed to a  Generic Customer in QBO, there can still be customer-specific data in the Description field.  We need a way to make that field generic too.

**What problems is Synder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By providing an easy and accurate way to transfer accounting information from our eCommerce platforms and payment gateways, Synder is improving our financial reporting quality and saving labor costs.

I needed something that could help me reconcile paid inv from a different app to payments received through stripe. This has been very helpful. I had a question and their customer service rep, Andrew, was very helpful!

Awesome service and the support team know their stuff! I had a nightmare finding a platform which could sync our WooCommerce sales and transactions from 3 different payment gateways and after a dreadful experience with a different company, I tried Synder as a last attempt before outsourcing our bookkeeping needs.

It has made my life so easy! All transactions and fees are imported with no issues. I needed to migrate my subscription to a different account after an issue at the beginning with our QuickBooks Online account and I was so impressed at how quick Andrey got this done. All sorted on live chat in less than 2 minutes - really glad I chose Synder!

I don't have any issues with Synder, it's working great for me.

And...when I have trouble, their tech support is great! Always available and very helpful - especially if you can work with Andrey! :)

Synder is a highly specialized software solution for payment processor integrations into accounting software.  They are highly responsive to customer support requests, are continually seeking to better their product, often taking direct queues from customer feedback or requests.  Sign into your payment processors (Stripe, Square, etc..), sign into your accounting software and then sit back and relax as all of your sales data, credit card processing fees, customer records, invoices and auto-matched payouts are synced to and perfectly organized and categorized in your books.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

UPDATE:2022 - All throughout this year, Synder has continually modified it's plans, removing or reducing core features and bumped up pricing.  Even if you paid for an annual subscription in full, the features that you were sold were taken away from you mid-year and the ability to customize your plans sync totals have been completed eliminated which forces you to upgrade to a much more expensive plan, bloated with unecessary features (for many small businesses) just to get the additional monthly syncs that you used to be able to upgrade your monthly plan to for much more economical rates.

Books that accurately reflect gross sales and expensing that accurately reflects credit card processing fees.

Accounting for business with an online shopping cart that utilizes multiple payment processors was an absolute nightmare until I found Synder. The setup is remarkably easy once you understand how the platform integrates and you take the time before you start syncing. In general, support has been amazingly responsive since the beginning and today Felix quickly helped me untangle the mess that I made.

The initial account login setup was confusing because I thought I needed an Accountant profile and ended up with a bunch of duplicate accounts. Felix, in support helped me clean that up. I also wish that the free trial was 30 days. It takes some time to get the hang of it enough to make a solid choice.

What I like about Snyder is the idea of Snyder automating transactions from different platforms. It is amazing! that would be and is difficult for a small business owner to do who also has a lot of transactions and to hire a bookkeeper to do it would be extremely costly. 

I was also very appreciative that I ended up having a customer service Rep named Felix who was amazing. He was so helpful, he asked questions to make sure that we were on the same page and he was answering my question. He provided screenshots with arrows and instructions to provide better clarity. I explained an issue or something I was concerned about he identified it as a historical import and showed me how to do it and then also said he could do it for me as well. 

I am very grateful for this since I have recently had surgery and everything as of late has seemed like a huge task. I can't thank Felix enough for the time and the effort and the extra mile he put into providing the best customer service I've had thus far from Snyder!

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

I think it is a bit complicated for a novice like me. I also wish they could automate transactions directly and categorize from your business bank account. ie: checks. ach deposits. credits etc

**What do you like best about Synder?**

Synders program was exactly what I was looking for. We use Stripe for processing our CCs, but I was driving myself nuts trying to reconcile each month because of the fees they take out prior to releasing our clients payments. Synder streamlined that all for me and tracked the Stripe fees separately while allowing my invoices to match up with payments. There was a bit of a learning curve to set up and some patience so I knew where Synder was putting everything in QBs, but once I trusted it, the syncs are so easy to do. I would say it cuts my time spent on this part of bookkeeping by 98%. I can’t wait to link it to my Amazon business account to track their fees and split up payments as well. (I would like it if it could link Amazon accounts, not just Amazon business accounts.) 

Often times software is frat but the customer service falls short. This is NOT the case with Synder. Their customer service is great. They are very responsive, timely in their responses and will help you get the answer you need if you can’t figure someone out on your own. They seem always happy to help. 


**What do you dislike about Synder?**

- Setup initially takes some time, as it’s not intuitive unless you have some time to concentrate, but any issues, customer was very quick to help. 
- I’d like the unused syncs each month to roll over. I didn’t realize this and got a month behind initially thinking I’d just catch up, so I lost the opportunity to use last months syncs when the transactions came in a month ago. 
- I would like it if we could link general Amazon accounts, not just Amazon business accounts
- I’d like a mid-level payment or new company tier. We’re a new startup, so the $39.99/mth or 500 transactions per month level is too rich for us at this time. Hands down once we can afford it, it’d definitely be worth it!

I wish that the transaction numbers were a little more user-friendly. I assume its for security, but they look very long-almost like auto-generated passwords.

The free integration between square and QBO had terrible reviews. So, I went looking for an alternative and found Snyder. Without this integration I wouldn't be able to the breakdown of Sales, Taxes, Square Fees, Credit Card Processing, etc. It also matches with our inventory in QBO. It really is the bridge between our physical store(Square Cash Register) and our online Bookkeeping.

Synder enables me to integrate WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, and QuickBooks to automate my accounting rather than having to manually process transactions. This will save me a considerable amount of time each month.

**What do you dislike about Synder?**

I had trouble onboarding because the app created my account by pulling in my QuickBooks credentials rather than the email I specified for my Synder account. This caused a whole chain of events resulting in the sync not working correctly. However, the support was awesome, and Renata helped me correct the underlying problem and get me up and running.

**Recommendations to others considering Synder:**

I would recommend Synder to anyone using a similar setup as mine, with a need to integrate WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, and QuickBooks Online.

**What problems is Synder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was having to do a lot of manual labor to categorize transactions, but Synder resolves that problem for me. It syncs my WooCommerce shop with Stripe and QuickBooks to enable me fully automate the categorization of shop transactions. It replaces the default PayPal app I was using with QuickBooks so that now I can have those transactions automatically categorized, too. I expect Synder to pay for itself over time with the manual labor it saves me from having to do.

Had issues with setup. Also was confused by why it would be necessary to  "upgrade" from a basic subscription. Took a few days to iron out the kinks but everything appears to be working smoothly now.

Integrating transactions between QBO, Stripe, and my bank. Previously had issues with sales tax calculations and reporting. Synder provides the integration functionality I need. It's too soon to tell how it's benefitting the business but I feel more secure knowing that when I pull reports the data will be accurate.
