I had little hope after evaluating several apps, until Synder; well to be accurate, the Synder app is excellent because it is supported by an extraordinary support staff. We had the pleasure working with Helen & Ted, and an equally competent dev team, and at admittedly ungodly late hours at night and really early in the morning. Talk about patience, knowledge, and extraordinary turn around. These super heroes solved what I have been painstakingly doing with a ridiculously elaborate import routine via Excel and Saas. They actually understood what I was describing, they get the prize, no other app support team really has, and their dev team literally contacted us to make sure our mapping remained intact after they created customized solutions for a few issues between a Friday and Monday, THEN asked if they could assist us if we were not confident in proceeding early Monday afternoon--Wow. I'm a longtime accountant and have not had an experience really like this. It was as if Synder were literally in the next cubicle working for the same company. She suggested a group Zoom call with my bookkeeper to show us how to set everything up correctly. As Sasha was away when I was free for the call, Helen took the Zoom call instead. Helen was very helpful in showing us what settings and changes we needed to make. This will save my bookkeeper from doing a lot of manual work. **What do you dislike about Synder?** I wasn't able to see Helen on video during the Zoom call, due to a technical issue. They also have multiple classes, invoicing, and inventory needs. So far Synder seems to integrate the product line sale detail well (including class sale data for easier KPI and profit per unit analysis). I am hopeful that the inventory sync between Square and QBO will be just as easy. Support is responsive; today I got immediate help from Kiryl, who knew exactly what my problem was and helped me to solve it in less than 3 minutes. **What do you dislike about Synder?** That every move of transactions is a "sync cost" against your subscription limit. For example, I have been moving one client away from his own bookkeeping (that did not go well in a QBO) into a new account. I wanted to move the Synder subscription from the old account to the new QBO connection. Though I was told by Synder staff that we could migrate the subscription to the new QBO file, apparently that did NOT include the thousands of previous transaction syncs that he paid for since January 2021. His subscription limit of 1000 transactions means I either have to take several months to migrate the old transactions (keeping under his monthly subscription limit), or he has to pay for my syncs. Another example is the issue I had today, which is that I had inadvertently missed an important setup step for locations. I'm faced now with telling my client that he has to pay for more syncs than his monthly limit (undoing my mistake), or I have to take time to correct each transaction in the QBO file. I feel that at least there should be a setting up "grace period" for transactions as users get the set up correct. **What problems is Synder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Class integration is almost nonexistent in other apps; Synder helps solve product class and inventory issues for my food services clients. ### 22. I was able to go back to the beginning of the year (~ 5 months) and sync all the transactions and match everything in QBO and reconcile the account within a few hours. Currently I have only set up Stripe, but I like that we can handle more platforms if needed. **What do you dislike about Synder?** The only downside was paying for the higher priced plan for the first month to be able to import historical transactions...but fair enough because we were paying the monthly fee for those months.
