What I liked best about Symba was the platform's intuitive design and professional look, which made it easy to use. Additionally, the Symba team was a highlight of the experience—they provided excellent support, hosted regular check-ins, and helped us explore new features to maximize the tool's potential. Their commitment to solving issues collaboratively ensured we always felt supported. **What do you dislike about Symba?** However, a key challenge for us was the lack of integration with our HR system, Workday. While this limitation stemmed from our company's internal constraints rather than Symba's capabilities, it caused some confusion for new hires about when to use Symba versus Workday. Overall, Symba is a great platform for communication management, but its effectiveness may depend on your ability to integrate it with other key systems. **What problems is Symba solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the main challenges Symba helped us address was implementing and automating performance evaluations for our interns and their managers. With a population of over 500 interns annually, all starting on varying dates, managing evaluations manually had been a significant burden on our team. Symba's platform eliminated this complexity by automating the process at key intervals—beginning, mid-point, and end of the internship. This automation not only ensured timely evaluations but also saved our team substantial time and effort, allowing us to focus on providing a better overall experience for both interns and managers. ### 2. Great platform and incredible customer support! **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025 **What do you like best about Symba?** -Incredibly responsive and innotative product team, and phenomenal customer support. -The platform acts as a one-stop-shop for incoming early career hires/students -Works particularly well for companies who hire interns but do not grant them full access to internal systems (company email, shared folders, etc), as Symba allows for file sharing and project work within the tool **What do you dislike about Symba?** Symba does not have a mobile app The Project Management section of Symba is very high level, and limits the building of detailed project plans for interns. **What problems is Symba solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our internship programs are not a one size fits all, so we needed a tool that would allow us to group incoming interns according to office location, business department, etc. We then needed to communicate differently to each of those groups.
