I love the AI feature in SurveyMonkey that allows me to take a few brainstormed questions, copy and paste them, and then have SurveyMonkey create the survey for me automatically. It's pretty easy to use, and I like how it creates the survey so I just need to refine each question. The logic feature is also very beneficial as it helps to delve deeper into specific answers to questions and understand particular customer needs. Additionally, I enjoy the analyze feature, especially how SurveyMonkey presents the data with bar graphs and custom results, making it easier to spot trends and understand customer demographics. It is easy to use and very user-friendly. We use SurveyMonkey every day for our market research, both on mobile phones when conducting interviews and for surveys sent out by email. It is quick to set up a survey, easy to use different types of logic, and simple to export the data to SPSS or Excel for further analysis. This makes it a very practical tool for our day-to-day work. There are two features we would really like to see improved. We often use SurveyMonkey on mobile phones when conducting interviews in public places, and it would be very useful to be able to use surveys offline when the internet connection is poor or unavailable.

I find it very easy to use, and I really like how it automatically suggests the kinds of answers I should include for each question. I also appreciate having different views, along with the option to export to Excel. Another feature I like is that I can copy entire surveys and customize the link name to fit what I need. I’m not a fan of the dashboard feature because it isn’t very intuitive, and after a while I stopped trying to use it. My biggest complaint, though, is the export to Excel feature. I really like having the option to export, but it still takes me a long time to turn the raw data into something that’s actually usable. In particular, I don’t like how multiple-choice questions come through in the export. The price is also high for users like me who usually only does 3-5 surveys per year. The thing I like the least about SurveyMonkey is that when you share a survey through their email share feature, it often ends up in members' junk mailbox. I don't like the fact that if I have more than one laptop, the license is linked so strongly to one end user device. I mean, I have several end user devices when at work—one in my home office—and I would want to just have my user account as a committed account and not have to go through registering devices over and over again. Occasionally our team is trying to do something a bit more nuanced with piping answer sets into future questions and there have been one or two times that we haven't been able to do exactly what we wanted to.
