"Splashtop Makes Remote IT Support Fast and Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

Splashtop absolutely is great for my remote IT support needs. It allows me to easily connect to my conference room PC's, user devices, and provide remote support to iOS devices to help field users work through their app issues. The built in file transfer feature is great along with the ability to pass through UAC prompts and save my credentials for quick autofill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

I just wish Splashtop has more integration when connecting so I don't have to input AzureAD as the domain every single time. I also wish it support SCIM for SSO functionality. It seems very clunky for my end users who use the remote access licenses to log into Splashtop on their home devices to access PC's at the office. The single sign on button is small and easily missed. I would LOVE if Splashtop could connect to my Intune environment and automatically retrieve users who are signed in so I can search by the users name vs just having to know the device name they are using Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Easy to Use, and an Excellent Investment for IT Departments"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

As the Technology Director for a K-12 school, I’m responsible for supporting hundreds of computers across our campus, and Splashtop Business has become one of the most valuable tools in our IT department. We currently maintain a paid license that covers 600 devices, and I’ve been extremely pleased with the overall experience.

The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. I like that I can quickly find a specific computer, start a remote connection, and begin troubleshooting without having to work through a bunch of unnecessary steps. When you’re managing technology for an entire school, simplicity and efficiency really matter.

Splashtop also fits smoothly into our existing IT environment and day-to-day support workflows. Being able to remotely access staff computers without asking someone to bring a device to my office or having to walk across campus has been a huge time-saver. It lets me resolve many issues within minutes while keeping disruptions to classroom instruction and staff productivity to a minimum.

Performance has been excellent. Connections are typically fast, responsive, and stable, to the point that it often feels like I’m sitting right in front of the computer. Whether I’m troubleshooting software, adjusting settings, or helping a staff member, the experience stays consistently smooth.

From a pricing perspective, I think Splashtop offers outstanding value. Considering the number of devices we support and the time we save by handling issues remotely, the return on investment is significant. For a school working within a limited technology budget, having a dependable solution that doesn’t come with an unreasonable price tag is a major advantage.

Getting started was straightforward, and the platform has remained easy to manage as our needs have grown. I haven’t had to rely on extensive technical assistance just to keep things running, which says a lot about how well the product is designed.

While AI capabilities aren’t necessarily what I’m looking for in a remote access solution, I do appreciate software that prioritizes reliability, ease of use, and practical functionality over unnecessary bells and whistles. Splashtop does exactly that. I’d certainly welcome intelligent features that could streamline troubleshooting in the future, but the core functionality already delivers what I need.

Overall, Splashtop Business has made managing and supporting our school’s technology significantly easier. It’s one of those tools I genuinely rely on and wouldn’t want to be without. I highly recommend it to other school technology directors, IT departments, and organizations that need dependable remote access at a reasonable cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

While my overall experience with Splashtop Remote Support has been extremely positive, there are a couple of issues that have been frustrating, particularly when managing a large number of devices in a busy IT environment.

The biggest issue I've encountered involves the Splashtop desktop application occasionally freezing after a remote session times out or disconnects due to inactivity. When this happens, the main application window that displays all my managed computers becomes completely unresponsive. The only way I've found to resolve it is to open Windows Task Manager, force-close the Splashtop application, and then reopen it. It's not a major issue in terms of functionality, but it becomes frustrating when you're working through multiple support requests and need to move quickly between devices. Ideally, a session timeout should simply close that particular session without affecting the main application.

Another area that could use improvement is the remote wake-up functionality. In our environment, the wake-up command has been inconsistent and doesn't always successfully wake devices that are powered off or asleep. I recognize that Wake-on-LAN functionality can depend on hardware, network configurations, and device power settings, so I can't necessarily attribute every failure directly to Splashtop. However, from a practical standpoint, it hasn't been reliable enough for me to depend on it as a consistent remote management feature.

I would also like to see better diagnostic feedback when a remote wake-up attempt fails. Being able to determine whether the command was actually delivered, whether the device responded, or whether a network or configuration issue prevented it from working would make troubleshooting much easier.

Neither of these issues is significant enough to change my overall positive opinion of Splashtop. The platform still provides tremendous value for our organization, and I would absolutely recommend it. However, improving the desktop application's stability following session timeouts and making remote wake-up functionality more reliable would make an already excellent product even better. "Convenient SSO, Fast File Transfers, and Responsive Splashtop Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

The Single Sign On (SSO) feature is very convenient given that I use Splashtop mainly to access my local hosted servers and VMs hosted through Azure. Additionally the UI/UX for transferring files from my regular workspace computer to the servers and VMs is very user friendly, and the file transfer performance is great! When I first starting using the Splashtop platform I was brand new to it, and I was having some issues getting connected to my servers and VMs, and the Splashtop Support staff was very easy to work with and address my issues in a very timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

Overall if I am being honest, I was very combative and displeased when I was presented with Splashtop being the only way to access my servers and VMs in my workplace at first; but now after a few months of regular use of the platform I know and understand why my employer has chosen this platform for how we/I use it. Which I can only assume that when comparing the pricing of the use of the platform with the benefits and/or ROI that my employer has over other options they are very pleased and I am as well. "Recorded Sessions and Multitasking Make Support a Breeze"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like that Splashtop Remote Support lets me be in multiple places and on multiple devices at the same time. Since we’re small and wear a lot of hats, being able to multitask is awesome. My favorite feature is recorded sessions. If I can’t resolve an issue, I can hand the recording off to higher-tier support so they can visually see the problem and give me steps to troubleshoot further. The initial setup was very simple. What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

Nothing stands out as not working well. The only thing I think could be improved is copying and pasting information. “Paste clipboard as keystrokes” works fine, but it could be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Easy Remote Support—with Occasional Connection Delays"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like how easy it is to connect remotely to a user's computer, see the problem firsthand, and troubleshoot it directly. Seeing what’s happening makes it faster to diagnose and resolve issues, especially when a user has trouble explaining the problem, and helps reduce miscommunication. I can support users across different locations without being onsite, which means faster response times, less travel, less downtime, and users get back to work sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

I haven’t had many issues with Splashtop Remote Support. Occasionally, getting a remote session connected takes a little longer than expected, especially when there are network or connectivity issues on the user’s end. I’d like more consistent connections and an easier way to troubleshoot failed connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Support Assist Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like the ability to have the monitors in the same window, or for each screen. It allows for each team member to work in a way that is most efficient for them. We do not pay for AEM, but when we were onboarding and had the free trial, it was nice to see some things that were caught compared to other systems we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

Lately I have noticed a delay when trying to connect to user devices. We used splashtop at my previous job as well, and it seemed to connect faster there. At the previous job as well, I had issues with splashtop crashing, but that has not occurred recently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Secure Remote Support—Though Screen Sharing Can Lag"
4/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I like that Splashtop Remote Support makes it quick and easy to access desktops and help someone, whether the session is attended or unattended. I can manage file sharing, pull files from anywhere, and quickly find a machine using the list of users and their computers. It feels secure with the guard rails it has, and deploying it with GPO or an RMM tool is easy. It has plenty of features, scales well, and gives us vulnerability information we can use to assess our security posture. The initial setup was great and really quick; we were able to deploy it with NinjaOne in about a day. Cost, ease of use, and not being locked into a contract were also reasons we switched from TeamViewer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

I sometimes have issues with how long it takes to change screens. The video streaming feels a little heavier than other options. Sometimes being far away from the machine is taxing on either the network or the protocol Splashtop Remote Support uses. I’d also like a fresher look for the client and host software; it’s been a while since it’s been refreshed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Remote Support That Helps Us Work Faster and Costs Less"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

I enjoy the software and ease of use. Being able to do certain things like reboot, refresh the steamer, and see certain statuses quickly helps me support my end users. The price was also a factor, being cheaper than some of the "bigger" software platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

The only thing I could complain about is sometimes the remote takes a long time to load. If I'm on a different network then my clients, sometimes I have to connect to their network to get on the remote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Convenient, Easy-to-Use Workflow for Faster IT Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Support?

One of the most useful use cases for me is quickly confirming whether an employee is in the office by checking the WAN IP address. As soon as I see our local office IP, I know I can assist them in person instead of going back and forth through a ticket. It’s also very easy to use the integration in the UI to pull up these details when I need them. Overall, it’s a very convenient workflow for me as an IT Support Technician. It also is very useful for setting up new computers remotely for support. I have not seen much AI slop and I appreciate that for onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Support?

Some of the interfaces seem a bit outdated. Pricing could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
