This coherent system allows one to track the availability and competence of the staff for staffing and efficient payroll processing based on worked hours. **What do you dislike about SmartLinx?** The ability to provide detailed reports with filter options if SmartLinx provided more simple-to-use reporting options. Trying to obtain particular data one has to export data into spreadsheets and work with it using the mouse and keyboard. **What problems is SmartLinx solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have had some problems with SmartLinx, though it has made my work easier by performing most of the HR tasks. I like in the older version how it had the quarterly and monthly OT amounts that could be adjusted by the date. Now, I have to run adhoc reports but I don' how to configure the formulas and filters. I wish smartlinx 6 was as clear as the old version. **What problems is SmartLinx solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ad-Hoc reports are hard to run and figure out. ### 7. It allows for our supervisors to clearly view PTO information and avoid authorizing too many vacations within a department at once. Management is able to input labor budgets and produce variance reports to indicate whether the actual labor is close to the budgeted hours. Overall, our internal controls are stronger with this product. ### 9. It would be easier if that was shown somewhere instead. **Recommendations to others considering SmartLinx:** This is an app and a website so employees can use both. **What problems is SmartLinx solving and how is that benefiting you?** This benefits us because we have everything in one place. No need going to different programs or apps.
