**What do you like best about ShowMyPC?**

What I like most about ShowMyPC is how simple and easy it is to use. Starting a remote session is very straightforward, without having to go through a complicated setup process. Sharing access with a one-time code is fast and works reliably, which is especially helpful when you’re assisting someone who isn’t very technical. For basic remote support and screen sharing, it delivers exactly what I need, without extra features or unnecessary complications.

**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

ShowMyPC works well for basic use, but it can feel somewhat limited compared to more advanced remote access tools. Options such as advanced file transfer, session management, and more detailed security controls are fairly minimal. The interface also comes across as a bit outdated. That said, for quick, simple remote sessions, these limitations are generally manageable.

**What problems is ShowMyPC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ShowMyPC addresses the need for quick remote access without requiring lengthy installations or complicated configuration. Before I started using it, walking users through steps over the phone was time-consuming and often inefficient. With ShowMyPC, I can identify and resolve issues much faster by sharing the screen directly. Overall, it has helped me cut down resolution time, communicate more clearly during troubleshooting, and make remote assistance far more convenient.

Show my pc is an reliable remote access tool which have a smooth performance and didn't lag at all.

The downside its cost of usage which in my opinion is bit high.

**What do you like best about ShowMyPC?**

One of the best things which I personally liked about ShowMyPc is holistic availability, i.e it is available in all the platforms including Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS. It is simple to use, first download the server from ShowMyPC website. Through this application, you can share files and also communicate with your peer and friends.

**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

One of the problems which I came across was the application was getting crashed frequently. The application must come up with an update and fix it immediately.

**Recommendations to others considering ShowMyPC:**

Quite a good remote sharing application for an SME. It is quite easy to use and yes definitely efficient.

**What problems is ShowMyPC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ShowMyPc primarily allows personal branding which is remarkable. Currently, we are all undergoing the effects of a pandemic resulting in lockdown, through these hard times ShowMyPc makes lives easier by remotely sharing screens. Customer service also helped me in solving technical issues, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

**What do you like best about ShowMyPC?**

What I like most about ShowMyPC is its small interface that has only the buttons needed to carry out remote access. I like its annotation features to draw on the screen. I also consider that its price is very accessible, offering its commercial license for only $ 36 per month. In addition, this program is based on Java, so it can be run on almost all platforms (Windows, Linux and MacOS).

**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

What I don't like is that sometimes the software has some connection issues, especially when there are several connections connected simultaneously. Audio quality is also affected.

**Recommendations to others considering ShowMyPC:**

I think its price is well below other competitors in the market. This tool offers good features in terms of remote support features. In my opinion, the organization where I work has benefited greatly. I recommend it.

This program has presented benefits in my organization with its price, which has greatly reduced software implementation costs. It has also benefited by improving communication with customers, because we have been able to comply with the established times of incidents, giving support remotely, without needing to physically assist.

Showmypc is the most easiest of screen sharing softwares I have used. The download and setup is quick and hassle free. Our clients love this as doesn’t require them to be tech savvy. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

Sometimes showmypc app acts weird. It doesn’t take the password and needs to be shut down and the password regenerated

**What problems is ShowMyPC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple and easy to use
Most clients are not so tech savvy, and have difficulty in connecting their PC, showmypc solves this major issue

The program is excellent. We use here at work to give remote access to technical support from the management software provider company. Generating a password if access is an additional security item and guarantee that your privacy has been secured.The is by far the easiest remote access software I have ever used.

The image has some delays even if you have a good internet connection, but because of its ease it does not bother you.

Practical, no need to request release with IT staff, anyone would know how to use

It supports almost everything one needs for remote access. Transferring files easily is a very strong point of the program. Overall, it's fast, simple, lightweight and good

It has a very simple installation process. It has several features such as chatting, file transfer, and meetings. easy to share your pc with others. The file size is very small and my one is a free version. It alerts you to what user connected to you.

Updating are not install automatically and when we scale the remote pc it hard to read the screen.

I recommend this to use quick remote desktop connections.

we use this to provide support to our clients and save our time and clients. because we dont't have IT support team for that we use this to give ideas and support.

**What do you like best about ShowMyPC?**

Price. We were using the application for free for a while but wanted a more professional solution. Paying a low monthly fee gave us our own hosted page and specific version users could download. It was easy to implement into our application as well. It has several feature we don''t user such as chatting, file transfer, and meetings. It's also a very simple installation. We've recently started using the web version which is easier since it doesn't require downloading the application at all.

**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

Older versions do not update automatically, hence we we prefer running it from the hosted site.  Also, in some situations it doesn't respond well but it's hard to say whether it's the end user internet service or the computer causing problems. I've been connected to certain users without being able to control but the screen refreshes just fine. 

**Recommendations to others considering ShowMyPC:**

For other needing to manage specific PCs I would recommend Logmein or any of the other solutions in the market. This is inexpensive and easy to implement.

We've been able to efficiently support our user base with a simple easy to use solution at a very reasonable price.

ShowMyPC has a great interface, very intuitive and with good usability. It has a simplicity where the user is guided quickly for access. With it, it is also possible to configure access, so that it can be used at any time.

**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

In some versions of the operating system (specifically Windows), the program experienced some incidents, blocking access, but after resolving this issue (not identified whether in the Operating System or the version used), there are no negative comments about the system.

Free version - intuitive - easy configuration and use.

Problems with the movement of people/technicians to provide support. Save time and expenses with in-person visits.

This is an easy way to share your screen when you are in need of technical support and IT assistance is not on site. If is simple to use and there are low cost and even free options available. It is not difficult to disconnect and gives clear signals and ale er ts to let you know what user is connected.

**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

I don't feel that this connection is HIPPA compliant. With the se mb active patient data that we have on out computers it is just not okay to take the risk of breaching the confidentiality codes. This is the major problem with an yr remote connection situation.

**Recommendations to others considering ShowMyPC:**

It is a great option when you are in need if a quick solution to remote desktop connection access. It is, however, not the best out there. There are connection issues and screen share time delays but for a free product it is helpful when you need it.

This solved the problem of not having in house IT support. Techs are able to assist remotely. They can diagnose, troubleshoot and problem solve without being in the building. With medical professionals that are not always tech savvy, it is important to have some sort of IT support available at all times

Normally, a remote access program is already running showing its ID, in showmypc you need to click on 'Show my PC' for this, not that this is relevant, just an observation.

Easy and quick to access, use, and configure. A software of great simplicity and usability.

Time saving for providing support, thus reducing travel costs.

**What do you like best about ShowMyPC?**

ShowmyPC offers a free version of their remote control software that allows us to get into someones computer (with their permission and access codes). It is regularly updated and it works. There is a premium version available. We use it as a last resort when our regular tools fail.


**What do you dislike about ShowMyPC?**

Screen scaling makes it hard to read the remote screens (way too small) and there is some lag in keyboard and mouse input - so much so that it is annoying! Having to explain to remote users how to install it and use it - every time - for 15+ minutes - every time, gets old. Hence our switch to Teamviewer which is always running in the background. You also need to have the user there to help. It will not reactivate on a reboot - reboot and your connection is gone and you need help from the remote user to reconnect. Which is fine, if they are there. If you are working on their system after hours so you don't interrupt their work - you are out of luck.

**Recommendations to others considering ShowMyPC:**

Looking for a free remote control software to help your family members with technical issues? This works and it's free. You should also look at Teamviewer and Logmein, both of which have free versions and tend to run more smoothly than ShowMyPC.

**What problems is ShowMyPC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to provide technical support for remote users - when our primary tools fail. It gives us a last ditch option to get into a computer, get our normal tools (Teamviewer) back up and running.

There are several buttons within the program that do not work including the alt + ctrl + del, button. The connection is very slow and response time is lacking.
