"Essential for Remote Work with Smooth File Transfers"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

I love how RemotePC allows me to connect remotely without needing to be on-premises, enabling me to access computers from either home to my workplace in the church or vice versa. One of the standout features I appreciate is the ability to transfer multiple files of any size between computers, which significantly boosts my efficiency. Being able to update last-minute changes from home without the need to physically drive to the church saves me a considerable amount of time and hassle. The initial setup of RemotePC was very easy, which allowed for a smooth transition and has been beneficial in getting everything running quickly. Overall, RemotePC meets my requirements exceptionally well, reinforced by the fact that I switched from Google Remote Desktop due to its limitations with file transfer sizes, and I would rate my likelihood of recommending RemotePC to a friend or colleague as a perfect 10. What do you dislike about RemotePC?

Every once in a while, the initial connection will disconnect right away, and I have to attempt to connect again. This doesn't happen often, but it does happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"RemotePC: Fast, Reliable, and Highly Recommended"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

I started using RemotePC because of its amazing value for the price, especially compared to TeamViewer, which I've used for years. It allows me to access computers in a dental practice almost immediately and solve problems quickly, which both my customers and I love. RemotePC has a very fast connection time and responds really well, making it a much better choice for me than TeamViewer. It's clear that RemotePC saves me time and my customers appreciate the fast connection because it solves their problems quickly. Although the setup was a bit harder than TeamViewer due to its detailed processes, I appreciate these from a security standpoint and once set up, it's very clean. What do you dislike about RemotePC?

It's a little harder to set up than TeamViewer because of all the processes, but I do appreciate that from a security standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Full-featured, simple set-up remote access application for multiple/mixed platforms"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

It really couldn't be easier to set up. There's no need to configure port forwarding on a router or use dynamic DNS. You just install the software on your computer and connect to it from elsewhere. There are several layers of security, which is important to prevent unauthorized access from the internet. There are tons of great features like file access and command line access if you need quick access to files or to run a command without a full desktop session. The iDrive backup integration is a nice plus too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

The web client is lacking some options and optimizations compared to the desktop client or mobile/tablet app. This is to be expected, but it may be something to consider in evaluating, especially if you need access from another computer to which you don't have admin rights to install the desktop client. "Unmatched Value and Features, Minor Connectivity Hiccups"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

The value and features offered here are unmatched. I use this now daily for customer service. It was easy to use and explain to our customers how to make the connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

Be sure to have a reliable internet connection, as there were moments when the app froze briefly before automatically reconnecting. While I appreciate that it was able to restore the connection on its own, it would have been preferable not to lose the connection in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Effective Solution with Seamless Performance"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

I really like that RemotePC is very cost-effective. It seems to work fine on all of my machines. I appreciate the fact that it's running at all times on select machines, allowing me to remote in without needing to speak to a user. Plus, the initial setup worked very well and I was able to install it on about nine computers that I manage with no issues at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

I guess maybe it's a little slower than some of the other programs I've used, but it's more than fast enough for the things that I do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, Affordable Remote Access"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

I use RemotePC to connect with my laboratory computer for my PhD work because it allows me to remotely access my computer at an affordable price. I like that it offers a seamless connection and is fast. It's valuable for me since every time I try to connect, it always connects within a few seconds with no significant lag, and the response time is good. The initial setup was also very straightforward and super easy. For this price, I'd rate it 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

There seems to be a bug. When using MATLAB on my lab's Ubuntu computer through my Windows laptop, sometimes the '<' character comes as '>'. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"RemotePC offers an easy, reliable, and secure remote access experience"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

Using RemotePC has been a really smooth and positive experience. It’s super easy to set up, and for what it costs, you definitely get great value. The attended access feature is especially handy — the preset message with instructions makes it simple for the other person to connect, and being able to send it by email or just copy it to the clipboard saves a lot of time.

The sessions themselves are stable and reliable, so you can help someone out without worrying about disconnects or weird issues. One of my favorite things is that you can connect through a web browser. That means you can access your remote computer from basically anywhere without installing anything. You just confirm you’re using a trusted device, which adds a nice touch of security.

And the logs are a big plus too. If anything unusual comes up, you can easily check what happened, when, and where. Overall, RemotePC is a simple, secure, and very practical tool for remote access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

During my time using RemotePC, I haven’t had any issues worth mentioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Setup, Excellent Remote Access"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

I appreciate how RemotePC allows me to access my desktop PC from remote locations, granting me the flexibility to work from anywhere. The setup process was straightforward, taking only a few minutes to run the installer on both a desktop PC and a laptop, which meant I could become productive quickly without spending a lot of time configuring the software. This ease of setup is crucial as it ensures I can get the software to work correctly without hassle. Overall, RemotePC has been reliable in providing access to my home PC no matter where I am, which I find incredibly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

I encountered some performance issues with RemotePC, specifically screen updates lagging behind my mouse movements and keystrokes. Although it was not severe enough to prevent me from working, this lag can be disruptive, especially during tasks requiring real-time interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unattended Access at a Great Price"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

I appreciate RemotePC's ability to provide unattended remote access to my brother's laptop at a reasonable price. This feature is incredibly valuable because it doesn't require him to be involved during access, unlike other remote applications where a code is needed to allow access to the remote destination. This ease of access makes it more convenient and efficient for me to assist him. Additionally, the initial setup of RemotePC was very easy, which added to the overall positive experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

I find the file transfer feature lacking because it doesn't support file comparison, which is essential for ensuring that only the latest files are copied. This capability would streamline the process significantly. Additionally, the current implementation doesn't show the file transfer progress for each file, which would be beneficial to monitor the status and completion of transfers more effectively. "Effortless Remote Access with Instant Setup"
What do you like best about RemotePC?

I appreciate RemotePC for making my work easier and more efficient with its easy setup process, which only takes about five minutes, allowing me to get started right away. I love the automatic 1-click connection feature for previously configured connections, which makes reconnecting a seamless experience, enabling me to connect to sites simply and easily without any hassle. The ability to establish unattended connections and the inclusion of file transfer capabilities have been instrumental in my decision to switch from Windows Quick Assist to RemotePC, making RemotePC the preferred choice for my professional needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RemotePC?

I find it challenging to decide which version of RemotePC to install—whether it's the host-only, full version, or remote-only. The screen layout could be improved with larger titles and a non-technical description of who each version is for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
