I started using RemotePC because of its amazing value for the price, especially compared to TeamViewer, which I've used for years. It really couldn't be easier to set up. There's no need to configure port forwarding on a router or use dynamic DNS. You just install the software on your computer and connect to it from elsewhere. There are several layers of security, which is important to prevent unauthorized access from the internet. There are tons of great features like file access and command line access if you need quick access to files or to run a command without a full desktop session. The web client is lacking some options and optimizations compared to the desktop client or mobile/tablet app. This is to be expected, but it may be something to consider in evaluating, especially if you need access from another computer to which you don't have admin rights to install the desktop client. Be sure to have a reliable internet connection, as there were moments when the app froze briefly before automatically reconnecting. I really like that RemotePC is very cost-effective. It seems to work fine on all of my machines.
