"Best Bot Blocking Service w/ Great Pricing!"

What do you like best?

The team over at ShieldSquare is truly professional. They are all very understanding and caring of your business needs. I feel listened to and whenever I have a concern or need to make any changes, someone is always there to help me. Exceptional support 24/7. They are based in India, but have a team that works US hours to be on call during our US business hours. Also really appreciate that they will get on a video call and share screens with the customer on short notice. Very responsive!

What do you dislike?

Sometimes, the phone connection on their end is a bit low quality. However, every time I've mentioned this, they get on it immediately and use headsets that makes everything a whole lot better.

The bot blocking solution for Bot Management itself is awesome. Happy to see that before implementing that, Ad fraud rate was at an all-time high. Since the implementation, happy to report that we're able to run our ad campaigns with less than 2-5% ad fraud rate. This is very important to our advertisers and allows us to better serve our campaigns.

Weekly reports are sent and the dashboard is incredibly easy to use. On my second year of renewal for my current company.

"ShieldSquare helps us retain our competitive edge"

What do you like best?

The best part is how well ShieldSquare was in understanding our problems and had software built that could handle our needs. Their product and support teams made it a point to thoroughly understand our challenges. The bot prevention solution was then fine-tuned to detect bots, and take appropriate actions against them.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really. They are doing an amazing job.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

On top of the product working exactly as advertised, the ease of implementation, responsive customer service and 14 day trial is what won me over as compared to the competition.

We are one of the largest web sites on the internet for tracking down hard to find and out-of-print vinyl records, LPs and CDs. We have registered sellers all around the world who can post their items on the MusicStack website. A prospective customer can search the items by artist, title, country, price, format, seller ratings, etc., and make the purchase. Users have the flexibility to search the comprehensive database without logging in. Bot activity on our website was ruining our analytics and did not help us get useful metrics. This was a major problem until we implemented ShieldSquare.

ShieldSquare gave us comprehensive insights on the types of bot traffic coming to our website. Also, since ShieldSquare understood our challenges and business requirements, they fine tuned the solution so that only genuine users can visit our website

"Protecting our business"

What do you like best?

Shieldsquare has done a great job in protecting our business. They are very quick to reply when being contacted and they have always been able to help us with our requests.

What do you dislike?

It would be great if the had access to more data and could do more changes yourself.

In a very competitive market their will always be competitor that scrape your websites in order to compete with you. Shieldsquare helps us in making it very hard for those competitors to do that which is one of many ways for us to try to continue being market leader.

"An easy way to discover scrapping bots entering to your site"

What do you like best?

It lists all the bots scrapping your web, legal and bad bots, and offer you two alternatives to reject bad bots: captchas or false data.

What do you dislike?

It works integrated to your code and your site has to load first, affecting your traffic tolerance.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Avoid competitors' scrappers and to know how many bots we are receiving.

"Easy to use bot detection API"

What do you like best?

With a simple, fast API call, ShieldSquare detects bots reliably. Essentially it does what it says on the tin, which is perfect for us.

What do you dislike?

The product appears to focus on bot blocking rather than on data quality which is our focus, but it is easy enough to ignore the blocking recommendations.
