DataDome is one of the best actor is the antibot solution. Their AI motor and rules detections enables ot detect most of the subtle attack that others security tools cannot detect. It is a great complementary solution with other security tool that you can have in your architecture.

The SaaS platform where you can find all the metrics and setup the endpoints is easy to use.

The positive aspect of DataDome is when it is setup, you can used it with an audit mode to confirm its benefits, without impacting your existing applications. And when you are ready, you just have to toggle a button to activate the blocking mode. CATPCHA is combined with others antibot solution like DeviceCheck, improving User Experience (it's transparent) while adding security for your website

DataDome is relatively easy to setup : you can install it from higher level architecture (CDN, proxy) to lower level (Server, code). You just need to implement client side a JS tag.

The Challenge of AI Agents: We are facing complex questions regarding how to evolve bot protection when the line between a malicious bot and a legitimate AI agent acting on behalf of a human begins to blur. Shaping protection policies in this new era is a significant challenge for any security stack.

DataDome really is your one stop shop if you want to get rid of bots, spiders and the like. It runs pretty much on autopilot and you can focus on your core business again. The onboarding was super professional and a real pleasure.

A few years ago were being hit really hard by malicious bots that were slowing down and even crashing our website and ERP system, griding our day to day business to a halt. After evaluating multiple solutions, DataDome stood out due to how quickly they adapt to new threats and their real-time protection. The peace of mind we’ve gained knowing they are constantly monitoring bot traffic has been a huge benefit. I also appreciate that their dashboard gives clear visibility into what’s being blocked and why. The main downside is the cost, it’s definitely on the expensive side, especially for smaller teams and businesses but for us it was worth it. While support is helpful and thorough when they respond, the turnaround time can sometimes take a couple of days though you can escalate. Also, the initial setup required developer involvement, as integration wasn’t as plug-and-play for us. Once it’s up and running, it works well, but the onboarding process could be smoother. DataDome has been our trusted security partner for over 5 years, and what truly sets them apart is their support team—they genuinely feel like an extension of our engineering team. Their 24/7 SOC support and responsiveness during investigations has been exceptional. The solution is essentially "set it and forget it"—it scales beautifully as we expand into new markets and handles our peak gifting periods (holidays, end of financial year) without any issues. Datadome does a great job protecting us against bot scraping and L7 DDOS. So far we had a great overall experience. Integration in our system went smooth. Protection could then be activated selectively for our different endpoint groups. Configuration and traffic inspection is very simple thx to Datadome's dashboard.
