What problems is Sezzle solving and how is that benefiting you?
I made a purchase on the Sezzle website about three months ago. At the same time, I purchased my product; I also enrolled in the Sezzle Premium plan for $9.99/month.
The purchase, delivery and my first two payments went as planned without any issues. However, when I tried paying off my account balance, which included the 3rd and 4th scheduled payments on my account, I could not do so on the Sezzle website (sezzle.com) or via the Sezzle mobile app.
After contacting Sezzle support, Sezzle claims that somehow the payment portal attached to my account is not working properly and, therefore, cannot process any payments. Between voice and website chat, I have since contacted Sezzle support seven different times now, with supporting evidence of each interaction. The issue on my account has been escalated on four separate occasions, each time with a Sezzle support agent telling me the issue would be researched and that someone from Sezzle would be reaching out to me with a resolution or solution. One month into the process (and after four escalations), I still have not been contacted back by Sezzle support.
It absolutely baffles me that this business is unable to accept or process my payment... by phone, website or mobile app. I just don't understand. Sezzle indicates that they report to the major credit bureaus. The last thing I need is for this company to report my account as late or unpaid to the credit bureaus due to whatever internal issues they are experiencing. I am unable to reach anyone of authority with this company. I cannot locate corporate headquarters numbers for them either. I have been more than patient with them, but this is absolutely ridiculous at this point.
What am I to do? I am at a complete loss for options and words. How is it possible I cannot receive any support on this issue? This is so disheartening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
