**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

Overall, SessionStack is a powerful tool for our UX designers and UX researchers and can help them streamline the debugging process and improve the quality of our platform. SessionStack solves our significant problem of tracking user behavior and recording video with content embedded inside an iframe. Not all of the comparative tools can do it properly. It is also easy to send specific customer parameters to SessionStack that help us filter particular segments.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

From an administrative perspective, SessionStack could be better. I do not have direct access to my payment history and generated invoices. I need to ask their Support team by email to send me a new invoice each month after payment. Automating generation invoices should be a standard nowadays.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SessionStack solves our significant problem of tracking user behavior and recording video with content embedded inside an iframe. Not all of the comparative tools can do it properly.

**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

I like SessionStack for helping me make the right decision in my job. I'm UX Designer, and I need to have a solid foundation for making the right design decisions. This tool is beneficial to me because I can see with my own eyes what users of my product do with it. I can quickly check what operation system, browser, and browser version they use. Also, I can find recordings with errors and check what went wrong.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

I really dislike this new tab - "Segments", I'm still very confused by it, and I can't figure it out (I miss the old version). Sometimes I forget to turn off the recording, and then, after just a few days - the recording limit is reached. I would really appreciate, for example, an email that says - "You are almost out of the recording limit."

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SessionStack is helping me with keeping things under control. When I release a new feature to my product, I carefully watch how my users deal with it. I can't imagine that I cannot see how they are using our product.

**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

Our visitors are often pretty picky when it comes to design quality, thus an improperly designed website may get them disengaged and cause them to leave as a result. With the help of SessionStack, we are able to increase conversion rates, decrease bounce rates, and receive unbiased feedback on the UX from our actual users.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

The platform comes with a default data retention period of 30 days, which is quite short for us. Unfortunately there is no public pricing for a longer retention period on their website...

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SessionStack captures all interactions of our visitors with our website, including user annoyance signals such as rage clicks, which is when someone repeatedly clicks on certain elements of our website. It can also identify when our users leave our website, which allows us to take the necessary precautions to prevent that in the future.

**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

SessionStack fulfills our needs for session recording/replay and cobrowsing.  For co-browsing, we have not encountered latency problems that we have seen in other products.  Their support team is responsive and takes care of issues we encounter quickly.  They are always willing to work with us to find solutions and ensure we are successful.  We have overrun our sessions in the past, and they have worked with us to get those bumped up quickly so we can continue to see how our customers are using our application.  They have found solutions to help record sessions on our mobile app that I thought for sure they wouldn't be able to get in place.  They were able to add functionality very quickly, which was impressive.  All in all SessionStack works great for us.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

SessionStack really fits the business case that we need it to fill.  The interface could use a refresher but that really isn't a problem (just a nitpick).  All in all it is functional and just works.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SessionStack allows us to record our customer's sessions when using our application.  We use this information to resolve issues our customers encounter and to help us see how our customers use our application.  Our customer support team also uses the co-browse functionality to help guide customers in using the application real-time.  We can annotate on the customers screen to show where to go in the application and highlight areas of importance while on customer service calls.

When I reach out to SessionStack, I hear back from a real, live human being who remembers me. I have made suggestions for features, and they have consulted with their team about including them on the roadmap or let me know that the feature is on the roadmap.

I don't really see downsides right now. There are certain features which I would like built out - and I've shared this with the team. I guess, faster development with their existing roadmap. It's a very powerful tool - I'd like to see their upcoming features in action.

We are able to track any issues that members have with our site and identify what issues seem to be patterned. I am also able to easily create "saved segments" that I check daily to see if there are any specific known issues still arising.

**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

SessionStack replays provide amazing transparency for looking into issues the customers have had. I don't know what my team would do without it. Additionally, real-time reviews of current sessions allow the team to solve problems on the fly. This is a tool the whole team uses all day and every day.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

The company is based in Europe, so sometimes that makes contact timing in the afternoon more difficult if we need support, but they have generally been very responsive. SessionStack is still maturing in some ways--for example, some of the controls could be made a bit more automatic in the future--but overall this is an essential tool for us.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for customer support, finding customer issues when a ticket is received by email, and viewing user issues on the fly. Additionally, we hope to start using it to automatically start finding customer friction points (dead clicks, rage clicks, etc.).

With SessionStack you may not only identify all your users' inactions, but you can also see what they appear to like. The platform contains a highly developed session replay engine, which gives you a significant advantage by displaying users' behavior data that can help you sustain a higher-converting customer experience in the long run.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

Individual session recordings take time to watch, and there is no assurance that every video will yield useful information.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SessionStack enables us to ask questions and receive genuine answers. For example, we constantly pondered why a particular item was not usually purchased. We had some thoughts, but we couldn't make any solid assumptions about them. Instead of tapping into the dark, we now playback live session recordings of our target audience and learn a lot!

I like that Session Stack has a very real time live view so we can support our customers in real time as well as draw on their screens. They have a great ZenDesk integration and are working on a future HubSpot integration for both Support & Sales use cases which is great to hear as we want to move to HubSpot Service Hub away from Zendesk to consolidate product functionality.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

The time zone between their service team and the US has been a bit difficult to work through from time to time but they are always very responsive and helpful when they are online and they do get back to us as quickly as possible.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer Support, Viewing and Debugging user errors, user experience and web app issues for our product SaaS product. Retaining old sessions for a few months incase some older issue was identified we can still look into the history outside of our database logs.

SessionStack works by collecting data from website visitor activities, such as clicks, mouse movements, scrolls, and then creates a video recording of the visitor's session. This enables us to view a replay of their UX, which reveals great insights about our customers and their engagement.

SessionStack creates massive volumes of data, which can be challenging to analyze and evaluate. Therefore some technical knowledge and competence may be required to get the most out of the platform.

Everything is working OK thus far, however, I'd like email alerts or notifications when my segments change, otherwise, I risk missing out on critical insights.

SessionStack is simply fantastic. It helps me identify both usability and technical issues. It automatically records every user interaction and picks up everything - from delayed API requests, through slow page loading, to JavaScript issues and so much more.

The platform is unable to handle media files in the WebP format, and canvas is also not supported.

Session replay is fantastic on its own. But on top of it SessionStack adds powerful product analytics, allowing me to segment millions of user interactions in order to gain a better understanding of user experience and identify actionable common threads.

The tool is lightweight, meaning it has no impact on the performance of our website while yet collecting all user interactions. SessionStack can be integrated to a website with a tracking code to provide total control over analytics and playbacks.

SessionStack doesn't integrate with HubSpot, which is something that we have requested multiple times already.

SessionStack captures a lot of data, but it hasn't yet created the tools that help keep that data structured, so that it can be easily shared among users.

**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

The installation of SessionStack was pretty straightforward - it literally was a matter of seconds
and can be done by non-tech folks as well. The level of details you’ll start getting afterwards are
available only with a session replay technology - clicks, page loads, screen resizing, typing of
text - the platform really captures everything.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

Sometimes we have the feeling that the tool is not recording some sessions. We have submitted
a few tickets in that regard and their support team was quite helpful all the time.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we release a new feature we need to find out if the users are liking it, or using it properly.
Currently there's no better way to do this than with a session replay tool. We have evaluated a
lot of different products and selected SessionStack mainly due to the impressive response times
of their live session.

When we launch a new feature, we use SessionStack to observe how users are interacting with
these features and interfaces to ensure they are working as expected. When something is likely
to break, SessionStack expedites resolution by revealing the root cause of the problem.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

The only thing that we don’t like is the inability of the tool to record canvas. We have canvas in
one of our apps and need to support that as well.

SessionStack captures millions of data generated by our real users and what’s more it gives us
complete control over this data - that is essential for our QA and testing processes.

**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

We have quite tight budgets, but wanted to record the sessions of our users. SessionStack gave us 1500 sessions per month with their free plan, which is very generous, especially considering the fact that they are giving us access to a lot of their premium features as well.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

They have 10 co-browsing sessions per month, which is quite low, but still we can help our online users that are struggling on our website.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a very mature tool and their free plan is the best anywhere on the session replay market. 1500 sessions per month is unbeatable and there are no daily limits or whatsoever.

Our team uses this for session replays, which has made us very efficient in detecting bugs.
Moreover, we gain a lot of valuable learnings straight from our engaged users, as the platform
has the ability to recognize trends and patterns in their behavior.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

Nothing major at this point. Nonetheless, we could use some additional filters in their conversion
funnels to better detect friction in our user journeys.

Thanks to SessionStack’s session replay player we have the ability to answer the “why” behind
the “what”. This was a true game changer for us and for the continuous improvement of the UX
of our platforms.

While a user is visiting our website, SessionStack captures each screen and every action the user makes. This is definitely the easiest way for us to pinpoint UX problems.

The product doesn't support an integration with LiveAgent. It would be great to use the co-browsing in a combination with the live chat.

When it comes to determining where visitors enter and leave our website, SessionStack is exceptionally effective at it. It is fantastic for detecting issue areas that can be resulting in user attrition, which leads to revenue loss.

**What do you like best about SessionStack?**

Using this tool makes me much more efficient in reproducing bugs and considerably reduces the
time to resolve these. I’m familiar with session replay and have just recently started using
SessionStack, but so far I’m quite impressed with it.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

They still don’t have email notifications and alerts available, which would definitely make my
work easier. I hope to see these implemented soon.

Bug identification is a cumbersome process especially without the ability for quick reproduction.
That’s the main value we’re getting from SessionStack, as it drastically reduces the time to
reproduce and error.

Our team uses the information from SessionStack right away. After going over the most clicked elements and session recordings, we have a clearer understanding of the user's path and their problems.

You have to manually filter out your own devices which is not ideal, thus I wish they would make it simpler to exclude my devices.

Customers will report bugs and (most of the time) developers have no idea where to start reproducing them. We use session stack to send recordings over to developers so they can see a play by play of how the bugs are reproduced.

The SessionStack platform assists our team in organizing session replays based on specific concerns identified by the error tracking function. The sleek UI allows us to distribute these replays around our staff after that.

There is no Heatmap feature available. We use a different product for that purpose.

The replays produced by SessionStack are substantially greater in resolution than those produced by most other session replay tools on the market. This helps us determine whether a visitor is engaged on our website and to better understand and improve potential pain points.

The ability to quickly connect the dots between high-level customer experience indicators and individual user journeys and friction points. Session replay has become an invaluable feature for our team to validate hypotheses related to conversion rate optimization.

Their support team has been phenomenal!

Their features for dealing with sensitive data are working great but require configuration from our end. It would be nice if SessionStack could automatically figure out which elements are containing sensitive data and make a suggestion to us (and potentially auto-mask it).

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SessionStack is giving us the reasons behind the numbers. Our company is dealing with a large number of users and every change we make to their workflow could have a great impact on our conversion rates.
SessionStack gives us the confidence to move quickly. If we see some change in the numbers, we can quickly determine what has caused it and make decisions based on data rather than assumptions and customer surveys.

The ability to monitor actual user sessions, including the user's IP addresses, locations, and what they are looking and clicking at. The length spent on the page, in particular, is extremely useful.

Not really sure how to relate form submissions from our website to the corresponding user session. This should be more intuitive.

With their freemium plan, they offer a fantastic set of features and complimentary sessions. They also permit us to make 10 co-browsing calls each month. This helps us tremendously to improve the overall user experience on our website.

Almost flawless. I discovered a few glitches while using it though, but the customer service crew was usually very helpful.

Screen recordings can occasionally be sluggish or entirely black, but fortunately this does not happen very often.

Session replays provide a whole new layer of user behavior analysis, and SessionStack makes it available to everyone. With their interface, installation is very simple, which has allowed me to devote more of my valuable time to genuine analysis of our website.

Lightweight and extremely powerful tool for session replays. They also have a co-browsing feature that allows you to track what your visitors are doing in real-time.

The funnels functionality is a great idea, yet, it's a bit limited at the moment.

**What problems is SessionStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to watch our users' and visitors' sessions replays. This is helpful for multiple things - finding bugs, UX issues, areas/features that are more or less utilized that expected. By looking at the replays we can make more sense of the hard numbers coming from our analytics, since the replays provide the context behind these numbers. Both our dev and product teams benefit from having these insights that would can't get without SessionStack.

number of logins, time spent online and many more, but the best is the ability to watch real user
sessions and identify frustrated users

We wish some features were easier to use. Like masking data fields, or URL
targeting/excluding. We also need notifications.

Embedding SessionStack inside our app was pretty straightforward and their replays include
everything that my team needs - browser output, keyboard and mouse inputs as well as all sorts
of network events.

**What do you dislike about SessionStack?**

The downside of session replay in general is that tracking scripts can be easily detected and
blocked by ad blockers.

SessionStack allows me and my team to improve the user experience and identify bottlenecks
in the conversion process. It is also great for accessing the DOM directly and reflecting most
interactions (including mutations) in the DOM.

Everyone from the team is extremely responsive and helpful - they supported us in implementing and evaluating the tool, provided us with guidance and tips of how to most effectively use it. Moreover, the Sessionstck team were patient with our timelines and needs.

The free trial is only 2 weeks, but the Sessionstack team was really understanding towards our team's timelines in evaluating the tool and did several trial extensions, so we can properly review their solution.

Sessionstack is helping us better understand our user's behaviour and therefore prioritize user requests, and roadmap items in an informed manner. The co-browsing feature is also really helpful for support staff.

SessionStack works good for bug finding. The error console is helpful... The intercom integration is a must (that's the only way we can currently find user sessions)
