What do you like best about SessionStack?

Overall, SessionStack is a powerful tool for our UX designers and UX researchers and can help them streamline the debugging process and improve the quality of our platform. SessionStack solves our significant problem of tracking user behavior and recording video with content embedded inside an iframe. Not all of the comparative tools can do it properly. It is also easy to send specific customer parameters to SessionStack that help us filter particular segments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SessionStack?

From an administrative perspective, SessionStack could be better. I do not have direct access to my payment history and generated invoices. I need to ask their Support team by email to send me a new invoice each month after payment. Automating generation invoices should be a standard nowadays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SessionStack?

I like SessionStack for helping me make the right decision in my job. I'm UX Designer, and I need to have a solid foundation for making the right design decisions. This tool is beneficial to me because I can see with my own eyes what users of my product do with it. I can quickly check what operation system, browser, and browser version they use. Also, I can find recordings with errors and check what went wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SessionStack?

I really dislike this new tab - "Segments", I'm still very confused by it, and I can't figure it out (I miss the old version). Sometimes I forget to turn off the recording, and then, after just a few days - the recording limit is reached. I would really appreciate, for example, an email that says - "You are almost out of the recording limit." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We'll be happy to schedule a quick training session where our team can show you how to use our segments to receive quick answers to your queries. Our analytics and user feedback shows that the segments have drastically reduced the time needed by our users to find what they're looking for. We'll reach out about this.

Recording limit notification:

This is something we already have in place. Our guess is that for some reason it's disabled for you. Let us check that and we'll follow up.

What do you like best about SessionStack?

Our visitors are often pretty picky when it comes to design quality, thus an improperly designed website may get them disengaged and cause them to leave as a result. With the help of SessionStack, we are able to increase conversion rates, decrease bounce rates, and receive unbiased feedback on the UX from our actual users. What do you dislike about SessionStack?

The platform comes with a default data retention period of 30 days, which is quite short for us. Unfortunately there is no public pricing for a longer retention period on their website... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SessionStack?

SessionStack fulfills our needs for session recording/replay and cobrowsing. For co-browsing, we have not encountered latency problems that we have seen in other products. Their support team is responsive and takes care of issues we encounter quickly. They are always willing to work with us to find solutions and ensure we are successful. We have overrun our sessions in the past, and they have worked with us to get those bumped up quickly so we can continue to see how our customers are using our application. They have found solutions to help record sessions on our mobile app that I thought for sure they wouldn't be able to get in place. They were able to add functionality very quickly, which was impressive. All in all SessionStack works great for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SessionStack?

SessionStack really fits the business case that we need it to fill. The interface could use a refresher but that really isn't a problem (just a nitpick). All in all it is functional and just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I reach out to SessionStack, I hear back from a real, live human being who remembers me. I have made suggestions for features, and they have consulted with their team about including them on the roadmap or let me know that the feature is on the roadmap. I don't really see downsides right now. There are certain features which I would like built out - and I've shared this with the team. I guess, faster development with their existing roadmap. What do you like best about SessionStack?

SessionStack replays provide amazing transparency for looking into issues the customers have had. I don't know what my team would do without it. Additionally, real-time reviews of current sessions allow the team to solve problems on the fly. This is a tool the whole team uses all day and every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SessionStack?

The company is based in Europe, so sometimes that makes contact timing in the afternoon more difficult if we need support, but they have generally been very responsive. SessionStack is still maturing in some ways--for example, some of the controls could be made a bit more automatic in the future--but overall this is an essential tool for us.
