"Lifesaver for developers, but UI can be improved"
What do you like best about SemWare Editor?

The one feature that I like the best is the option to split the window horizontally or vertically. This way I can work on as many files I want simultaneously. Also, I can see and edit multiple sections of a single file. Besides that, you can sync-scroll multiple windows at once, which is an amazing time-saver for coders.

Also, it has a calculator and the ASCII chart inbuilt, which is nice. Adding a cherry on the top, it has an option to search files in the drive without even leaving the main window. To be honest, this software is a lifesaver for developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SemWare Editor?

Installing the program was quite a hassle and took some time. I guess the installation process can be eased up a bit. The UI and aesthetic is too much classic (for me). It can be a little modernized or at least should have the option to choose themes. Getting used to the UI can take some time depending upon the user's learning curve. The spell checker should have some regular syntaxes like <html>, <php> etc added in the dictionary. Otherwise, the option is pretty much useless for a programmer.
