## Sched Reviews
 ### 1. Longtime Sched User

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan S. | Director, Professional Learning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

We have been able to use Sched for both virtual and in-person events. Adding attendees, speakers, and sponsors is a breeze, and being able to see projected attendance for events helps us be proactive in our planning. Last-minute changes to programming, locations, and events, are easy to navigate on Sched, as well. I appreciate the messaging options to push out real-time notifications and reminders to attendees, speakers, sponsors, or everyone at once!

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

The pricing of Sched was a shock to us this year. The Sched team met with us to navigate our budget as a nonprofit education organization, and we are so grateful they were able to accommodate our needs.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched is a great communication tool. We have an event where we have participants in different pathways, with different learning needs, and a variety of complementary events. Sched helps us provide filters for this wide variety of attendees, and it also allows us to pivot locations and resources as we see attendance increase in real-time.

 ### 2. Easy to use, updated UI is great!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy S. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The Sched team keeps you on track very well throughout the process with a detailed, outline of what steps are needed by when. Logging into the system and completing all the required steps for the published app was easy. The end result is a very professional looking app, and all I had to do was upload images and information about our event.

End result, over 200+ people used our app for our annual event this year without any issues or complaints.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Previous versions looked a little dated, but the latest UI/UX updates are great! Very clean and fresh.

Of course, with any software there will be limitations, but we were able to do everything we needed to for a live 3-day event.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Run a live event for multiple days consists of a lot of information needing to be shared and having it all in one app makes it easy to keep everyone informed. There are schedules they can build for themselves based on the event's lineup, and we can also send live notifications if needed.

 ### 3. User Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gladys J. | Professional Learning Facilitator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched is extremely user-friendly, from all stages of planning an event. Spreadsheet import is extremely useful, and management of communication in the dashboard to participants, speakers, and more is great. The live support through chat has been helpful, along with a plethora of self-help guides on the site.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I would like an option for the spreadsheet imports to be a choice of Google and Excel spreadsheets but I understand the formatting and platform needing excel. There are no real downsides of using Sched. Beyond Sched's control are budget cuts in education which limit the ability to purchase subscriptions that we may find more useful with the communication features as other aspects. They do, however, provide great deals for working with them.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing educators with options and choice at professional learning events in one easy platform to make the professional learning experience enjoyable and easy to navigate.

 ### 4. Fantastic support - but you won't need it often

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched is extremely intuitive to set up and use, even the more advanced features. But if you need help, they also have fantastic support - very clear tutorials for admins and users alike (which they make easy to share with event participants), and dedicated account managers and tech support teams who are very responsive and actually take the time to get to know your event needs. And they take client feedback seriously - every year I see a new improvement or integration that is based on user feedback.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Honestly, I don't think there are any issues with Sched that aren't common among event platforms - and they are minor. We've received feedback from attendees in the past who wished the attendee interaction features were more robust, but Sched obviously also received the same feedback because I've noticed improvements with every update.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched just launched an integrated CFP feature which will make recruiting, reviewing, and converting prospects to speakers so much easier. It was launched after we had already begun our own CFP this year, but we are looking forward to using it and streamlining the process for our next annual conference.

 ### 5. Sched makes event management a breeze!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariam M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched makes event management so much easier with its intuitive user interface. The ability to bulk-upload sessions, users, and speakers—complete with helpful tagging options—was a huge time-saver. I also appreciated how the schedule could be integrated into our website, providing a professional look for our event. The email feature was another highlight, allowing us to send daily reminders, welcome emails, and customized newsletters to attendees. The event privacy features also gave us peace of mind when it came to restricting it to our participants only.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

While their customer service is quick and responsive, they don’t always have all the answers, which can leave you hanging in certain situations. Another area for improvement is the email customization options, particularly for subject lines and intros, which are sometimes pre-set and can’t be modified. Also, a Spanish-language user interface would be a fantastic addition. Lastly, the feedback feature could be more flexible to collect additional information.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched helped us manage a complex event with ease. Its tools for bulk-uploading sessions and managing attendees saved us hours of manual work, and the email reminders helped improve engagement. The integration with Zoom meant that we didn’t have to worry about linking sessions individually, and the event privacy features ensured a secure experience for our participants.

 ### 6. Year 2 and VERY Satisfied

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlin P. | Speech Language Pathologist and Special Education Event Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Sched?**

This is our second year using Sched for a week-long Special Education professional development conference. It is a fantastic resource! Coordinating the event with it made scheduling 200+ attendees and 50 speakers simple. Thank you for this platform and extremely fast responses to all questions through excellent customer support!

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I'm not sure there is anything I would say that I disliked.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched has created a one-stop shop for all your event planning needs from beginning to end, from registering, scheduling, providing presenter feedback, and obtaining data to present to our School Board.

 ### 7. Very well received by our online participants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian D. | Retired, volunteer., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Visual, themed, schedule. Works seamlessly cross-platform.
Our users were happy! Time zone management was brilliant across five and a half zones.
Daily schedule email reminders were well received.
Administrative possibilities are immensely valuable using the well-documented Rest interface.
Just in time (i.e. late) setting of Zoom links worked well - they are revealed shortly before event start times.
The company was very supportive.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

The emailed daily schedule does not localize event start times to the time zone of the reader.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

You will need to be prepared to dive into the data.
Ensure you have your schedule of events already prepared in a spreadsheet (we used google sheets) for easy upload to Sched.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not develop and maintain our website with zoom links, descriptions, etc., once we had loaded our schedule into the Sched system.

 ### 8. Really responsive support and excellent registration platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The ease with which the registration is undertaken. This platform constantly upgrades and improves everytime we use it. GREAT, responsive helpful support.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Nothing. There is nothing missing from this product and everything works properly.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Super easy to get support. Videos are great. Just sad that every time we use it the price has escalated significantly. It was $100 the first year we used it!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to cap numbers is great as well as freeze registration. I'd like next year to have support with having 2 audiences with different access to workshops. WE didn't use it this year as the workshops are still visible even if part of the audience is excluded.

 ### 9. User friendly conference set up, best and easiest out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary P. | Educational Technologist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Sched?**

I have used Sched many times to organize conferences. The people I work with have a wide range of technology comfort, and I don't think I've ever received a question about how it works from the user point of view, as far as registering for sessions. Even better, the back end is great too. Many options for uploading, many plans to really support your needs, and best of all the customer service is the best out there.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Sched doesn't really have any downsides. Maybe if you're an advanced web designer or coder it might feel too stiff? I really can't think of anything. It's truly ideal for organizing a conference, no matter how many sessions.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Try it. You can set a lot of it up and get a feel for it before you commit to purchase. It's straightforward and easy to use from all angles.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in an organization with over 500 employees. This has been the best way to relay information to people, track attendance and trends, and keep information about our conferences in one extremely reliable and easy to use place.

 ### 10. Please reconsider your prices!

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamison N. | Founder and Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Ease of use and embeddable into your website

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

We would still like to use it, but their pricing has skyrocketed! Some of features cannot be justified as selling points, like their website. The prices are literally three times as much as what we used to pay.

Also - Having Eventbrite as the only ticketing integration is shortsighted. Most do not use Eventbrite after they priced all SMEs out of their product. Having a ticketing solution integrated that is also integrated with Stripe is far more clever for folks like us!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None presently but we did enjoy using the product to embed schedules in our sites

 ### 11. Can't imagine doing a conference without this app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacqueline W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Awesome customer service, easy to use help guides, and very user friendly format. Ability to send out messages to participants and presenters. Accessible on multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I really can't think of anything that I dislike about this product - I know that sounds crazy, but it truly met all of my needs.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We turned an in person conference to a virtual platform in six weeks. Sched was the best platform to host the Zoom links, uploaded presentations and everything else that the attendees needed acces to.

 ### 12. Love SCHED as a registration site

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika R. | Administrative Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Sched?**

There service has been great over the years.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I wish some things were customizable by those running in the background.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SCHED has been easy to work with over the years (2016) and has always resolved any issues.

 ### 13. Non-profit Event Platform of Choice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keri C. | Events & Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Sched?**

At the beginning of our for an event platform, we reviewed countless products, and decided to use Sched! We have been using the platform for almost 2 years and love the new integrations their team continually develops. It is a user-friendly platform to schedule events, communicate with attendees, collect feedback, and showcase events. As a non-profit, we were thrilled to see they offered an affordable discount, as well!

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Unfortunately, Sched does not integrate with Hubspot or Submittable at this time. It's also having issues with its new Zoom plug-in. It worked great for a couple of weeks and now doesn't work at all - there's a good chance that's a zoom problem though. Also, customer service, while friendly, has been a little slow to answer and about 80% of the time doesn't offer to help fix the issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Integration with Hubspot and Submittable. Plus, fixing the Zoom plugin issue.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Leveraging the Sched platform allows our attendees to RSVP, create their custom schedules, and receive automated reminders. Presenters also have the ability to input their presentations and communicate with their session's attendees. (Talk about a time saver!) From an event planners' perspective, it's worth its weight in GOLD. We also LOVE their easy display, print, and attendee check in-app!

 ### 14. Very Basic for Your Event

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in International Affairs | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The schedule was easy to manage and it is very budget-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I needed much more to manage my event and provide attendees with information. Does not provide opportunities for sponsorship.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

I would evaluate the needs for your event before deciding to use Sched.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer use sched- we have used other conference applications instead.

 ### 15. Great Product - Very user friendly and Customer Service is responsive!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Sched?**

I've never had a single complaint from an event participant about setting up an account and using sched to go through and pick their sessions. Given our user base, I always expect some and I get none. Room capacity and wait-listing are great features! I also love the automatic sending of individual schedules on the day of the event.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I'm hopeful that they will soon let us mark attendees as "VIP" meaning they don't count towards the capacity...before the room reaches capacity. Currently this feature exists but you have to wait for the rooms to get full so that's a bit cumbersome...but I love that they have this status!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sign ups for people outside of our organization...typically we'd have to create accounts for them and step them through the signup process, but Sched takes all of this off of my plate! Also the automatic sending of individual schedules on the day of the event takes away a lot of work!

 ### 16. Very intuitive, powerful software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The ease of use, and time-saving capability for event-organizers.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

It wasn't clear how to handle certain elements of the Eventbrite integration. Without a "try it out" feature, we had to use trial and error on a live event and attendees and speakers started getting emails that we didn't necessarily want them to receive at that stage. Integrations can be confusing for end-users, and this is an area that could be better documented and supported with in-depth demonstration videos.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Give it a try - your attendees and event speakers will thank you!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual work, multiple copies of event/attendee spreadsheets and difficulty in communication have all been hugely reduced. Sched transformed a local, volunteer-led conference into a professional, slick event with very little technical input required. Eventbrite integration was also a huge plus for ticketing.

 ### 17. Best and easiest out there.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul F. | Director of Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Sched?**

I used Sched to host conferences several times. The people with whom I work have a wide range of software usability, so I know I have never been asked how it works user-focused and how it works to register for sessions. The background is great, even better. Many upload options, planning to support your needs and the best thing to do is to provide a customer service.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Sched has no downsides, however. Perhaps you might feel too rigid if you're an experienced web designer? I can't think about anything, very. The management of a meeting, irrespective of how many sessions, is really ideal.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Once you commit to buying, you should set a lot up and feel for it. It is simple and easy to use from any direction. The Sched Support Team updates the website very proactively to suit user requests.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Of over 1500 workers, I work in an organisation. This was the best way of transmitting information to people, following the trends and keeping information on our conferences in an extremely trusted and easy-to-use location.

 ### 18. Excellent product! Easy to use for both planners and participants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philip J. | Secondary Instructional Innovation Support Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched makes it easy to create and deploy schedules for conferences big and small. Sched allows us to deploy our schedule, make changes on the fly and keep track of our attendees in one easy-to-use interface.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Nothing! It is truly a great product - and I look forward to using it again!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to provide our teachers with a conference-style experience for a small amount of money.

 ### 19. Great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanon M. M. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Easy to set up; very user friendly. GREAT customer service.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

There are a lot of "pieces" involved in setting this up and seeing it through to implementation -- none of them difficult, but keeping track of them the first time through was a little challenging, as a one-person team working on multiple aspects of this event at the same time.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Sched reduced our printing costs significantly. It also helped facilitate communication with both attendees and speakers.

**Official Response from Rachel Drudi:**

> Hi Shanon, thanks so much for taking the time to share about your experience with Sched!

I appreciate your feedback on keeping track of all the steps involved with getting set up. I'm going to brainstorm on ways to improve this for small teams. I'm so happy to hear we helped save on printing costs and made it possible to contact attendees and speakers.

Looking forward to working together again soon!

 ### 20. Awesome UX for conference attendees, a little expensive for organizers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The color coded events and ability to add items to your schedule for an upcoming conference is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

The price as an organizer is too expensive. If I want to run a small event, the price is still $500. It should be dynamic based on the number of people attending and using it.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

This is great for your event attendees, but as an organizer you will want to make sure your event has enough coverage and sponsorship to pay for this.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Made conference schedule organizing quire simple for both the attendee and event organizers.

 ### 21. A Great Tool for Organizing a Conference!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The ease in which you can set your schedule or change your schedule at the last minute.
I like that attendees can look at their sessions see a full description and learn about the speaker. The feedback through Sched is very helpful, as well. (See, I can't pick just one thing!)

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

We are trying to go paperless as much as possible. I would like to see a scannable QR code available through Sched for our attendees.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to change the schedule. If participants have downloaded Sched (hopefully), they can see the change and make another choice.

 ### 22. Sched - great tool for any size conference or event

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched is easy to use and very scalable - we use the tool for everything from small, 100 person meetups to our large summits of 3000-4000 attendees.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

The layout is not as professional looking as I would like. Personal preference, ymmv.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy way for attendees to create a schedule (love the mobile app). In addition, helps us organize our speakers.

 ### 23. Using Shed for conference planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Sched?**

I like the way that shed integrates with my conference site. I think it is very visually appealing and easy for people to navigate, while being simple for me to create on the backend as well

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I wish there were a few more options to customize it. We have a lot of moving parts in our conference, so being able to have it be just a little more customizable would be awesome, although it's not a deal-breaker.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Really great tool for conference planning!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When planning a conference, it's crucial to have a platform for conference attendees that is visually clear, easy to interact with and also mobile friendly. It was important to find a program that served multiple purposes.

 ### 24. Simple and Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched is straightforward and simple. It allows users to upload schedule elements through certain file types rather than individually creating each event, speaker, etc.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Sched is very basic in many respects. It does not allow users to create their own HTML-editable page, for example.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

The Sched support team is very proactive in updating the website to fit user requests.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization used Sched to create a conference schedule that people could reference prior to and during the conference.

 ### 25. Easy tool to manage an agenda for an event

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emanuela C. | Director Digital Marketing & Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2016

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched is easy to use and you can create the agenda for an event straight away. I embedded the agenda in my event website and sched automatically created also a one-page website. You can also use the Native Apps for iPhone and Android (paying an additional cost),

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

You can customize the colors but the overall structure is not editable. I was not able to customize the design of my agenda and the organization of it. Breakout sessions are presented all together at the same timing, you cannot decide the order and for some users this layout is a bit confusing.
You can manage only the agenda using sched (Sessions, speakers, exhibitors). If you need a tool to let your attendees interact during the event you will need to find a more complete tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

After Sched I tested Attendify and I think it is more comprehensive tool for a business conference.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to create very quickly an agenda for my conference
