## Sage Intacct Reviews
  ### 1. Effective Multi-Entity Management, But Lacks Strong Support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megha V. | Purchasing Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct is web-based, which allows me to log in from anywhere. I really find the multi-entity consolidation feature to be the best part. It efficiently handles consolidation and currency conversion in real time, which is perfect for companies with multiple legal entities and different currencies.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The back end support is really poor in my experience. It's very hard to get ahold of the team, and every question requires a one hour development call, which is an add-on cost. I really don't like the support. The support is a bit lacking from a people perspective in the beginning.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Sage Intacct for real-time consolidation and currency conversion for our multiple legal entities and jurisdictions. It helps us efficiently support intercompany reconciliation, operating under a unified banner.

  ### 2. Sage Intacct - top cloud ERP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

One of the best aspects of Sage Intacct is the ease of use. The user does not need to know the system front and backwards to get the information that he or she needs. Also, being a cloud-based system helps with access at any time or location.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Sometime the AP functionalities do not update to what is expected. Meaning duplicating a Bill in AP will create issues if you are not paying attention to what you are doing. Voiding and reissuing payments at time is problematic.

**Recommendations to others considering Sage Intacct:**

Price to Quality is very important. The transition to Intacct woould be seemless.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the best qualities of the software is availability and access to the data. I can run reports all the time without having to wait for something to refresh overnight.

  ### 3. Great accounting system, great for large companies with complex accounting needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather G. | Corporate Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct can do more complex accounting tasks than other accounting systems. If Intacct can't perform a particular function, it partners with many companies that have created software to streamline the process. We use bill.com, Expensify and Marketman.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The flow is choppy. With other software, it links the different steps together. In Sage Intacct, you must go in and out of various windows to complete one step. Creating a not-as-user-friendly software because you must remember where to go next.

**Recommendations to others considering Sage Intacct:**

take the classes provided

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is currently is helping cut out paper waste, and smoothe intergrations

  ### 4. Sage Brings Structure, Accuracy, and Audit-Ready Control to Finance Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like most about Sage is how it brings structure, accuracy, and efficiency to complex financial processes. It offers a dependable platform for managing general ledger activity, accounts payable, and reporting, while also maintaining strong audit trails and internal controls. Its integration capabilities and customizable reporting tools make it straightforward to pull meaningful insights and support better decision-making.

From a controller’s perspective, Sage helps streamline day-to-day workflows, reduce manual errors, and stay compliant with accounting standards. Overall, it strikes a solid balance between flexibility and control, enabling finance teams to work more effectively without sacrificing the rigor needed for audit-ready financial management.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

What I dislike about Sage is that it can feel rigid and unintuitive at times, particularly when I’m navigating more complex transactions or trying to correct errors. Some workflows take too many steps to complete, which slows productivity and increases the chance of user mistakes. Reporting is flexible, but it often takes additional configuration to get exactly what I need instead of feeling immediately intuitive. Integration with other systems can be inconsistent as well, which sometimes forces manual workarounds. From a controller’s perspective, these inefficiencies add friction during close and audit cycles and make processes more time-consuming than they should be, even with the system’s overall strengths.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual, time‑intensive close processes → Close automation tools aim to make month-end “as seamless as possible” and reduce the time spent on close activities

Fragmented data and reporting → Data Cloud + integrations (e.g., with Snowflake) support more centralized, accessible financial data

Inefficient payment workflows → e-Payment solutions streamline payment processing without per-transaction overhead

Manual accounting processes and rework → Ongoing product improvements are designed to “reduce manual work” and improve workflows

  ### 5. Excellent Software, Excellent Customer Support 🙂 Exorbitant Pricing! 😡

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Having used many software platforms from accounting software, to CRM, to ERP systems, I've been able to experience a wide variety of user interfaces as well as customer support. Sage's user interface is average, in that it's fairly user friendly, but not as much as others. It requires slightly above average technical skills to use, but works great! The area where Sage Intacct excels is Customer Support! Thier response time and level of suppor to requests is excellent. Their support team provides frequent feedback and followup throughout the support process.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The only thing we dislike about Sage is their ever-increasing pricing. Over the five years we’ve been using them, the price has gone up by at least 10% each year. That isn’t sustainable, and for that reason alone we’re researching other options. Otherwise, we really like Sage and would happily stay with them, but a 10% annual increase in cost feels exorbitant.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is helping our company generate accurate Financial Statements, increase effeciencies in doing so, and decreasing the amount of time needed to do so. We also like the AI bill upload and processing service they provide.

  ### 6. User-Friendly and Efficient for Finance Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vasavi c. | Senior Accounting Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct is user-friendly and not complicated to search for anything. I am comfortable using it daily for posting general entries and managing accounts receivable and payable. It's useful for vendor and customer aging, and generating reports and consolidation is quite straightforward. Setting it up was easy for me, and I didn't need any additional training.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One thing I dislike about Sage Intacct is that it has a learning curve for new users, and some advanced features can be complex to set up

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for ERP services and generating financial reports. It's user-friendly for posting general ledger entries, checking accounts receivable/payable, and vendor/customer aging. I find it uncomplicated to search and navigate, which makes my daily accounting tasks more comfortable.

  ### 7. Versatile Scaling with Robust Consolidated Financial Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shirley L. | Director of Finance Transformation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Its very versatile with how our business is scaling, and how new common owned entities and investment entities are able to record their own balance sheet, income statement, statement of equity, and cash flow, consolidated and consolidating

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The reporting functions and group creations are relatively strict. The AI functions within the Sage Intacct UI is limited to mainly AP. Lack of integration with Salesforce crm.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct MCP AI is allowing me to connect to sage directly to do the analysis I'm doing in Google sheets.

  ### 8. Clean, Simple UI and a Flawless Intacct–SFDC Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Talking about the UI, it isn’t very colourful, which I actually see as a good thing because it mostly follows one colour and keeps things simple. We have integrated Intacct with SFDC, and it has been working flawlessly without any hassle, which is also a positive. Performance is good, though not the best, because sometimes while creating an invoice it throws an error; because of this, we have to create the invoice again. Revenue recognition is good and works without any errors. Regarding AI, I can’t really comment, as I don’t know whether our organisation opted for it, because I can’t see any AI features in our Intacct.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Editing transactions sometimes takes too many clicks, even for simple corrections. We can’t update multiple lines simultaneously, which adds extra time during month-end. Also, there isn’t enough explanation provided for the errors.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated ASC 606 revenue recognition has replaced our manual Excel sheets and the complex revenue schedules we used to manage for SaaS subscription contracts. The seamless SFDC–Intacct integration also helps reduce data-entry errors and prevents billing and reporting delays. Overall, it has improved visibility and alignment between the sales and finance teams.

  ### 9. Capable financial core, but you'll feel the ceiling as you scale

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The multi-dimensional reporting continues to be the standout — being able to slice by entity, department, and location without bloating the chart of accounts has saved our finance team real time as we've added complexity. The dimensional structure scales better than the row-based reporting we came from. AP automation and the approval workflows have also matured nicely since our last review, and the audit trail and role-based permissions have made our close and audit prep noticeably cleaner. Integration into our broader stack has held up well.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

As we've grown, a few limitations have become more pronounced. Report building is still harder than it should be — anything beyond the standard templates takes real effort, and we've hit a practical ceiling on the number and complexity of custom reports. Performance also degrades when we run large data volumes or heavier consolidations, which slows the team during close. Cost is the other piece: per-user licensing plus the add-on modules add up faster than we expected as headcount and scope grew, and it's hard to forecast the all-in number. Updating historical data — the pain point from our last review — is still cumbersome. None of these are dealbreakers individually, but together they're the reason the rating slipped.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is solving the disconnect between Sales and Finance. Since we've integrated Intacct with Salesforce, it has been much easier to identify discrepancies and abnormalities regarding bookings numbers.

  ### 10. It's a robust system to manage project accounting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kourosh R. | Senior Finance and Accounting Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Their new upgrade has made searching and filtering across different modules much easier

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Pricing could be a turning point. Since this is an online platform, the pricing could end up being significantly lower

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is solving several key problems for our organization, particularly around financial visibility, efficiency, and scalability. Before switching, we struggled with manual processes, limited reporting capabilities, and managing financials across multiple entities. Sage Intacct has addressed these challenges by automating many routine accounting tasks—such as approvals, journal entries, and consolidations—which has significantly reduced errors and saved time. The multi-entity and multi-currency support has made it much easier to manage our growing operations globally. Most importantly, the real-time reporting and customizable dashboards give us immediate insight into our financial performance, enabling better, faster decision-making. Overall, Sage Intacct has improved our accuracy, efficiency, and ability to scale, which has had a direct positive impact on our business operations.

**Official Response from Brock Faucette:**

> Thanks for this glowing review. We truly appreciate your taking valuable time out of your day to provide such thorough feedback. And we hear you about the learning curve! We're constantly trying to find ways to accelerate mastery of the platform, and feedback like yours helps drive those initiatives. We will keep improving in this area!

  ### 11. Interactive Real-Time Reporting and Smooth API Transaction Transfers in Sage Intacct

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria F. | Controller/CCO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

We are in Sage InTacct on a daily bases using the Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Reporting features. I love the interactive reporting that gives me real time results if I get my information in there. With the API tools we are easily able to get transactions transferred from our policy processing platform to InTacct. We worked with a 3rd party consultant to get the API tools even more refined to get the transactions in there exactly how we wanted them. With their Help & Support feature it makes finding answers on how to use the product a brease.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Sage InTacct is a little large for all our uses. I adopted this system from my predecessor and I was not really trained in the full functionality of the tool. With our third party adoption I'm also not able to access the community forum to get information from the community, which can be a little frustrating at time.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage is assisting us in compiling our data for our annual reporting.

  ### 12. Effortless Data Management, Instantaneous Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umar F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like the ease of use in Sage Intacct, especially how easy data entry is. The copy/paste function is quick and easy, which is super helpful. I also appreciate the financial statements generation process; it's very easy and quick, and the numbers on financial statements get updated instantaneously after data entry is complete. I find these features make my accounting tasks more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The budget upload process was not easy. I received several errors while uploading numbers by using the template. It felt like a trial and error process, which was frustrating until it eventually worked.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for accounting. It makes data entry quick with easy copy/paste functions and updates numbers on financial statements instantaneously, simplifying financial reporting.

  ### 13. Sage Intacct Keeps Evolving—and Keeps Our Finance Team Lean

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

We have been using Sage Intacct for more than 10 years. Its functionality continues to grow and change with technology improvements. It has kept our finance team small, by providing efficiencies. Our Cbiz partners are excellent. We have added several ancillary systems that are fully integrated with Sage Intacct.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Many of Sage's upgrades and new functionality come with a separate price tag. The cost of using Sage Intacct, and necessary add ons (for budgeting; reporting) has continued to grow.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

specifically, we just started using integrated payables this year and it has been a game changer. It performed exactly as described, has cut our AP processing time significantly and still allows for our very robust approval process to continue, all with Intacct.

  ### 14. Effortless Accounting with Powerful Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rama G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I use Sage Intacct for various tasks, including Bookkeeping, Bill Payments, and Bank Reconciliations, which are all made easier due to its user-friendly accounting features. I particularly like how I can easily track vendor bills and payments and maintain department-wise books. The AP Module is great for effortlessly tracking vendor bills and dues, and payment tracking is straightforward. In terms of reporting, I appreciate how easy it is to create and extract department-wise, entity Standard financials, and Consolidated financials in the required formats. Creating GL groups in reports is also more manageable. Furthermore, setting up accounts and importing bulk data through Excel templates is quite simple, which contributed to a smooth initial setup process for Sage Intacct.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Approval settings need to improve at the entity level for the AP module for multiple authentication levels. Forex conversion is not proper when using multiple currency transactions. Authorization setup needs to be made more user-friendly for understanding.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for bookkeeping, bill payments, and bank reconciliations. It's accounting user-friendly, simplifies tracking vendor bills and payments, maintains department-wise books, and generates both standard and consolidated financial reports effortlessly.

  ### 15. Growing strong with Sage Intacct

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacky F. | Debtors Clerk, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that i can store or upload all communication liek emails and whatsapp messages on Intacct, it keeps me up to date on my last conversation with my clients.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I do not dislike anything at this stage. However i hear the pricing on the subscription is high especially with new add-ons and new releases.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact that Intacct offers cloud-base functionalities, help with easy integration and real time balances, i benefit from making quick decisions and pro active working, even help me with quick reporting

  ### 16. Easy-to-Use Sage UI That Keeps Complex Accounting Workflows Manageable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I mainly like about Sage is its user interface, because it’s very easy to identify the fields and carry out the required activities. I’ve been using Sage for the last 2.5 years, and I’m very satisfied with it. In my previous client, I worked mostly on AR and GL, where I did an automation related to deferred revenue with 1000’s of line items. This helped us solve the issue of maintaining huge Excel files for the schedules. I’ve currently moved to AP and I’m continuing to learn more.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I felt the only issue I faced was on the reporting side. On the front end, pulling reports and selecting dates is very good. However, on the back end, the reporting customization feels a bit outdated, and it’s very difficult to understand the fields and implement them properly.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest help for me has been with multi-entity accounting—especially intercompany entries, balance checks, and multi-currency postings. These are very good features that I really liked. I also worked on DR automation, which was successful. Along with that, I’ve seen Avalara and Bill.com integrations with Sage as well.

  ### 17. Powerful Multi-Entity Accounting with Excellent Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hitesh P. | Senior Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Strong multi-entity management and dimensional reporting capabilities, complemented by powerful automation features such as Bank Feeds and comprehensive import templates for almost every transaction type.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Nothing significant to dislike about Sage. The main area for improvement would be Bank Feed updates, auto-matching accuracy, and a more streamlined direct-entry functionality from bank transactions.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is solving several key challenges for us, including multi-entity financial management, consolidated reporting, and manual data-entry processes. The platform provides strong dimension-based reporting, allowing us to analyze financial data from multiple perspectives without maintaining complex account structures.

  ### 18. Game-Changing Multi-Tab Workflow and Powerful CSV Uploads

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Levi S. | Finance Supervisor and Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Being able to keep multiple tabs open for different entities within the same login is a game changer. I also really appreciate how quickly I can move between modules. The custom reports are extremely helpful once you know how to use them. The CSV uploads for checking accounts, 1099 transaction updates, adding bills, adding invoices, adding GLs, adding vendors, and adding customers are amazing and make those updates much easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

There isn’t a proper report that clearly shows which bills, or which parts of bills, are included in the 1099 filing. It seems to rely only on vendor payments, so we had to do a lot of back-and-forth to figure it out. Also, when bills or invoices are entered at the top level, different views and reports don’t show which entity they were entered under when you run a report or when you’re viewing the bill/invoice page at the top level.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our contact at Sage said they’re fixing the issue where, at the top level, you can’t see which Entity a bill or invoice was uploaded to. They also helped a lot with our inter-entity invoicing using the AI Customer emails. Any email sent to the AI Customer email automatically posts as a bill in the Entity associated with that Customer.

  ### 19. Helpful AI and Strong Controls, but Support and Integration Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel G. | Community Board Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The AI used within the Sage system is helpful, and the accounting controls are strong while still maintaining the flexibility that adds to its overall functionality.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Support, implementation, and integration have been extremely lacking. We are 6–7 months into this process, and there was no ability to pause or make changes that affected the implementation. Clear conversations and expectations about the overall process—and the steps that needed to happen in a specific order—were not communicated. The amount of money spent on the implementation fee versus the level of service we received did not feel adequate.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are still working through reporting. I feel like Sage will be a good fit but we are having to solve problems with minimal support.

  ### 20. Flexible, Powerful Reporting That Streamlines Financial Analysis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus G. | Accounting Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like most about Sage Intacct is its flexibility and strong reporting capabilities. The use of dimensions makes it easy to analyze financial data across departments, projects, or locations without creating an overly complex chart of accounts. I also appreciate how easy it is to drill down into transactions to understand where numbers are coming from. Being cloud-based and integrating well with other systems also helps streamline workflows and collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One thing I dislike about Sage Intacct is that some processes are not as intuitive as they could be, especially for new users. Certain tasks require several steps or navigating through multiple menus, which can take time to learn. Customizing reports and configurations can also require a deeper understanding of the system, so there can be a learning curve for teams that are new to the platform.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps centralize our financial data and automate several accounting processes that used to be more manual. It improves visibility into financial performance by allowing us to track results across different dimensions like departments, projects, or locations. This makes reporting more flexible and helps management get clearer insights when making decisions. It has also made our month-end close and reconciliations more organized and easier to manage.

  ### 21. Sage Intacct: Intuitive, Reliable Accounting with Real-Time Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like the ease of use the most. Sage Intacct has an intuitive interface that makes it easy to navigate and complete daily accounting tasks efficiently. Features like customizable dashboards and real-time reporting provide quick access to key financial data, which helps streamline workflows and improve accuracy.
The system’s integrations also add a lot of value, as it connects well with other platforms and helps reduce manual data entry, making processes more seamless across systems. In terms of performance, it’s reliable and allows us to manage transactions, track payments, and reconcile accounts without delays, which is critical for maintaining accurate financials.
Additionally, the support resources have been helpful when issues arise, providing guidance and solutions that allow us to stay on track. Overall, Sage Intacct improves productivity by combining ease of use, strong functionality, and dependable performance.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

While Sage Intacct is generally easy to use, some processes can feel less streamlined, especially when working through discrepancies or complex transactions. Reporting customization can also require extra time to set up. Additionally, there are times when system performance or response times can slow down during high-volume tasks, and resolving issues may require multiple support interactions.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is solving the challenge of managing and tracking financial data efficiently in one centralized system. It streamlines key processes like payment tracking, reconciliations, and reporting, which reduces the need for manual work and minimizes errors.
For me, this is especially beneficial when reviewing payments and discrepancies, as it provides clear visibility into transactions and allows for quicker identification of issues. The real-time reporting and organized data structure make it easier to analyze financial activity and ensure accuracy.
Overall, it saves time, improves efficiency, and helps maintain more reliable financial records, allowing me to focus more on resolving issues rather than spending time gathering information.

  ### 22. Streamlined Our Accounting Process Efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I use Sage Intacct for accounting, and it significantly streamlines the processes for journal entries, cutting the time by half. I am also able to easily code certain CSVs to automate entries, with small tasks requiring very little time. The setup was not stressful but very convenient, allowing me to switch over and do other immediate tasks with ease.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I think opening applications as its own page could allow for better use, and will allow for easier step-by-step instructions. I would also like to view the history of previous work up to the past 7 days.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct streamlines the process for journal entries, significantly reducing the time by half. It allows me to easily code CSVs to automate entries, making small tasks require very little time.

  ### 23. Well-Rounded Cloud Accounting with Full-Cycle Modules and Easy Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George L. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct is a well-rounded, cloud-based accounting system that includes the modules you need for full-cycle accounting. It also supports integrations with most other systems, which makes it easier to connect with the rest of your tools.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

To be honest, I’m not a fan of user-based and entity-based pricing. In my view, you should be able to buy a module that includes unlimited users and unlimited entities.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me manage the accounting for two companies within a single system.

  ### 24. Avoid Sage Intacct

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel C. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

There are very few user friendly aspects of Intacct, the ability to consolidate multiple financials quickly is something they do well.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

1. You never know what's not going to work next. Every month Sage has a new issue when trying to produce AIA style billings.
2. They claim there is one standard cost code for all jobs, this is beyond a lie. Every single job in the system has its own set of cost codes that you have to manage. We have around 400 actual cost codes but have to manage over 800,000 thanks to how they have this set up.
3. The GL interface is extremely clunky and slow for user input. They don't allow you to copy the job or the entity down so you have to input on every transaction line. Their default setting doesn't work unless ever line item is going to the same project because every job has it's own set of cost codes.
4. Researching in Intacct is slow and difficult, if you've used Sage 100 in the past this will be a huge down grade
5. The Interactive Custom Reports are a joke. Who designs a report tool that you cannot display what information was pulled in the report? What job is this, what time period, any cost codes excluded? You'll never know once you hit print.
6. Naming conventions are not consistent; there is no consistency between the names used on the Object list and what is used in the Custom reports which makes trying to build out your own reports difficult. Which is a major issue as the system comes with no stock reports.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Causes lots of problems, doesn't really solve any.

  ### 25. Easy Data Management and Consolidation in One Place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin N. | Sales Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Very easy to manage, upload, and validate data. It allows a lot of access to many features and makes not only the process easier, but the consolidation of a lot of data to be stored in one place.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Was a bit of trouble to initially get into, and some can complain about load times when processing but otherwise excellent.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidation and ease of use to get into data and managing of the files as well between different business entities.

  ### 26. Robust Cloud Connectivity, but a Frustrating VAR-Gated Migration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie D. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Cloud software with robust connectivity and set for next generation updates.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Our VAR reseller and the migration process they completed. It's not transparent, not a value add, and everything I do now has to be gated or they have access to it. It does not build trust with clients when you promise one thing and they don't deliver.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bank feeds are streamlining processes, connectivity with 3rd party apps are making updates easier and robust features makes it versatile.

  ### 27. Some great features, needs some improvements overall

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The UI interface is easy to navigate and can be customized. Sage has been very reliable, only a few times has it been down and it isn't down for long. We don't use AI for purchasing or AP but Sage has helped us to get the approvals in the system instead of outside of the system and that has been a time saver. We use are VAR support more than the Sage support but when we have gone to Sage for support or when our VAR did for an issue we are having and they couldn't fix it, it can take a little bit to get answers on some issues but overall support is about a day turnaround. The project billing area has improved our billing to customers because we can bill by billing rates or by cost with a mark up.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One improvement the purchasing approvals could use, would be to be able to send reminders that something is waiting for approval. The invoice templates in word could be better, using merged fields I get but finding the right field and getting things to line up or group similar lines could be better. We currently have a couple other Sage products SEM and Sage Forms & Flows that are integrated with Sage Intacct and we have had a few issues with what we were expecting and what could actually be done within the price of the software. In Sage the tasks are part of the project so there is a relationship between the two but then when you use third party products (SEM, Limelight, etc.) it doesn't map up and there is a a lot more manual work to update or main the relationships. Budgets in Sage are not easy to see, delete, or update if needed.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage is working on AI Intelligence which we are not currently using. They are also acquiring more third party software like SEM so we can have better expense management for credit cards and reimbursable expenses. SEM has benefited us but again there is some manual maintain because dimensions/fields don't flow over as easy as you would think.

  ### 28. Difficult Setup and Cumbersome Payment Process

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I appreciate Sage Intacct for the 'create and matching rules' feature, which removes a step in the process for me, especially with recurring transactions.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Overall, Sage Intacct is cumbersome to use, and the implementation was difficult. Below are the main issues, grouped by area. Usability and screen limitations: Many screens do not let you widen or sort columns to view all details or export to Excel to check for errors (the OE transaction definition screen is one example). Columns should be adjustable and sortable everywhere. Transaction editing: The system locks down transactions at various points, so you cannot edit a GL account, department, or other dimension without creating a separate GL Entry that cannot reference the original transaction via hyperlink. Once you have paid a credit card statement, you cannot edit any of the credit card transaction's GL account, location, or department. You must create a GL Entry that cannot reference the original transaction, which risks duplicate correcting entries and a clunky audit trail. The prepaid module cannot generate prepaids from credit card transactions and thus must be created manually. The financial reports set up by the implementation team are layered with unnecessary account groupings and classification. Users have to map items to item groups to GL account to GL groups to financial statement groups...high likelihood of error. When you add a new GL account, you tell the system what kind of account it is and where it belongs. But if the financial statements were set up to only extract certain accounts and this is outside that group (no error to the user), it will cause the financial statements to run that are out of balance or don't foot. At a minimum, the system should identify accounts with transactions missing from the statements and include an "unidentified' account to flag the user. Receiving and applying payments is cumbersome and slow. For transactions coming through the bank feed, the user should not have to re-enter the transaction date, amount, or payor on a separate screen. QuickBooks' AI recognizes recurring transactions and asks the user where to apply a rule in the future to eliminate this step. In Sage, you must manually create the rule, assign it to a rule set, and work across separate screens. The system does not recognize which modules are configured and hide the inactive ones. For example. we don't use purchasing or inventory. When setting up an OE item, it requires you to link it to an Inventory GL group and then also to a GL account. We do not use warehouses, yet every transaction still shows a warehouse field. Finally, when new releases come out, Sage doesn't update production to highlight these new changes and point them out /highlight them to users who haven't read the release notes. If there is a release for a change that must be made to your configuration, it should be identified on a company-specific list of things to check/verify.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for accounting, mainly to create month-end financial statements. It removes a step in recurring transactions by creating and matching rules, saving me time.

  ### 29. Efficient Accounting with Stellar Intercompany Functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela S. | Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I use Sage Intacct for accounting, and I really like its intercompany functionality, which has helped me save a lot of time. The workflow and transaction allocations features are useful. Integration was smooth, thanks to its compatibility with ADP and RAM, and the initial setup was fairly easy with helpful implementation support.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Some limitations but they are being resolved

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for accounting, and the workflow approvals and transaction allocations save me a lot of time.

  ### 30. Efficient Expense Management with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct allows for using dynamic allocations to split expenses across different funds and automatically handles project allocations based on ownership, which saves time and effort. The software also automatically flows billable expenses to the AR module, invoicing customers for reimbursement, which is very convenient. I also appreciate that it integrates with Concur, allowing T&E expenses to flow in with allocations automatically. Additionally, with a bridge between Concur and Sage Intacct, the system works well together, bringing over all expenses with the allocation codes, and Sage Intacct automatically splits the expenses based on that data.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The system is not capable of building out full financials. While it can run some reports, they aren't dynamic in any way. I can build a report to pull in P&L data for an Income Statement, but I can't set it up to display properly or sort the order of expense categories. It's also difficult to look through; you can't click into a category to see what makes up those expenses—you have to search the right parameters independently. We bought ICRW to help with this, but it's so sticky to use that it's not worth the time. The modules don't communicate perfectly with each other; for example, notes added to a new vendor file don't carry over when it's approved.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct to automatically allocate expenses across funds and manage billing through dynamic project allocations, which splits expenses pro-rata to customers. It integrates with Concur for seamless T&E expenses allocation.

  ### 31. Powerful Financial Automation and Visibility, But a Learning Curve and Higher Cost

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like best about Sage Intacct is how much it simplifies and automates financial management. The platform provides strong visibility into real-time financial data, which makes reporting, budgeting, and decision-making much faster and more accurate. One of the biggest upsides is the automation of repetitive accounting tasks like accounts payable, approvals, consolidations, and recurring entries, which saves time and reduces manual errors. The cloud-based system is also very user-friendly and accessible from anywhere, making collaboration easier across teams and locations. Another major benefit is its customizable dashboards and reporting capabilities. Users can quickly generate detailed financial reports without needing extensive manual work, and integrations with other business systems help streamline operations even further. Overall, it improves efficiency, scalability, and financial visibility for growing organizations.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One downside of Sage Intacct is that the platform can have a learning curve, especially for new users or teams without strong accounting or ERP experience. Some advanced features and customizations can feel complex and may require additional training or support to fully utilize. Another challenge is that reporting and integrations, while powerful, sometimes require technical setup or administrator involvement. The system can also become expensive as companies add more modules, users, or custom functionality. In some cases, users may find the interface less intuitive compared to newer modern software platforms, and certain workflows can involve multiple steps. Overall, while the software is very capable, the biggest downsides are complexity, implementation time, and cost for smaller organizations.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is solving a lot of the manual and time-consuming accounting challenges that come with managing financial operations. It helps automate processes like accounts payable, invoicing, approvals, consolidations, and reporting, which reduces manual work, minimizes errors, and saves significant time for the finance team. One of the biggest benefits is the real-time visibility into financial data. Instead of relying on spreadsheets or waiting until month-end, users can access dashboards and reports instantly, making it easier to track performance, cash flow, and budgets and make faster business decisions. Sage Intacct is also helping organizations scale more efficiently by centralizing financial data in one cloud-based system. Multi-entity management, integrations with other business tools, and automated workflows improve collaboration and make it easier to manage growing operations without adding as much manual overhead. Personally, the benefit is improved efficiency, more accurate reporting, faster financial close processes, and the ability to spend more time on analysis and strategic work instead of repetitive administrative tasks.

  ### 32. Efficient Accounting with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I use Sage Intacct primarily for managing core accounting functions such as general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. It's especially valuable for automating processes like invoice management, expense tracking, and consolidations across entities. I like its real-time reporting and ease of automations, as it makes it simple to access accurate financial data quickly, while reducing manual work and improving overall efficiency. I also really like its user-friendly interface and flexibility. It's easy to customize reports and workflows, and it integrates well with other systems, which makes managing financial processes much smoother. The integration with tools like expense management and CRM systems works well and helps streamline data flow, reduce manual entry, and keep everything more aligned across teams.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One area that could be improved is the user interface, which can feel a bit dated and less intuitive for new users. Reporting customization, while powerful, can sometimes be complex to set up. Additionally, certain processes and integrations can require extra configuration or support to get working smoothly.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct to manage core accounting functions and automate processes like reporting and consolidations, reducing manual work and errors. It provides real-time reporting, improving visibility and decision-making, strengthens controls with audit trails, and enhances efficiency and scalability.

  ### 33. Comprehensive Financial Solution with Custom Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like Sage Intacct as a great all-in-one system for our finance operations. I find the custom report writer really useful because it allows us to create the reports we need, and the dashboards are helpful for our finance team and cost center managers to look at their financials at a glance. The system is very reliable with limited to no downtime and no glitches, which is important for our workflow. I also appreciate how the reports help track deferred income and assist with our audits and charity tax filings, giving us the necessary information easily.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The bank sync can be buggy sometimes, and some bank transactions don't sync. The bank seems to get deauthorized too regularly, and it takes a while to re-authenticate and resync it. One big thing I wish is that Sage Intacct worked the same way across all modules - Purchasing, AP, Expense, etc. Each module is kind of set up differently, and taxes and settings work differently across them. The initial setup was not easy because our instance is quite complex as a Canadian nonprofit that needs to track many dimensions for grant/project tracking.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps us keep track of grant spending, manage AP and AR, create EFT payment runs, and track budget to actuals.

  ### 34. Sage Intacct: A Helpful Tool with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I really enjoy using Sage Intacct because it makes managing financial information much easier and more organized. The cloud-based system is user-friendly, and I find it convenient to access from anywhere, which is helpful for keeping things up to date. I like how it provides clear reports and detailed insights that make it simple to track expenses, revenues, and overall financial health. It has definitely streamlined processes that used to take much longer, and I feel more confident knowing the information is accurate and reliable. Overall, Sage Intacct has been a positive tool for me, and I appreciate how it supports efficiency and better decision-making.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The only challenge I’ve found is that some of the reporting functions can be a bit complex at first, and they take extra time to learn.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps solve several problems related to managing financial information and reporting. It centralizes data in one cloud-based system, reducing the time spent on manual tracking and eliminating errors from using multiple spreadsheets. It also provides detailed reporting and real-time insights, making it easier to understand financial performance and make informed decisions

**Official Response from Brock Faucette:**

> Thanks so much for your thoughtful, thorough review. We're so pleased Sage Intacct is helping you and your team save time and energy--all while helping you deliver accurate information so quickly!

  ### 35. Automation in Sage Intacct Has Greatly Boosted Our Accounting Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haley D. | Accounting Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

There are many factors that contribute to why I like Sage Intacct, but above all, the biggest benefit has been my company’s increased efficiency thanks to Sage’s automation. Sage automates key accounting processes such as accounts payable, invoicing, and reconciliations, which has reduced manual work and helped minimize errors.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

While Sage Intacct is a powerful tool, the interface can feel somewhat outdated and unintuitive compared with newer cloud platforms. Training the team and learning all the modules we needed also took more time than we expected, which made the overall ramp-up less efficient.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our company continues to grow, Sage Intacct has been able to handle the added complexity that comes with it, including our expanding list of vendors, currencies, and locations. Without this software, I can’t imagine how many roadblocks I would have otherwise encountered.

  ### 36. Powerful, Flexible Financial Platform with Room to Grow on Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like best about Sage Intacct is the combination of a clean, intuitive interface with genuinely powerful reporting. The dimensional structure is a game-changer — being able to slice financials by location, department, project, or any custom dimension without needing a separate chart of accounts for every cut keeps things clean and scalable.
The real-time visibility is also a huge win. I can pull current financial data whenever I need it rather than waiting on month-end, which makes decision-making much faster. The customizable dashboards and report writer let me build exactly the views I need, and the cloud-based access means our team can work from anywhere without compromise.
It's a system that scales with you — equally capable for day-to-day transactional work and for executive-level analysis.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The biggest gap for me is the Project module — it needs to be significantly more robust. For organizations doing meaningful project-based work, the functionality falls short of what the rest of the platform delivers.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct has solved several core problems for us. First, it gave us a single source of truth for financial data across multiple branches and entities, eliminating the manual consolidation work and spreadsheet gymnastics we used to rely on. The dimensional reporting structure means we can analyze performance by branch, department, or service line without maintaining a bloated chart of accounts.

  ### 37. Intuitive Dashboard, Consultants Recommended for Reporting Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like most that Sage Intacct allows us to keep track of everything really easily. We use the dashboard feature to create a snapshot for each project we're working on, which is super helpful for our construction company. Each project has a dashboard that provides estimated costs along with actual costs and what our anticipated profit margin is. It includes visual charts that are really useful.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I find the customer reporting a little bit frustrating because I have to rely on a consultant or someone who really knows what they're doing to create custom reports. Also, the bank feed integration feature could use some improvement. We have a Chase card that won't stay linked, so we have to enter transactions manually instead of having them imported automatically for us.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct to create financial statements, track accounts payable, and project costing. I like that it allows us to keep track of everything really easily.

  ### 38. Solid Accounting Tool with Potential Integration Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct has significantly improved our ability to track and manage expense with greater accuracy. I particularly value its ability to store and link supporting documentation, which helps streamline processes and audit preparation. Additionally, the availability of third-party integrations allows us to extend the platform's functionality and address a variety of organizational needs.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One of the primary challenges has been the training and onboarding experience. The added cost associated with additional modules can be difficult to justify without sufficient guidance and support. We have experienced challenges with integration and implementation, and some aspects of the onboarding process remain ongoing even after several years of use.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps centralize and streamline our financial processes by improving expense tracking, reporting accuracy and overall accounting efficiency. For our nonprofit organization, it provides better visibility into financial data while also enabling us to securely store and access supporting documentation.

  ### 39. Intuitive and Feature-Rich—Helps Us Consolidate Systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The system is intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes it simple to learn on my own. At the Sage conference, I discovered a lot of useful features that should replace some of the systems we’re currently using and help us consolidate more.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I think there are still some industries where Sage isn’t particularly strong yet, so it’s not really designed for every industry. That said, for the specific industries it does support well, it can be very beneficial. I also wish the basic package included more features, instead of having to purchase additional features individually.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel like Sage is shifting from doing the work to reviewing it. I agree that AI will replace a lot of jobs, potentially almost all of them, but I think we’re reaching a point where AI should handle most of the “doing,” while humans focus more on reviewing.

  ### 40. Dynamic Allocations Make Expense Spreading Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David E. | Accounting Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Dynamic allocations allow us to spread expenses with a click, rather than using large excel files and tedious calculations.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The financial reporting in Sage is antiquated. The report builder could be much easier to use and the report layouts are fine by accountants to review, but not something you'd want to give to the board.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage allowed us to track payroll in detail while putting limitations on who can view it. It also automated intercompany to/from and indirect expense charge-outs.

  ### 41. Powerful, Easy-to-Use Platform with Great Performance and Amazing Onboarding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that it has a lot of functionality and it has significant integration partners. The UI/UX is easy to use, but could be easier, and more graphic rather than just text. I find the performance of the system to be great, and has a lot of different ways to do the same thing. I find the pricing to be expensive, but in terms of ROI - its worth it. Our onboarding support from AVT has been amazing. I wish the AI had already rolled out.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Expensive modules, too many 3rd party integrations that are not quite advertised as 3rd party.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic reporting at the push of a button. Internal controls.

  ### 42. Sage Intacct: Customizable, Easy to Use, and Makes Reporting a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intactt is highly customizable while still being easy to use. When we implemented it, we were able to reduce our chart of accounts by more than 3,000 accounts by using dimensions. Reporting is a breeze, and every staff member on our team has a custom dashboard so they always know exactly where their budget stands and can drill down to the underlying transactions.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I honestly don’t have anything I dislike about Sage Intacct. Overall, it’s been a clear improvement in every way compared with the platform we were using before.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct has taken our reporting to a new level. It saves me a ton of time thanks to automations and third-party applications that sync seamlessly to the general ledger. My non-accounting team members can easily access the information they need, and because it was built for accountants by accountants, I feel confident I can trust the process.

  ### 43. Easy to Navigate, Smooth Intercompany Journal Entries

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa M. | VP of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage is very easy to navigate, and working within separate entities is a breeze. I especially appreciate how smooth it is to handle automated intercompany journal entries.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I’m not very happy with the support, especially when it comes to my automatic banking transactions. They haven’t been working, and my interactions with support have left me feeling like they don’t genuinely want to resolve the issue.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intercompany accounts staying in balance - LOVE it.

  ### 44. Powerful Grant Tracking, But Implementation and Editing Flexibility Matter

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The ability to use different dimensions and tools to categorize and record transactions. Tracking multiple different grants can be done effortlessly (if done correctly)

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Implementation is KEY. Using the wrong onboarding company can make or break your sage experience. If set up incorrectly, fixing what is wrong can be very hard considering the high level of detail with every transaction. I also dislike the flexibility (or lack there of) when it comes to editing booked transactions - inability to change the dates or certain reclassing due to maintaning the audit trail.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Non profit reporting and grant tracking, this can be a huge game changer for accounting systems

  ### 45. Seamless Automation and Instant Reporting with Sage Intacct

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I really look forward to all the automation and AI features coming out with Sage Intacct. I love how, in my last job using Sage, reports updated quickly and how it was easy to pull any information needed. I could dive deeper into a number by just clicking it, and the invoice or bill would pop up, which was super convenient. I've really enjoyed using Sage Intacct so far. I've also had a good experience previously using Sage Intacct with bill.com, and we're exploring other integration options with API automation tools and connecting it to our EMR. This implementation has gone great, and I'm excited about getting my hands on the data and dimensions features.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct simplifies our accounting with automation and AI features. It allows easy report updates and quick access to information. We're switching from Microsoft Great Plains for its invoice creation and advanced reporting features, which were lacking in Excel.

  ### 46. Sage Intacct for Multi Entity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like how easy the software is to navigate through and use. It has solutions for all of our needs whether it's native to Intacct or an add-on through a third party integration. I also like the Global consolidations and easy to customize reports. If there is not a report already available, it can be created.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The multi currency functionality is a little limiting, but there are work arounds to make everything work. I think they could stand to improve that functionality. I also wish there were more options native to Intacct rather than having to implement a third party.

**Recommendations to others considering Sage Intacct:**

It's a great software. If you're good at researching and solving problems/issues that may arise, they have a great help feature. It's capable of integrating with many other softwares/solutions and very easy to use.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a lot of manual entry problems we previously had. Intacct has provided a lot of time saving processes for our company in terms of creating and sending out invoices on a monthly basis.

  ### 47. Highly Intuitive with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda C. | Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct is relatively intuitive and easy to navigate. Entries are quite simple, and the software has a lot of additional features we can utilize. I'm excited about the AI copilot functionality and utilizing partners like LEXO for reporting. I also really like that it's quite quick to get to book entries and additional reports, and functions quickly for close. Since switching from CCH, which wasn't very intuitive and had poor reporting, Sage Intacct has been significantly better. The initial setup was good, and working with the implementation team was a great partnership. Overall, it's been a really good tool for us.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I would like more interactive functionality within Sage Intacct's core system, instead of needing it as an add-on for recording.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for RTL accounting, budget review, and reporting. It's intuitive and easy to navigate, with simple entries, and offers many additional features.

  ### 48. Transformed Our Accounting Processes Seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corinne B. | Practice Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I love how Sage Intacct has transformed our accounting functions, especially with the ability to edit general ledger journal entries, which has been fantastic. It used to be a hassle with reversals when there were errors, but now not having to make so many duplicate entries to fix one issue has been a game changer. My favorite feature is definitely the bank recons; the connection to the cloud and the rule setup have saved me days on my bank recons because I have multiple accounts. The initial setup was in-depth, but the team that helped me was fantastic, and it was worth it since Sage Intacct has been the best software program I've used. I recently switched from Sage 100, which felt like going from the stone age to the electric age, and that was a fantastic move for us. Plus, the integration with ServiceTitan for PO entry and ARs is pretty smooth, so I really don't need to do much AR in Intacct. All of this makes Sage Intacct a solid 10 out of 10 for me.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I'm trying to think of what we could improve on. We have an integration with a third-party company, and I'd say the most difficult part is the order entry. It is not as easily manageable and editable when you're doing the auditing process as when you're in bills.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for accounting. It solves general ledger issues, reducing duplicate entries. Editing journal entries is easy. Bank recons connect to the cloud, automatically linking and saving me days of work.

  ### 49. Streamlined Accounting with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reuben R. | Vice President of Accounting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct is in the cloud, making it fast and efficient for processing data compared to our previous software, which was more clunky and took longer. I really like the user interface and how easy it is to navigate around the software to find what you need. I also really like the reporting options Sage Intacct offers. The most valuable user interface option for me is the workflow area, which shows the different steps of how transactions go through the software. It's a great way for me to train new hires on how the system works and how things move throughout Sage Intacct.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I think that on the approved payments screen, we should be able to allow certain types of payments to go through without being approved. For example, record transfers are automatically pulled out of our account, so they're preapproved. However, I'm not able to let those go through preapproved, and I have to approve them.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct because it's cloud-based, fast, and efficient for data processing. The workflow feature is great for training new hires, and the user interface is easy to navigate. It replaced our clunky system, enhancing efficiency significantly.

  ### 50. Essential for Multi-Entity Financial Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terri R. | Business Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I love that Sage Intacct has clear application and integrates with most systems I use outside my financial platform. It has resolved the reporting issues we had previously for multi-entity business transactions, shortening the close time tremendously and allowing us a real-time view into our financials on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I use imports in Sage Intacct and initially they would send you an error message when your import had errors, but never described what the error was. My only input on imports would be that they would have a preformatted import that allows unnecessary information to be removed and only necessary information added. Initially, we struggled because we didn’t understand the dimensions and how it would work for us because we were going from one entity to 28 and everything was new to us.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct resolves reporting issues for multi-entity transactions, shortens close time, and provides real-time financial views. I love its integration with other systems. It now defines import errors, but I wish it had a preformatted import option. I highly recommend it for multi-entity or nonprofit needs.
