## Sage Intacct Reviews
  ### 1. Sage Intacct Brilliant

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | Finance Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct is user-friendly and offers a help section that’s easy to navigate. Creating custom reports that are auto-generated for the credit control team has saved hours of work each month. Payment runs are also easier and faster; instead of manually setting up individual payments, they can be completed by importing a file, which reduces the chance of payments being missed. The bank line feeds have saved a lot of time as well, especially once we set rules so they apply to the correct customer.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Sometimes when an error pops up, it’s not always clear where to go to solve the problem. There’s also occasional downtime when the bank feeds don’t show up, or they come through later in the day. It doesn’t happen often, and to be fair everything has little niggles now and again.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time is important in any role, and the manual processes we had in place have now been replaced with a much slicker workflow. From importing bank feeds to creating weekly payment files, everything feels more accurate and efficient.

  ### 2. New Accounting software review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry M. | Assistant Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

There aren't really any new features that we are using on a regular basis unfortunately.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The search function in AR/AP is overly sensitive. For example if searching for an invoice with John Doe as the description, if I search just 'Doe' nothing will come up. It should display all invoices with Doe in the description. There should be a setting to alter this if needed.
The custom reporting module is quite complicated at times. I wouldn't describe it as an intuitive easy-to-use solution. It might be better to explore alternatives via the Sage marketplace with some sort of 3rd party report editor.
AR bulk imports have become quite slow. We require imports of 5000 lines plus for receipts, but these can now take upwards of 30 mins each to be imported. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this.. it may just be a limitation of the import method.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage intacct allows us to utilise its features to help analyse the finances of the business more effectively and report on them to management.

**Official Response from Sam Dempster:**

> Hi Harry,

Thanks for your feedback, I'll pass your feedback onto our product and UX teams to try and address the repetitive nature of some of our training content.

Thanks again and best wishes
Sam

  ### 3. Time-Saving Custom Reports and Dashboards That Simplify Our GL

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob G. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Custom financial reports, dashboards, and drill-down capabilities save significant time. I can report by department, location, project, or fund without creating thousands of GL accounts. I find our GL has simplified after implementation.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Reporting has a learning curve. Some reporting capabilities have required we pay an outside consultant to write for us. The largest complaint we have about Sage Intacct is the customer service model. Calling a 800 line and waiting in queue to speak to a representative that does not know me or my business is not ideal in the line of business we are in. Sage Intacct could learn from their peers and other 3rd parties here.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated dashboards have eliminated spreadsheets outside the Business Office which has made department collaboration highly improved.

Reduced close time by automating recurring entries, allocations, consolidations, and reconciliations.

  ### 4. Highly Customizable Workflows with Smart Rules, Integrations, and Strong Intercompany Accounting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea S. | Director Of Finance And Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

You can customize pretty much everything, which helps the software work the way our business needs it to. We rely on a lot of smart rules to link data together, and that flexibility makes a big difference in day-to-day workflows. There are also a ton of integrations available. For example, we integrate Ramp for AP and Ripping for payroll. Lastly, the intercompany accounting is great: we can pay bills from any entity, and the intercompany engine handles the work of allocating expenses to the correct entity, regardless of where the bills are paid.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The fixed asset module is not internally developed, and it feels clunky and not very intuitive. We are in the real estate business and have a lot of fixed assets, and we’ve struggled to find solutions that work well for our workflow. They also seem slow to roll out new features. I understand they are working on a new, internally developed fixed asset platform that will be fully integrated with the Sage workflow, but it hasn’t been rolled out yet, and I believe it has been well over a year—possibly two.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage uses AI for bill coding, which is great. We can also build a ton of custom reports for analysis, and that has been very helpful.

  ### 5. Easy to Learn, Fast, and Great Value with Helpful Training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shakiel M. | Finance administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage university offers a lot of training and education, even as a first-time user with little training it was easy to learn, understand and get started.
The interface is easy to use and not all jumbled and cluttered. The pages load fast and my edits are reflected quite fast. The ai offered makes automation easier to use and understand. For what it offers the price is good and you definitely get a good bang for your buck. I havent used any integrations as yet however when I become a bit more comfortable I will definitely implement it in my workflows as it also looks easy to use

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

For me its personal, I would like to be able to customize my workpages more and add more personality, however i acknowledge that this does not really affect the actual use of the product

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage makes our billing processes easier and helps streamline our financials. It definitely saved us a lot of time especially during audit periods. It makes our financials easier to understand at a glance due to the dashboards feature. Also exporting to excel has never been easier and the format it arrives in is already mostly clean.

  ### 6. Powerful Automation, Great Visibility, and Easy Navigation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaun M. | Head of Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

It has so much capability and automation, which is fantastic given we were in Sage50 before, which is limited in functionality. It will give us greater control and visibility, which is vital. It has really good integration across the platform and with our other softwares. The user interface is really easy tp use and navigate. The support and onboarding has been tough but really good, we have had a lot of support from our implementation partner (Baker Tilly), which has been massively valuable. The pricing is actually very reasonable too and comparable with other similar products, which means out ROI is great.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

It is a hell of a lot of work to get it implemented and embedded, which takes an enormous amount of headspace. It is also odd that there isn't a direct automated way of taking data out of Sage50 into Intacct as they are both Sage products. That could certainly do with being improved.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Day to day performance is so much faster than it previously was. The team can move through day to day transactions in a much quicker way that in Sage 50. The inbuild AI and intelligence is really helpful and leads to a quicker resolution to problems than previously.

  ### 7. Small Organization, Big Software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fine Art | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The complexities of Sage never cease to amaze us at this organization. It's possible that our adoption was too ambitious, with a small team of three in finance. The upkeep required to maximize the potential of the product across the organization is so great that we have not been able to implement fully three years in. It is an incredibly powerful software best suited for mid-size to larger organizations.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

User experience and integration of elements across modules is still greatly challenging. The way Sage requires upkeep of at least four separate elements to interconnect and perform any process is maddening. For such a large and expensive product, the customization is incredibly vast but comes at the cost of efficiency of use. Mistaken modification of any element breaks other parts of the user experience. I am not keen to trust a product that requires professional intervention any time a change is required. We have gotten by largely self-sufficiently, but not without great challenge.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage is giving a new rich approach to fund accounting. Having insight to budgetary implications in real time is invaluable. Streamlining our AP process is also very valuable

  ### 8. Streamlining Financial Management with Sage Intacct

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendrys R. | FP&A Manager, Railroad Manufacture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like best about Sage Intacct is its user-friendly interface, powerful reporting capabilities, and real-time financial visibility. It helps streamline processes, reduce manual work, and make faster, more informed business decisions.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The main area for improvement is that some features can take time to learn, especially when creating customized reports or navigating more advanced functions. A more intuitive setup process and additional built-in guidance would make the user experience even better.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is helping us streamline financial processes, reduce manual work, and improve the accuracy and visibility of our financial data. Its reporting and automation capabilities allow us to save time, monitor performance more effectively, and make faster, better-informed business decisions.

  ### 9. Customizable and Consolidation-Ready for Multi-Entity Orgs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel H. | Accounting Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like how Sage Intacct allows for a certain level of customization from the ground up, particularly with detailed integrated data points such as managing different dimensions and reporting structures. The seamless consolidation of our entities is impressive. It also offers really clear and defined controls within each of our operating cycles, like revenue and expense management, as well as invoicing and purchase orders.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I think there are certain add-on modules within Sage Intacct that could require improvement, such as the prepaid module and the fixed asset module. Even though they are detailed for entering and processing items, they sometimes can't withstand the volume of accounts, additions, or adjustments. It could use fewer clicks and ways to pull in additions automatically or make the right adjustments.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I handle accounting workflows with Sage Intacct, which simplifies processes like month-end close and expense management. It provides clear controls, customizes dimensions, and consolidates entities for our multi-entity organization.

  ### 10. Fast, Reliable Cloud Hosting with Seamless Multi-Entity Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrrell F. | Certified Public Accountant - Tax & Forensic Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The multi-entity integration, automated elimination entries, and the cloud based hosting that is fast & reliable to have multiple users working in the system at one time.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Implementation was a bit challenging in terms of the team who provided it. They didn't seem well versed in the program. We had someone on our team guiding the process, which thankfully worked out because she had just been to Sage Future and the system is relatively user friendly. It's more expensive than I would like to see..more transparent pricing would really make it better rather than just offering massive discounts.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intercompany entity accounting, accessibility for multiple users, imported transaction simplicity. Custom scope for recurring transactions

  ### 11. Sage Intacct: Scalable Financial Control with Powerful Dimensional Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad O. | Accounting Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like most about Sage Intacct is how effectively it brings together financial control and scalability with perfect UI for teams across the world without being feeling overly rigid with reasonable pricing and return on investment, while the support team is also tremendous and readily available.

A few standout areas:

Dimensional accounting
This is probably the biggest differentiator. Instead of creating endless GL accounts, you can analyze transactions by dimensions like entity, department, project, customer, location, or employee. Reporting becomes dramatically cleaner and more flexible.

Strong multi-entity and consolidation capabilities
Intercompany accounting, currency handling, and entity-level reporting are much smoother compared to many mid-market ERPs. For growing international businesses, this is a huge unlock.

Reporting flexibility
Custom dashboards and real-time financial visibility are excellent. Finance teams can move closer to decision support rather than just transaction processing.

Open ecosystem and integrations
It integrates well with tools like Salesforce, payroll systems, expense platforms, and BI tools including Power BI and other FP&A tools. That makes it powerful for building finance automation stacks.

Cloud-native architecture
No heavy on-prem maintenance drama. Updates are smoother, accessibility is better, and remote finance operations become easier.
Audit trail and controls

The system maintains strong auditability and role-based controls, which is valuable from both governance and compliance perspectives. All the way, it is now going towards building AI landscape within Sage's existing capabilities for which I am really excited to look into.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

What I dislike most about Sage Intacct is that sometimes it feels like an incredibly powerful finance engine wrapped inside workflows that still require too many clicks, workarounds, and consulting hours.

The biggest pain points I’ve seen repeatedly from finance teams and user reviews:

Heavy reliance on add-ons and consultants
Many advanced workflows, custom reporting needs, or operational capabilities require additional modules, partner support, or paid consulting. Costs can snowball faster than expected.

Some workflows feel unnecessarily rigid
Editing transactions, handling approvals, bank reconciliations, and intercompany processes can sometimes involve too many steps or reversals. Users frequently mention friction in day-to-day operational accounting.

Permissions and controls can become cumbersome
Strong controls are good for governance, but users sometimes feel basic tasks become overly permission-dependent.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's best suited for our business as we are operating in consulting services company spread across multiple countries in Asia and Americas. It enables us managing thousands of timesheets smoothly where we invoice them to customers while keeping in line all the existing operational accounting procedures with real time performance across all regions.

  ### 12. Robust Multi-Entity Capabilities, But Reporting Could Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua D. | Senior Accountant / System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like Sage Intacct's strong advance consolidations, which are probably one of the highest value areas. I enjoy the cloud-based administration and prefer configuration over customization. The integration capabilities and reporting flexibility are also great, along with a solid audit trail and controls. I appreciate the customer advisory board relationship we have. If I had to summarize my top favorite things about Sage Intacct, they would be multi-entity consolidation, dimensional financial reporting, and cloud-based administration. The multi-entity consolidation really cuts down on time since without Intacct, consolidating would require exporting trial balances from multiple entities and a lot more manual work.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

But drilling down in our intercompany balances is not as what we had hoped. The drilling down of our consolidation can be complex and hard to navigate. Just the native reporting has limitations. Intacct reporting is good, but leadership and operational teams often want more advanced analytics. Custom dashboards, which is why Aqua continues to leverage Snowflake, SSRS, and Excel, are needed. Troubleshooting integrations can still be challenging, with examples like API failures and import errors being laborious to resolve. Workflow flexibility is an issue as Intacct workflows handle common finance needs well, but highly customized business processes sometimes require external automation, middleware solutions, or manual review steps. It isn't the operational system of record, and with large data volumes from our business, a lot of things have to be imported on a summary basis, which means work with Snowflake to get a more detailed outlook. Occasionally, users may find navigation isn't always intuitive, and some configurations require specialized knowledge.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for managing financials, general ledger, and reporting. It saves time with multi-entity consolidations, eliminating manual reconciliations and supporting growth with advanced features.

  ### 13. Time-Saving Drill-Downs, but Support and Implementation Gaps Are Costly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct makes corrections to entries easy. Also, the ability to drill into invoice detail on expense line items saves time and effort. The drill capability on financial statement line items also saves time related to variances, etc.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

If your implementation team is not top-notch, you will not receive a second chance. We recently switched to our third support team in two years. The new teams struggle to figure out what the implementation team did during the first go around. We may be stuck reimplementing the software, and Sage does not have any recourse for us. It has been frustrating and will end up costing us a pretty penny just to get the software to work the way it was intended.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage does not help solve problems. You have to rely on your support contractor. They are currently trying to help us unwind a bad implementation without having to reimplement. We have our fingers crossed that this team will help us make significant improvements.

  ### 14. Dimensional Fund Accounting and Built-In Reporting That Performs Well

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim T. | Sr. Director of US Operations, Finance & Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like most is the dimensional aspect of fund accounting, especially as a non-profit that supports many projects. I also appreciate the built-in reporting capabilities. The integration with our CRM product was efficitent on the Sage side. Overall, Sage has performed well for our reuirements.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

As a non-profit with an international footprints, we find the pricing to be steep for our Kenyan, Liberian, and Ethiopian entities.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary business problem that Sage Intacct helps us to solve in making sure that our funds are clearly aligned with donor intent. Long term, Sage Intacct will also be a critial component of having a set of consolidated financials across our organization.

  ### 15. Clean, Secure, and Easy to Integrate with Ramp and Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage's user interface is very clean, and easy to use. Many third party companies, such as Ramp and Salesforce, have integration with Sage, which makes it relatively easy to find a platform or software that will sync information to our ledgers. The required two factor authentication makes me feel there are good safeguards to protect client data. There are many places that I can go to to verify existing data is correct, from reports to ledgers.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The only downsides I've seen so far with Sage Intacct is that the enhanced view is extremely laggy, and the pages load slowly. I appreciate the added filters and informational views when using enhanced views for lists, such as the ledgers and vendor pages, however, I'm unable to click links and open them in new tabs. I work in multiple tabs, and having to use the back and forward buttons when trying to work with an already extremely slow page feels inefficient.

It would also be very nice to be able to delete an invoice, and have the invoice automatically get reversed upon deletion.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage makes it very easy to set up POs, as well as to import journals with hundreds of lines of information. Journals are easy to keep track of with individual numbers, and creating new vendors for payables is incredibly simple.

Being able to upload documentation directly to Sage for record keeping makes it easy to consolidate all our data with the relevant backup into one place, without having to hunt for it in multiple desktop folders.

Overall, Sage has made record keeping easy to follow, and backup easy to search for. All in one place too!

  ### 16. User-Friendly Accounting That Boosts Efficiency and Streamlines Approvals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

user friendly interface. great support from "help"section and "sage community" which helps us troubleshoot common problems. Improved efficiency in using accounting system and reduced manual entries. Easy batch uploads reduces time required for entries. Approvals are now electronic and reduces waste and improve performance.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I disliked the implementation stage and trying to connect with Sage staff and get additional support. Primarily when i needed something fixed it took a long time to get the correct support. First had to talk to a rep and explain the issue, that rep sent my info to another rep which then determined it would take x number of hours to complete the required, then i had to speak to a third rep to explain again what the issue was and what we need done. It like a broken telephone because some of the required gets lost in the communication. Instead of connecting to the rep that will do the work and tell you how much time it will take, there is a lot of back and forth.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its reducing staff hours required to enter accounting information in the system. A lot of the fields are automated with specific rules for department or fund. Struggled with reporting and transparency but now we can edit reports as needed.

  ### 17. Easy-to-Use Sage with Seamless Subledger-to-GL Flow and Strong Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage is very easy to use for booking journal entries and managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable subledgers. The entries flow seamlessly from the subledgers into the general ledger and trial balance which makes it easy to view and track all GL activity seamlessly. We have had no issues with Sage's performance while utilizing the application.
Sage has a lot of integration capabilities and we've been able to successfully integrate with multiple third parties to improve our data flow into Sage. We integrated both Airbase and Ramp for expense management and had no issues with the data flow into Sage.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

There are a couple modules that do not have approval workflows, such as Accounts Receivable and the cash receipts aspect of Cash Management. We wish there was the ability to add approvals on AR before the invoices post to the general ledger. Also, we have occasionally had issues with support and getting issues resolved quickly as the tickets do not always get addressed timely or effectively.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage act as a solid Financial Reporting System for us, enabling us to track and report on all of our financial activity. It solves our need for monthly reporting, financial close process and approvals for AP, Cash Management and General Ledger activity. We are able to generate monthly reports for our investor reporting and audited financial statements.

  ### 18. Efficient Non-Profit Accounting with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like the dimensions and output reports in Sage Intacct. They are particularly helpful because we can efficiently get reimbursements from grants by generating data dump reports and using pivot tables to filter by accounts and dimensions.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I wish the report periods were more flexible in Sage Intacct. It would be great if we could choose a start and end date rather than having to select from a fixed period. It would be helpful if in the columns section of the financial reports there was an option for a custom start and end date of the reporting period. Also, the initial setup of Sage Intacct was not easy because we did not have a good implementation team.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps us efficiently get reimbursements from grants by providing data dump reports and using pivot tables to filter by accounts and dimensions.

  ### 19. Intuitive for New Users with Flexible Export Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I'm new to the system in the last couple of weeks and, whilst there have been some challenges as there always is getting used to a new system, I've found it pretty intuitive and so far been able to find everything I need reasonably easily. One thing I really value are the multiple export options in different formats, for whatever is needed.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I would prefer to have some more AI intelligence (summaries and insight) baked into the system to allow for more seamless insight and automation - although it may be that I just haven't found these areas yet.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our accounting needs - the integration to our banking and CRM systems is also key in ensuring all data is accurate and complete, to allow us to meet our reporting requirements

  ### 20. Great for Multi-Entity Management, But Transaction Handling Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

One of the standout features of Sage is its ability to let you set up multiple entities within the same system, and then generate reports for each one individually. Many other accounting software options don't offer the flexibility to manage multiple entities in a single platform.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

What I find frustrating about Sage is how it handles transactions, particularly in accounts payable and receivable. The system lacks flexibility in these areas and often feels quite restrictive. For instance, if you need to unallocate a payment, you have to reverse the entire payment and then re-enter it, which is far from ideal.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct lets me manage multiple entities within a single system, which is extremely convenient. I can generate reports for just one entity or for several at once, all without having to switch platforms. With other systems, I would have to set up separate accounts for each entity and then manually compile the data myself, but Sage Intacct streamlines this entire process for me.

  ### 21. Streamlined Multi-Entity Management That Boosts Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

It allows me to manage multiple entities without having to post in multiple company files. This was a huge bottle neck for us before & has helped improve efficiency without adding labor cots

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Inflexibility in changing unused subscription models during the initial term. We contracted for the Fixed assets module & during implementation learned that 1, we were sold a tier that would not cover our number of assets and 2, that it was redundant to software our CPAs use to complete our taxes. New features have come up that we would like to swap out for the unused one, but they will not allow that.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest one was the inefficiencies and extra work that came with our previous company. It has allowed me to complete bank reconciliations & financials in about 1/3 of the time.

  ### 22. Sage Intacct

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The continued ability to connect with any endpoint in the Sage Intacct API makes it something that can scale your business because you can add in a lot of outside programs if needed to integrate or build your own.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Over the past couple of years they have really throttled their API and things are running a lot slower. I have spoken with a few reps within Sage Intacct and confirmed this. I have also spoken with other customers and they have said the same thing. And that's with us going to the rest API as well. Also the ability to get into the construction accounting is a little noxious. There's quite a few hoops to jump through.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to deliver financial statements for our multi entity clients.

  ### 23. Excellent Software, Excellent Customer Support 🙂 Exorbitant Pricing! 😡

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Having used many software platforms from accounting software, to CRM, to ERP systems, I've been able to experience a wide variety of user interfaces as well as customer support. Sage's user interface is average, in that it's fairly user friendly, but not as much as others. It requires slightly above average technical skills to use, but works great! The area where Sage Intacct excels is Customer Support! Thier response time and level of suppor to requests is excellent. Their support team provides frequent feedback and followup throughout the support process.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The only thing we dislike about Sage is their ever-increasing pricing. Over the five years we’ve been using them, the price has gone up by at least 10% each year. That isn’t sustainable, and for that reason alone we’re researching other options. Otherwise, we really like Sage and would happily stay with them, but a 10% annual increase in cost feels exorbitant.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is helping our company generate accurate Financial Statements, increase effeciencies in doing so, and decreasing the amount of time needed to do so. We also like the AI bill upload and processing service they provide.

  ### 24. Best software, bad service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Estee V. | Staff Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

You can’t compete if you have multi entity businesses however the service is bad - hard to find someone to talk to.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Have a dedicated person, when you submit a ticket someone actually answers and doesn’t point you to articles.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smooth system, all data in one place. I work for a company so I am not sure if they were ever planning on using a different software, but in my experience at other firms and using quickbooks, it is 10x more intuitive than quickbooks.

  ### 25. Effortless Onboarding and Use, But Needs Better Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robyn K. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like Sage Intacct's ease of use and navigation, which makes it simple for new users to figure out how to do things without needing much help. I also appreciate the software's features that support accounting reconciliations and project reviews all in one system. It's straightforward to learn quickly, making it easier to onboard new people who have never worked with the software. The initial setup was pretty easy, especially with the help of a robust IT team.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I find the reporting capabilities could be improved, like not being able to set a report to run as of today.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct allows us to do all of our accounting reconciliations and project review in one system.

  ### 26. Interactive Real-Time Reporting and Smooth API Transaction Transfers in Sage Intacct

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria F. | Controller/CCO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

We are in Sage InTacct on a daily bases using the Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Reporting features. I love the interactive reporting that gives me real time results if I get my information in there. With the API tools we are easily able to get transactions transferred from our policy processing platform to InTacct. We worked with a 3rd party consultant to get the API tools even more refined to get the transactions in there exactly how we wanted them. With their Help & Support feature it makes finding answers on how to use the product a brease.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Sage InTacct is a little large for all our uses. I adopted this system from my predecessor and I was not really trained in the full functionality of the tool. With our third party adoption I'm also not able to access the community forum to get information from the community, which can be a little frustrating at time.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage is assisting us in compiling our data for our annual reporting.

  ### 27. Great Financial Insights, But Reporting Access Feels Too Restricted

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I’m able to access detailed, up-to-date financial information for my projects, which allows me to analyze project costs more effectively.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

My access is limited to what leadership allows me to have. The reports are the most useful part of the system for my role, but even those are restricted to what leadership permits. As a result, I’m not able to create custom reports that would better serve my needs.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For what I use and need Sage Intacct for, it doesn’t necessarily solve any problems for me. Instead, Intacct is mainly an information source: it helps me analyze the financial aspects of my project more effectively and understand more clearly how costs impact the project budget.

  ### 28. Helpful Online Banking Integration for Easy Bank Reconciliations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** becky b. | Assistant Management Accountant / Accounts Payable, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The connection and integration with online banking is really helpful—there’s no need to manually upload statements just to do bank reconciliations.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct differs from Sage 200 and Sage 50 in terms of ease of use when viewing supplier or customer accounts to see what they currently have outstanding.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating bank reconciliation with payments is really helpful. I also appreciate how easy it is to convert payment files into a valid format that matches the bank’s template.

  ### 29. User-Friendly, Organized, and Easy to Navigate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct is genuinely user-friendly and well organized. The layout makes sense, so I can find what I need without hunting around, and the overall structure makes navigating between modules and reports feel intuitive rather than clunky.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

My main frustration is with deleting invoices. Before I can delete one, I have to expand/open it just to see all the relevant details first, rather than being able to view that information directly from the list view. It adds an extra step to what should be a quick action.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a big help with reconciliation, making it easier to match transactions and keep accounts accurate. That directly supports my daily workflow and saves me time I'd otherwise spend cross-checking things manually.

  ### 30. Reliable with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like the reliability and consistency of Sage Intacct. It's great for completing most tasks I need, although some things are hard to learn. I appreciate the easy visibility into historical records and the audit trails, despite wishing I could see exact changes made by others. Pulling large GLs is pretty easy. The ramp integration works great.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Reporting is very hard to understand. I need to do more trainings but I wish the report creator was more intuitive. Also the audit trail thing I previously mentioned. And maybe the most frustrating thing is how many buttons I have to click to get somewhere. I wish the front page was more customizable with my favorite and most used pages. And sometimes when I want to see a bill I have to click into like 8 different hyperlinks.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for all our accounting tasks. It simplifies pulling GLs for AI due to past poor accounting, provides visibility into historical records, and offers reliable audit trails.

  ### 31. Helpful AI and Strong Controls, but Support and Integration Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel G. | Community Board Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The AI used within the Sage system is helpful, and the accounting controls are strong while still maintaining the flexibility that adds to its overall functionality.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Support, implementation, and integration have been extremely lacking. We are 6–7 months into this process, and there was no ability to pause or make changes that affected the implementation. Clear conversations and expectations about the overall process—and the steps that needed to happen in a specific order—were not communicated. The amount of money spent on the implementation fee versus the level of service we received did not feel adequate.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are still working through reporting. I feel like Sage will be a good fit but we are having to solve problems with minimal support.

  ### 32. Robust Cloud Connectivity, but a Frustrating VAR-Gated Migration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie D. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Cloud software with robust connectivity and set for next generation updates.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Our VAR reseller and the migration process they completed. It's not transparent, not a value add, and everything I do now has to be gated or they have access to it. It does not build trust with clients when you promise one thing and they don't deliver.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bank feeds are streamlining processes, connectivity with 3rd party apps are making updates easier and robust features makes it versatile.

  ### 33. Some great features, needs some improvements overall

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The UI interface is easy to navigate and can be customized. Sage has been very reliable, only a few times has it been down and it isn't down for long. We don't use AI for purchasing or AP but Sage has helped us to get the approvals in the system instead of outside of the system and that has been a time saver. We use are VAR support more than the Sage support but when we have gone to Sage for support or when our VAR did for an issue we are having and they couldn't fix it, it can take a little bit to get answers on some issues but overall support is about a day turnaround. The project billing area has improved our billing to customers because we can bill by billing rates or by cost with a mark up.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One improvement the purchasing approvals could use, would be to be able to send reminders that something is waiting for approval. The invoice templates in word could be better, using merged fields I get but finding the right field and getting things to line up or group similar lines could be better. We currently have a couple other Sage products SEM and Sage Forms & Flows that are integrated with Sage Intacct and we have had a few issues with what we were expecting and what could actually be done within the price of the software. In Sage the tasks are part of the project so there is a relationship between the two but then when you use third party products (SEM, Limelight, etc.) it doesn't map up and there is a a lot more manual work to update or main the relationships. Budgets in Sage are not easy to see, delete, or update if needed.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage is working on AI Intelligence which we are not currently using. They are also acquiring more third party software like SEM so we can have better expense management for credit cards and reimbursable expenses. SEM has benefited us but again there is some manual maintain because dimensions/fields don't flow over as easy as you would think.

  ### 34. Efficient Expense Management with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct allows for using dynamic allocations to split expenses across different funds and automatically handles project allocations based on ownership, which saves time and effort. The software also automatically flows billable expenses to the AR module, invoicing customers for reimbursement, which is very convenient. I also appreciate that it integrates with Concur, allowing T&E expenses to flow in with allocations automatically. Additionally, with a bridge between Concur and Sage Intacct, the system works well together, bringing over all expenses with the allocation codes, and Sage Intacct automatically splits the expenses based on that data.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The system is not capable of building out full financials. While it can run some reports, they aren't dynamic in any way. I can build a report to pull in P&L data for an Income Statement, but I can't set it up to display properly or sort the order of expense categories. It's also difficult to look through; you can't click into a category to see what makes up those expenses—you have to search the right parameters independently. We bought ICRW to help with this, but it's so sticky to use that it's not worth the time. The modules don't communicate perfectly with each other; for example, notes added to a new vendor file don't carry over when it's approved.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct to automatically allocate expenses across funds and manage billing through dynamic project allocations, which splits expenses pro-rata to customers. It integrates with Concur for seamless T&E expenses allocation.

  ### 35. Powerful Financial Automation and Visibility, But a Learning Curve and Higher Cost

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

What I like best about Sage Intacct is how much it simplifies and automates financial management. The platform provides strong visibility into real-time financial data, which makes reporting, budgeting, and decision-making much faster and more accurate. One of the biggest upsides is the automation of repetitive accounting tasks like accounts payable, approvals, consolidations, and recurring entries, which saves time and reduces manual errors. The cloud-based system is also very user-friendly and accessible from anywhere, making collaboration easier across teams and locations. Another major benefit is its customizable dashboards and reporting capabilities. Users can quickly generate detailed financial reports without needing extensive manual work, and integrations with other business systems help streamline operations even further. Overall, it improves efficiency, scalability, and financial visibility for growing organizations.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One downside of Sage Intacct is that the platform can have a learning curve, especially for new users or teams without strong accounting or ERP experience. Some advanced features and customizations can feel complex and may require additional training or support to fully utilize. Another challenge is that reporting and integrations, while powerful, sometimes require technical setup or administrator involvement. The system can also become expensive as companies add more modules, users, or custom functionality. In some cases, users may find the interface less intuitive compared to newer modern software platforms, and certain workflows can involve multiple steps. Overall, while the software is very capable, the biggest downsides are complexity, implementation time, and cost for smaller organizations.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct is solving a lot of the manual and time-consuming accounting challenges that come with managing financial operations. It helps automate processes like accounts payable, invoicing, approvals, consolidations, and reporting, which reduces manual work, minimizes errors, and saves significant time for the finance team. One of the biggest benefits is the real-time visibility into financial data. Instead of relying on spreadsheets or waiting until month-end, users can access dashboards and reports instantly, making it easier to track performance, cash flow, and budgets and make faster business decisions. Sage Intacct is also helping organizations scale more efficiently by centralizing financial data in one cloud-based system. Multi-entity management, integrations with other business tools, and automated workflows improve collaboration and make it easier to manage growing operations without adding as much manual overhead. Personally, the benefit is improved efficiency, more accurate reporting, faster financial close processes, and the ability to spend more time on analysis and strategic work instead of repetitive administrative tasks.

  ### 36. Efficient Accounting with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I use Sage Intacct primarily for managing core accounting functions such as general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. It's especially valuable for automating processes like invoice management, expense tracking, and consolidations across entities. I like its real-time reporting and ease of automations, as it makes it simple to access accurate financial data quickly, while reducing manual work and improving overall efficiency. I also really like its user-friendly interface and flexibility. It's easy to customize reports and workflows, and it integrates well with other systems, which makes managing financial processes much smoother. The integration with tools like expense management and CRM systems works well and helps streamline data flow, reduce manual entry, and keep everything more aligned across teams.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One area that could be improved is the user interface, which can feel a bit dated and less intuitive for new users. Reporting customization, while powerful, can sometimes be complex to set up. Additionally, certain processes and integrations can require extra configuration or support to get working smoothly.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct to manage core accounting functions and automate processes like reporting and consolidations, reducing manual work and errors. It provides real-time reporting, improving visibility and decision-making, strengthens controls with audit trails, and enhances efficiency and scalability.

  ### 37. Comprehensive Financial Solution with Custom Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like Sage Intacct as a great all-in-one system for our finance operations. I find the custom report writer really useful because it allows us to create the reports we need, and the dashboards are helpful for our finance team and cost center managers to look at their financials at a glance. The system is very reliable with limited to no downtime and no glitches, which is important for our workflow. I also appreciate how the reports help track deferred income and assist with our audits and charity tax filings, giving us the necessary information easily.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The bank sync can be buggy sometimes, and some bank transactions don't sync. The bank seems to get deauthorized too regularly, and it takes a while to re-authenticate and resync it. One big thing I wish is that Sage Intacct worked the same way across all modules - Purchasing, AP, Expense, etc. Each module is kind of set up differently, and taxes and settings work differently across them. The initial setup was not easy because our instance is quite complex as a Canadian nonprofit that needs to track many dimensions for grant/project tracking.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps us keep track of grant spending, manage AP and AR, create EFT payment runs, and track budget to actuals.

  ### 38. Automation in Sage Intacct Has Greatly Boosted Our Accounting Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haley D. | Accounting Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

There are many factors that contribute to why I like Sage Intacct, but above all, the biggest benefit has been my company’s increased efficiency thanks to Sage’s automation. Sage automates key accounting processes such as accounts payable, invoicing, and reconciliations, which has reduced manual work and helped minimize errors.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

While Sage Intacct is a powerful tool, the interface can feel somewhat outdated and unintuitive compared with newer cloud platforms. Training the team and learning all the modules we needed also took more time than we expected, which made the overall ramp-up less efficient.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our company continues to grow, Sage Intacct has been able to handle the added complexity that comes with it, including our expanding list of vendors, currencies, and locations. Without this software, I can’t imagine how many roadblocks I would have otherwise encountered.

  ### 39. Solid Accounting Tool with Potential Integration Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct has significantly improved our ability to track and manage expense with greater accuracy. I particularly value its ability to store and link supporting documentation, which helps streamline processes and audit preparation. Additionally, the availability of third-party integrations allows us to extend the platform's functionality and address a variety of organizational needs.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One of the primary challenges has been the training and onboarding experience. The added cost associated with additional modules can be difficult to justify without sufficient guidance and support. We have experienced challenges with integration and implementation, and some aspects of the onboarding process remain ongoing even after several years of use.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps centralize and streamline our financial processes by improving expense tracking, reporting accuracy and overall accounting efficiency. For our nonprofit organization, it provides better visibility into financial data while also enabling us to securely store and access supporting documentation.

  ### 40. Dynamic Allocations Make Expense Spreading Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David E. | Accounting Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Dynamic allocations allow us to spread expenses with a click, rather than using large excel files and tedious calculations.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The financial reporting in Sage is antiquated. The report builder could be much easier to use and the report layouts are fine by accountants to review, but not something you'd want to give to the board.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage allowed us to track payroll in detail while putting limitations on who can view it. It also automated intercompany to/from and indirect expense charge-outs.

  ### 41. Powerful Grant Tracking, But Implementation and Editing Flexibility Matter

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

The ability to use different dimensions and tools to categorize and record transactions. Tracking multiple different grants can be done effortlessly (if done correctly)

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Implementation is KEY. Using the wrong onboarding company can make or break your sage experience. If set up incorrectly, fixing what is wrong can be very hard considering the high level of detail with every transaction. I also dislike the flexibility (or lack there of) when it comes to editing booked transactions - inability to change the dates or certain reclassing due to maintaning the audit trail.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Non profit reporting and grant tracking, this can be a huge game changer for accounting systems

  ### 42. Sage Intacct for Multi Entity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like how easy the software is to navigate through and use. It has solutions for all of our needs whether it's native to Intacct or an add-on through a third party integration. I also like the Global consolidations and easy to customize reports. If there is not a report already available, it can be created.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The multi currency functionality is a little limiting, but there are work arounds to make everything work. I think they could stand to improve that functionality. I also wish there were more options native to Intacct rather than having to implement a third party.

**Recommendations to others considering Sage Intacct:**

It's a great software. If you're good at researching and solving problems/issues that may arise, they have a great help feature. It's capable of integrating with many other softwares/solutions and very easy to use.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a lot of manual entry problems we previously had. Intacct has provided a lot of time saving processes for our company in terms of creating and sending out invoices on a monthly basis.

  ### 43. Highly Intuitive with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda C. | Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct is relatively intuitive and easy to navigate. Entries are quite simple, and the software has a lot of additional features we can utilize. I'm excited about the AI copilot functionality and utilizing partners like LEXO for reporting. I also really like that it's quite quick to get to book entries and additional reports, and functions quickly for close. Since switching from CCH, which wasn't very intuitive and had poor reporting, Sage Intacct has been significantly better. The initial setup was good, and working with the implementation team was a great partnership. Overall, it's been a really good tool for us.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I would like more interactive functionality within Sage Intacct's core system, instead of needing it as an add-on for recording.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct for RTL accounting, budget review, and reporting. It's intuitive and easy to navigate, with simple entries, and offers many additional features.

  ### 44. Great Audit Trail, Bank Integrations, and Fast Reporting for Growing Businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Great software for growing businesses. It helps to keep a better audit trail than beginner finance software such as Xero/Quickbooks etc. Good integration with banks which reduces time spent on reconciliations. Support is always dealt with in a timely manner depending upon the urgency we state. Having a "top level" company helps when doing month end reporting on performance of the business. Much quicker exporting of reports than beginner software

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

It can be lengthy when trying to perform simple tasks. For example if an adjustment on where an invoice needs to be posted is needed but the invoice has been paid and reconciled. The payment/reconciliation needs to be undone. This can take a while however as previously mentioned this is better for auditing purposes come year end

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Much cleaner and better reporting than previous systems

  ### 45. Powerful Automation, Improvable Connectivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis M. | Senior Accountant II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

It seems to me that Sage Intacct has many tools and functionalities. We switched to Sage Intacct because it has too many functionalities. While some things may be lacking, it makes up for it with many other functionalities and add-ons that the application has. It helps us a lot in the accounting area when it comes to recording, modifying, and adjusting invoices, as well as in the automated calculation of taxes and the download of complete reports. Additionally, the connection with other applications, like Rippling, allows us to synchronize transactions with corporate credit cards. I also value the greater customization option that Sage Intacct offers to create specific and detailed reports, something we didn't have with our previous software, QuickBooks.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

It seems to me that there should be more connectivity with other third parties, for example, with banks, in order to have updated information every day to reconcile accounts more easily.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct automates accounting tasks, reduces manual entry, facilitates report generation, and speeds up invoice creation for clients.

  ### 46. Efficient Automation, But Support Access Needs Streamlining

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I like that Sage Intacct has provided me with time savings and a simplified process. My team uses it to reconcile our books, and it makes it really easy to organize and report on our different divisions.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I dislike that there is a separate log in and separate portal for support tickets and help. It would be nice if it was natively in my Sage Intacct environment, or if my Sage Intacct credentials were the same as the credentials needed for support. The data migration and the learning curve took a few months and we are still trying to master it, but once it was set up and the automation was working, it got easier.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sage Intacct to automate invoicing and reconciliation, saving time and simplifying processes. It helps my team easily reconcile books and organize reports across divisions.

  ### 47. Sage Intacct- A friendly accounting tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit V. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Sage Intacct and its automation and real time reporting. It streamlines financial processes, supports multi entity management, and helps improve accuracy. Because it is cloud based, and easy to access from anywhere, and it allows teams to spend more time on analysis instead of getting stuck in manual accounting tasks.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

One drawback of Sage Intacct is the steep learning curve for new users. It can also get expensive, especially when you need add on modules, and some features still require help from technical support. On top of that, reporting customization and the overall interface can feel complex and, at times, less userfriendly.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps address manual accounting inefficiencies, fragmented systems, and a lack of real time visibility. For me, it’s valuable because it automates key processes, improves accuracy, speeds up the month end close, and delivers actionable insights. As a result, I can spend more time on analysis and strategic financial decision making instead of getting stuck in routine tasks.

  ### 48. User-Friendly Financial Management with Workflow Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

I find Sage Intacct to be very user-friendly with its automated approval workflows. Approvals are automatically routed to the appropriate departmental manager and to the CEO if it exceeds the delegated authority limits, saving time manually routing invoices to the appropriate parties.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

I find the Purchasing module does not work well with our AP Automation, as the system struggles to recognize existing POs. Also, I found the initial setup to be difficult and required hiring an implementation team for 6 months.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intacct helps us manage AP, AR, and cash, with user-friendly automated approval workflows that route invoices efficiently, saving time.

  ### 49. Private Equity Fund Accounting Director

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Intacct is becoming more versatile and functional. Allocations and Modules are consistently being updated and improved.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

Having multiple pages open at once would be extremely helpful. More keyboard shortcuts would make my job easier. Alt+ Arrow keys is nice but not that many instances where you can be solely on the keyboard and use Enter.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sage Intact is solving the issue of manual work involving legacy workpapers. Once we're fully operational, it will reduce labor hours significantly. They've recently expanded the scope of the software to become more useful to our team.

  ### 50. Impactful for Business with Seamless Integrations and a Clear UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sage Intacct?**

Impactful for our business. It helps us perform at a higher level and also makes seamless integrations like toast and others. The UI is also very clear and concise, no bloating. It performs excellent majority of the time.

**What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?**

The pricing is a bit steep but I can see the premium being paid is worth it. I do not like the AI parts being forced. It seems like every software on Earth is pushing AI. I have not had to use much support but the onboarding was very clear.

**What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us reconcile our P-Cards, invoicing is a breeze and it is very efficient.
