I appreciate the reporting dashboard that SafeQual offers. The information displayed there has been valuable in encouraging accountability among our managers, especially since we previously struggled with closing events promptly. I also value the inclusion of just culture elements, which support a fair and balanced approach. As an administrator, I find it frustrating that events are not consolidated into a single section. I often have to navigate through several different areas just to make sure I haven't missed any events. SafeQual is very user friendly, easy to navigate, produces great reports and dashboards. It has all the functions we were looking for. Top notch customer service and communication. The AI analysis helps to ensure you are thinking through each event thoroughly. The ability to send tasks to managers, right from the system, is a huge plus. Attaching documents is simple. The tracking and trending feature allows us to keep all the terminations in one place for organization. The rounding tool in the accreditation function is also great to submit the rounds, and submit tasks for correction right to the dept. leader. The least helpful part of SafeQual is the need to look at 3 separate areas to see all the incidents/events that have occurred over a specific time period as they do not all roll up into one report (patient safety/staff injury/HIPAA events). When I was a Risk Manager for a hospital and clinic system we wanted to upgrade our reporting system for patient safety events, employee reports, fit testing tracking, vaccine tracking and risk management event tracking. SafeQual was able to tailor an experience to us. Over an intense planning and creation period SafeQual helped us build an event reporting system that was compliant, protected, easy to use, upgrade and agile enough to adapt to changes in our operations. We had a dedicated team who worked hand in hand with us, including building a Risk Management platform from the ground up. Any issue we had with the system during our creation and testing phase were able to be worked out with our desiginated team. We worked with them regualary especially after implementation to the whole organization to streamline some of the design choices our organization made. The agility and skill involved in those changes made those snags easy to overcome. I give credit to our Quality team and SafeQual in overcoming those challenges. I like that I can keep employee health incidents, fit testing compliance, TB screenings, lab results, vaccinations and titer records all in one place. I can obtain data on compliance rates and view who is not up to date on employee health requirements. I am also able to record risk assessments, hand hygiene audits, and HAI data. It can take awhile to get used to where to find historical data and documents, but the SafeQual IT team is wonderful and they are quick to assist with any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While SafeQual likely primarily markets their services to health care and corporate entities, as a principal of a school the SafeQual system provided the specific design process we were hoping for. Using technology to capture patient safety events can be a challenge in a taks oriented environment. SafeQual's ease of use, as well as their customization capabilities, makes them a "best in the industry" choice for Risks Managers and QAPI professionals. They have dedicated staff that will not only help you to easily implement your protocols and forms into their platforms to ensure you meet regulatory standards, but will help you in every step of the way whenever you may need to improve or enhance a process.
