Using the AI portion of ADP RUN has been beneficial to obtaining the proper documents and information when I have to deal with the IRS directly. ### 2. The way the software is laid out, is similar to other web applications with a menu bar in the left to jump to different sections. The software also provides reminders such as if it's a holiday coming up and payroll has to be submitted earlier. I also like that any questions I have I can easily call and get a person. I can call if I have questions about the software and using it, or call if I have a HR question. We use this software for payroll, keeping track of employee records, and workers comp insurance. The software does have integrations with other platforms and software, but we do not use this feature yet. Overall the performance of the software is very reliable. When it does maintenance, it is overnight and outside of business hours. There is a banner at the top of the software that announces any upcoming planned maintenance. The pricing of the software if fair for everything it provides. Having that number to call for HR support has been huge, and allowed our business to not have to hire a dedicated HR person which is a huge return in investment for the business. The software does have AI features, but we do not use these yet. However I feel confident that we will use it in the future as it learns our business and our trends with payroll. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** The downsides can be the wait times on the phone. 90% of the time I call, I am able to speak with a person within two minutes. However at the end of the year and beginning of the year, the wait times can be up to 45 minutes. Another thing I dislike, is that we constantly get calls to try to upsell us on other services. I appreciate that they have other services, but when I tell them no, they come back a few months later to try to upsell the same services. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** This software helps us find the best workers comp insurance which saves us countless hours of research. This software makes payroll easy for us which saves us hours on doing payroll with some other platform. We also use this platform for all HR related issues. I've used a couple other payroll services that are extremely difficult to track down specifics about past paychecks or obtain W2's. I can also chat with someone either on the phone or the text box right on the home page, which makes solving any particular issues simple. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** Some employee side issues. I have an employee who works at a different site than me and works primarily in a kitchen with fast paced high turnover. He's unable to access his personal account and for some reason I'm required to make a three way call while he's trying to log in to troubleshoot together. I don't understand how I can't authorize an employee to troubleshoot only his own account. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have had issues with 1099's because we only have bands that count. They're one time, 3 hour employees that qualify for 1099's and it's annoying to file for them, but ADP has simplified it for me over the years. ### 7. All my questions and concerns have always been answered perfectly by an ADP representative. There are pre-created reports to select from, but sometimes when I need to put census data together, I have to pull from multiple reports and individual employee pages. We used to have paper timesheets and the Time Tracking has saved us so much tabulation time. I recently took over a new role and saw ADP for the first time and I was a bit intimidated first but after a few payrolls and some repetition I realized how simple it was to use the tool. I get a discount when I open a new business and the pricing is reasonable. The AI interface helps save time when searching. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I am not able to go to the deductions page when running payroll on my 1099 people. When im running payroll and click on deductions or any other item, I cannot change to any of the other update profile items within the same screen. When I click save it brings me back to the main payroll screen. I really like that I can access it on my phone, which was super helpful when there was a question about a paycheck. The knowledgeable specialists that assist are very nice and offer great customer support, which is one of the reasons our team switched from QuickBooks. I also found the setup to be different but easy to learn. We just started going paperless, which is wonderful. Every employee was able to get on the app on their device, and they can get their check stubs themselves, so employees are not asking me to print their stubs anymore. It feels great that everyone is already on direct deposit, making the transition even smoother. The addition of importing through AI for timesheets has been excellent, even though there are still some kinks to work out. It works very well and makes my time easier since I don't have to manually key in everyone's hours. It's very user friendly, and with all the updates that have been happening lately, it's even easier. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I'm gonna say the new hire documentation. Such as when I upload a sheet onto there for the employees to finish, I wish that if the employee didn't finish it, I could go in there and select it and finish it for them, without it leaving a little yellow yield symbol on there. I tried to do the integration, but the amount of money for the Homebase integration, I didn't wanna have to pay for Homebase. I really like the Human Resources section and resources. I appreciate that it saves time when onboarding by showing required documents and local and state policies based on your business address. This is my first time using a payroll system like this. I also really like the few times I have had to reach out about an issue that I was able to be connected to a live person very quickly and I didn't have to go through a number of AI prompts trying to explain the situation. They were able to resolve the issue quickly and also spent some time walking me through some of the features I was unaware of as a new user. I can't offer any perspective on the price and ROI as I do not have experience with other payroll systems to compare it to. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** The staff training piece isn't clear. I have had issues with getting people connected and able to access the training modules. I also would like to see more prompts for new employees or users to the system on simple things such as not using a work email as an employee (not an administrator) and I would like to see more training for employees on how to access tax forms, checks, update records, submit PTO, etc. Maybe there are video modules available but I haven't seen them yet and it would be great if they were part of the required onboarding/training plan automatically. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have any specific at this time. We are set up on auto pay and have been for as many years as I can remember. Thank goodness ADP has a chat feature! I started a chat with JC and he said ADP would take care of the issue. Payroll processing is straightforward, taxes are calculated and filed automatically, and employee direct deposits are reliable. As a small business owner, saving time and reducing the risk of payroll errors is extremely important, and RUN has helped us accomplish that. I also appreciate having access to payroll reports, employee records, tax documents, and HR resources all in one place. The platform makes onboarding employees, managing payroll history, and handling year-end tax forms much more efficient. Customer support has also been helpful whenever we've had questions or needed assistance navigating a feature. Overall, RUN Powered by ADP has allowed us to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time focusing on growing our business. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** While RUN Powered by ADP is reliable, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some features require navigating through multiple menus, so finding specific reports or settings isn't always as intuitive as it could be. Before using it, payroll, tax filings, employee records, and year-end reporting required significantly more manual work and increased the risk of mistakes. With RUN, payroll is processed quickly, payroll taxes are calculated and filed automatically, and employee pay stubs and tax forms are easily accessible. As our business has grown, having a centralized system for payroll and HR has made it much easier to manage employees, maintain accurate records, and stay compliant with tax requirements. The platform has reduced administrative work, improved accuracy, and given us confidence that payroll is being handled correctly. The interface is very clean and user friendly. The side navigation panel makes locating any type of additional data a breeze. We integrated our accounting software with our payroll processing. The GL file is generated right after we approve our payroll. The pricing is extremely fair and less than we had been paying with our previous vendor (Paychex). Most of our issues when they arise are addressed by ADP support whether it be utilizing the AI chat or use instructions or a representative that reaches out directly. Overall, RUN by ADP has performed superiorly when compared to other vendors. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I feel like the AI needs a bit of work as when I have asked it questions in the past, it does not always understand what I am asking. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most recently one problem we had dealt with an additional tax jurisdiction that was set up in error during our implementation. An ADP rep reached out to me and helped me resolve the issue quickly. I thought having payroll and PTO tracking in one place with accounting would simplify things for me as the business owner. BOY WAS I WRONG. Run Powered by ADP services are 24 hours a day. The other payroll service's customer service ends at 8pm EST. I'm often doing payroll or other HR things late into the evening or very early in the morning and trying to work around the inconvenient time schedule of other service was insane difficult. With ADP I can have questions answered any time of the day. I am not shuffled between different people with different skill sets and waiting on hold for next expert to help me. One call to ADP and one customer service representative answers all my questions, helps me correct any errors, teaches me how to prevent mistakes from happening in the future and educates me on the process I have questions about. Switching back to ADP was a seamless process as well. Where as switching from ADP to the other payroll service was complicated, lengthy and confusing. Run Powered by ADP's new feature of allowing my staff to request PTO is very helpful to keep track of the PTO they have use and have left to use. The ADP time tracking option via mobile app is super easy to use and convenient. There is not one thing I do not like about ADP. If asked I will recommend ADP every single time. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** NOTHING. ADP services are extraordinary and of the highest quality in the payroll, HR market. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Off-cycle payroll. Two types of payroll within my office (bi-weekly and semimonthly), time tracking for clocking-in errors by staff or missed punches by staff, log-in problems, paper checks. ### 50. The platform has greatly facilitated my payroll routine, organization of processes and employee information, and monitoring in HR processes. It corrects dates, verifies and corrects employees' bank accounts, corrects improper 401k deductions, and offers me 100% of the support I need. I find the ease of chatting especially valuable, as it has really brought me more security, control, and efficiency in payments, saving me time on a daily basis. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** It would be helpful if the cashback invoices that go into the company's account included the employee's name. When I credit, for example, $290 related to the 401k, I would like to know who requested the return. Currently, I know how to find the invoice with the help of assistants, but the recipient's name is missing, which leaves the responsibility to the company. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** RUN Powered by ADP makes my payroll routine easier, organizes employee processes and information, corrects data, verifies and corrects bank accounts, and improper deductions.
