Roster elf helps remind me when my shifts are by sending me notifications 1 hour before my shift. It helps me keep track of my hours worked and breaks taken to ensure timely and accurate payments. Sometimes putting in my availability is not very user friendly. I have to scroll and select a specific start date to access the week I want to add availability. Sometimes I don’t always know the exact date and thus have to switch between a calendar and the RosterElf app. It would be helpful to see the calendar at the same time. Roster Elf is exactly what you need, always reliable, helpful, they even remind you an hour before of your shift so you don't forget. Amazing and super easy to use, you can swap shifts as well and it makes it really easy to communicate with anyone and everyone about when you can and can't work. What I love about RosterElf is its suitability for all-purpose teams. Everyone can see each other's shifts and know who they will be working with, which greatly aids in team coordination and strengthens connectivity among team members. Furthermore, I am thoroughly satisfied with the software as is, finding no need for changes, which reinforces my confidence in its current functionality. I initially found RosterElf a bit tricky to use, particularly before their recent update which made it more user-friendly. However, it still doesn't handle time changes like daylight savings well, affecting clocking in and out timings. During setup, I encountered challenges because some tasks had to be completed through the website, while others required the app. It would be more efficient if everything could be streamlined on a single platform. i like that it sends notifications of when i need to clock in a hour before. the calendar is allows me to take note of when i have rosters on the bigger picture so i can dictate if i need to take time off for a event. i like that u can add profile pictures to make the workplace appear more connected. the help and support tab in the app is kinda useless i have not used it. it doesn’t tell u the length of your shift e.g 5 hours. additionally pending, leave tabs have always been blank for me for some reason i guess. i’m not a fan of the color scheme either make it a deeper more professional color vibe like a black or grey. I like how easy RosterElf is to use and you can clearly see when you are working and get notifications if anything has been updated which is nice. The only issue with RosterElf that I have is that in order to clock in you must be in a particular location. This is fine but sometimes my phone glitches and says that I am somewhere else which means I am unable to clock myself in and it could appear to my employer than I am late. Occasionally you will just get logged out for no apparent reason (this happened to most of my coworkers too in the same week), this has probably happened about twice. Other times the screen will just refuse to load so I can’t clock into my shift on time. Another thing is I know some of my coworkers have accidentally clocked into the wrong shift (when it displays two e.g. you have a close and then an open the next morning) and then because you accidentally clocked into that morning shift you can’t re-clock in the next day when you actually need to. I find it challenging to differentiate between applying leave and applying availability. I'd prefer to have the flexibility to apply leave for specific parts of the day rather than the whole day. I use it frequently and helps me keep track of my shifts. Features are good including reaching out to MGMT or making changes. Customer support is great and it accessible on all email so I can make a request if I need. Oh yeah it was an easy intergration and the transition to this system was easy and trouble free.
