## Riverside Reviews
 ### 1. Just what we needed: executive communications made with great reliability.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex R. | PPC Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

At first, I only thought about using Riverside to record our quarterly all-hands meetings when the leadership team is fully remote. Its strongest feature is the consistency. The video and audio of every participant are recorded in high resolution locally, so if one individual has a weak Wi-Fi connection, the whole recording will not be affected. Due to the simplicity application of the product, our busy executives were able to join the call without the need for a technical run-through. The biggest post-production benefit is the greatest support; communications crew with the separate tracks can use this to do audio clean-up or single speaker focus without their other tracks getting affected. The sharing of the screen is also very clear which in turn is the most vital thing in the presentation of the slides.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Given that video is their strength, the platform comes with just enough basic built-in editing tools for trimming, however, they don't have the quality of the video team for a high-quality final cut. We normally take the tracks export and editing separately. Videos in full resolution take up a lot of space which is great for the quality but you have to consider storage and transferring if the recordings are long. However, we had only one instance in which the service was down, and thus, we had to cancel the recording, which was quite frustrating, although it is mostly reliable.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside is essentially the instrument that enables us to maintain the qualitative level of our internal and external executive communications both at the professional and standard level. At first, we were grappling with varying audio levels and video qualities of the leaders who were coming from different locations, and this was, without our realizing it, producing a less polished image of our brand. Right now, every single one of the communications, whether it be internal updates or public-facing webinars, is of the same standard and has the high-quality vibe. Consequently, our brand presence becomes stronger and more cohesive, and the likelihood of the message being affected by the technical issues is reduced. As a leader, it affords me the assurance that our communications will not be of a lesser standard than our work.

 ### 2. Our team content repurposing has been taken to a whole new level by this tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca S. | CMO, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The transition was without any problems. The interview which was conducted remotely was our first and it happened within an hour of us signing up. The description of rather than this or that, the separate, high-quality tracks for each speaker are the best things one can say; this is because it provides pristine material for the post-production team. Perfect for our software demo videos, the screen capture feature is as efficient as the video recording process. We use it for our weekly internal town halls and client case study interviews. Quite clever is the text-based video editor which is a feature that saves us an enormous amount of time when creating short clips for social media and thus we are able to repurpose a 45-minute interview into a dozen assets in an afternoon.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The mobile app, which is only functional, cannot compare with the desktop browser version of the app that is more beautiful and user-friendly. We had a guest who mainly uses a tablet, and he said that the controls were a little bit hard to understand. The live streaming features of the platform that are meant to be compared with the incredible execution of other areas, seem to be a little bit behind the time when compared to those of a live streaming dedicated service. I would add that while staff responded to our problem, their first email was a generic one that didn't really acknowledge our specific technical query about file formats.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solves the problem of how to increase content production without the need for more budget or causing more production problems. The chief pain was the difficulty and degradation of quality that we faced when using other remote recording tools. Each participant's locally recorded audio and video are of excellent studio-grade quality, and thus Riverside has eliminated the quality gamble. This is enhancing the ROI of our interview-based content in a very fundamental way. Every conversation, which is turned into the very reliable foundation of our entire content engine, is utilized to the fullest extent.

 ### 3. The Go-To Platform for Flawless Remote Interviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dean B. | Co-Founder & CTO, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The unparalleled audio and video quality is what truly sets Riverside apart. As someone who regularly records interviews with clients and industry experts, I need a platform that guarantees studio-grade results without requiring a technical setup. The separate, high-fidelity tracks for each participant are a lifesaver in post-production, giving my team perfect clarity and flexibility. It just works, every single time.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

While the core recording experience is exceptional, the built-in text-based editor feels a bit basic compared to the rest of the platform. For quick edits, it's fine, but we typically download the files for more advanced polishing in a dedicated editing suite. A slightly more robust in-browser editing feature would make the workflow even more seamless.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has completely eliminated the anxiety of recording high-stakes remote conversations. Before, we struggled with sync issues and inconsistent audio on other platforms, which undermined our professional credibility. Now, we can confidently record podcast episodes and client testimonials with participants from anywhere in the world. This has not only elevated our content quality but also significantly expanded our production capabilities without increasing our budget.

 ### 4. Helps keep our remote recordings smooth and consistent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex R. | Founder & CEO, Food & Beverages, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside has made it easier for us to record interviews and team discussions online. The audio stays clear, and even when someone’s connection drops, the recording isn’t lost. The platform is simple to use, and guests can join easily through a link without any setup. I also like that the files save automatically and can be accessed later without any trouble. It feels dependable for regular use.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Sometimes longer videos take a bit more time to process, and I’ve noticed that editing directly in the browser can lag if multiple tracks are open. It’s manageable, but a small area for improvement.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier we had issues with sound cutting out or losing sync during recordings done over other tools. With Riverside, those problems have been reduced a lot. It keeps things more stable, and we don’t have to repeat sessions anymore. It saves time and gives us consistent results for our projects.

 ### 5. Professional quality, but without the production hassle.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren M. | CEO & Co-Founder, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Itsaudio and video quality were the main points that convinced us. We do a monthly podcast and bring on guests from all over the country. And internet connections have always been a problem. Even if a guest's connection is bad, Riverside's local recording feature makes it possible to have an excellent, high-fidelity recording from their side. Our editor is greatly benefitted from the separate audio and video tracks for each participant. Also, the capacity to record the screen and video of everyone at the same time has been wonderful to the short, impactful clips for social media. Our guests are able to join without any technical support as the procedure is quite understandable. My team can do quick edits by utilizing the platform's in-built editor which is quite easy and they do not have to send the files to another party.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Basically, the audio is of a high standard; however, the accompanying editing features might only be appropriate for simple operations and could be seen as somewhat limited if compared to a fully-fledged desktop editor. For instance, the example given was that one cannot as easily directly make highly accurate changes to a multi-track timeline. It was during this time that we also ran into a situation where a recording's processing took longer than it usually does before it could be downloaded, and for this reason, we had a slight delay in our publishing schedule. Possibly, the enormous number of features may overwhelm you at your first attempt, but very soon you work out which ones are necessary for your daily workflow.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside takes care of issues which were a thorn in our sides - the fluctuation in guest audio/video quality and the mammoth file sizes that come with high-res recordings. Previously, we used to ask our guests to shoot videos on their phones, and then syncing and cleaning up those files would eat into our time. Currently, everyone sounds and looks as if they are in a professional studio, which elevates the perceived quality of our brand. So, there has been a very drastic reduction in both pre-production stress and post-production editing time. The crew is no longer bogged down with technical problems, but rather, they have time to focus on content promotion and audience engagement. High-quality podcast production which was a logistical nightmare has now become a manageable part of our content strategy.

 ### 6. Helped to Make the Usually Complicated Process of Remote Content Production Straightforward

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie H. | SEO, AI and Google Algorithm Consultation, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Our marketing team has benefitted greatly from Riverside in terms of producing remote video content. We can easily record both screen and webcam at the same time and the audio editing tools allow us to quickly clean up interviews and webinars without the need for a third-party software. Also, the interface is designed in such a way that even technically inexperienced team members can find it intuitive. The tasks of exporting content in different formats for use on social media or in internal presentations are both easy and dependable.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The timeline editing could get a little more work done if the team was longer recordings. There are times when I have to go through extra steps to fine-tune audio, but I can handle it for most of my projects.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before the implementation of Riverside, the process of producing video content remotely that was on point with polished standards was a tough one and demanded the use of several different platforms. Nowadays, recording, editing, and repurposing of content can be done in a single location. The result of this intervention has been a decrease in the turnaround time, a reduction in the number of production errors, and the enablement of our team to consistently deliver high-quality content for campaigns and internal communications. In general, it has not only made our workflow more effective but also has had a positive effect on the content delivery speed across different departments.

 ### 7. Content Teams' Use of a Trustworthy Remote Recording Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa G. | Sales Director, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Mostly, the feature to get video and audio from more than one person without the lag which can be heard or seen is of great significance. The editing tools are easy to understand, and the platform gives us the option to very quickly get rid of the background noise and also adjust the audio volume. There is no hitch in the integration with other editing tools that we use which keeps our work flowing.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Indeed, the recording interface is intuitive, but I had to try the advanced editing tools several times before I fully understood them. Getting a guided walkthrough for these features would be nice.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to suffer from low-quality audio and video in our remote interview recordings. Now, with Riverside, the output is always of the same quality, thus making our final deliverables more professional in appearance. The good thing also is that less time is spent on post-production, so our team can focus on content strategy and promotion.

 ### 8. Powerful, Always Improving Product with Great Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Customer support is great, the product itself is powerful and getting better all the time!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Sometimes it feels like there are several paywalls to what I need (nickel and dime). And if I don't use those features all the time, I don't want to pay for them all the time.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording and generating content for my podcast.

 ### 9. Riverside is the only tool you need to run an independent Podcast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will A. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside is so easy to use! We are an independent, remote team of 3, writing, recoding, and producing the Blue Couch Collective Podcast, and Riverside is the only way we can manage our podcast without hiring outside help. From the desktop app that records audio and video locally, then uploads for clean, crisp content, to the editor and organization tools, this is a well-thought-out platform. The suite of AI tools in Riverside takes the cake. It makes creating clips, thumbnails, show notes, and social posts so easy, and as a small team, this is so amazing

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Several "Premium" features are available for use in the editor, which are paywalled when you export. I pay for the standard tier, and this means the exported audio sounds very different than how you hear it in the editor.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our all-in-one remote podcast tool. It allows us to host guests, record video podcasts, edit, clip, and generate content for all of our social media needs

 ### 10. High-Quality Call Recording and Powerful Tools for Shareable, Branded Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside addresses a key challenge for my agency - being able to quickly and easily capture hi-quality video from online calls which we can use in social media posts and other videos, and really robust automated tools to take longer format video and parse it into useful and shareable content with good tools to do branding, captions and layout

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The built-in video editor in Riverside - the timeline element - is tricky to use accurately and can be difficult for anything but simple trims and timeline splits. I've used Final Cut and Premiere for years and I find this element underwhelming and in need of some revision

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside rapidly moves unedited video content into useful formats that can be shared and amplified on our marketing channels quickly. It saves a ton of time.

 ### 11. Riverside Makes Video Creation Easy and Reliable for Podcasters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** rob b. | Podcast Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside is user friendly and dependable. I have used the program for almost 3 years and their customer service is not only fast, but they deliver every time. What I love about this program is how user friendly it is. I knew nothing about riverside before I joined, and I was able to start making videos right out of the gate. There are so many features that makes my job editing so much easier. I record on riverside at least twice a week and never have to worry that i will lose any content. Even my guests who have never used riverside before has found it so easy to navigate. I have converted many podcasters from zoom to riverside and it really wasn't a hard sell. After they see how easy it is to use and the quality of the finished product. It sells itself.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

As far as downsides, there really isn't any that is a deal breaker for me. The only complaint that I have is using the built in backgrounds. I have used a professional green screen to make it better, and while it is better, you can still tell that you are using a green screen. That is the only flaw in riverside fm. It's a feature that i do not have to have, but i would love to see that improved for other projects that i may take on down the road.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

before riverside I used zoom and it was never dependable. and as typical with guests who are in spots with bad wifi, what you see is what you get. But with riverside, that solves the problem. because it uploads the recordings from both ends to the cloud. i get a crystal clear picture of my guests, even if their internet connection is choppy.

 ### 12. Solid Platform That Keeps Getting Smarter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki B. | Creative Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Our team uses Riverside on a regular basis for content creation, and it’s become an essential part of our workflow. The platform continues to grow and adapt, taking user feedback to heart and putting it into action. I really appreciate their in-depth knowledge, friendly and proactive customer support, and consistently polished webinars. The recording experience is intuitive and user-friendly — a huge plus for designers managing multiple applications at once! Riverside has become a key part of how we record, collaborate, and deliver high-quality content.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

There’s still room for continued growth as the platform expands — a few features occasionally feel in progress, but it’s clear they’re actively improving and listening to user feedback.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside is constantly evolving to meet new trends and creative demands. I primarily use it for podcasting and interview-style videos, and the platform has come a long way in a short time. When I first started using Riverside, it was simple and straightforward — not many transitions or visual options. Less than a year later, it’s been completely revamped with new overlays, transitions, and layout features that make my job much easier and reduce my reliance on external tools.

 ### 13. Amazing recording features make it easy to just focus on having great conversations.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Just B. | System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Ease of use. I like the ability to just record and know that once done, Riverside will help me with the rest. Whether it's fixing audio or helping with clips, I've had a easy time getting used to it and making some great content.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I wish there wasn't a requirement for camera for a host to be seen in recordings. Guests should be allowed to use a profile picture and have it show up when speaking on the export of a video. Without a camera, you only see who was on camera and can only hear the guest without camera. Literally the only issue I have.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use. Riverside makes it easy for me to just focus on talking to my friends and having a good time. I know once done, Riverside will help me get the best out of my recordings.

 ### 14. Professionalizing Our Content to Build Trust in a Digital World

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard C. | Managing Director, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

In a regulated industry like financial advice, trust is everything. Riverside allows me to send personalised, high-quality video messages to clients. The ease of use is fantastic; I can record, do a quick audio check, and send a link in minutes. The screen capture is also invaluable for walking clients through their portfolios. The ability to make minor edits to the video and ensure the audio is perfectly clear before sending has been incredibly valuable for maintaining our professional image.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The feature set is so broad that we likely only use half of what it offers. It would be helpful to have guided workflows or templates for specific business types like ours. The implementation was so easy we were up and running in an afternoon.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has solved the problem of impersonal digital communication. Email and text can be misread, but a friendly, clear video message builds immense rapport. It has dramatically improved client satisfaction and retention. We've also used it to host virtual Q&A sessions, which we record and edit for our website, positioning us as a helpful and transparent authority. The benefit is a stronger client-advisor relationship.

 ### 15. Essential for a Marketing Team Working Across APAC

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James W. | Head of Marketing, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Working with partners and clients across Asia-Pacific means internet connectivity is never a given. Riverside's local recording has been a game-changer for ensuring we get high-quality video and audio from every participant, every time. The ease of use of the video editor means I can quickly turn a one-hour regional strategy call into a concise recap for our leadership team without needing specialized skills. The audio cleanup tools are also crucial for making sure every voice is clear and professional.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Scheduling recordings across wildly different time zones can be tricky, and while Riverside has a scheduling feature, it doesn't fully sync with all calendar systems we use. It's a small workflow hiccup we've learned to work around.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solves our challenge of maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence across a vast and diverse region. It allows our regional experts to become content creators without a technical barrier. The benefit is a more authentic and frequent connection with our audience, and a significant reduction in the cost and complexity of producing multi-lingual and multi-region marketing materials.

 ### 16. Leveling the Playing Field for A Small Creative Agency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eleanor V. | Founder & Creative Director, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside has enabled my small agency to win and execute projects that used to be only accessible to big studios in London. The video and audio we receive from the remote recordings with our clients are of excellent quality, and it is broadcast-ready. To my delight, we have been able to reliably capture clean UI/UX walkthroughs for our tech clients by using the screen capture feature.
Moreover, the convenience of doing the first video and audio edit in the same platform before transferring to a complete edit suite has made our workflow more efficient. One of the main selling points is the simplicity for our clients; they are always amazed at how easy it is to access a session.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

As a creative person, I would always be more than charmed to have more detailed native editor control, especially for colour grading, to make sure that the colour is an exact match to the client's branding with the last adjustments made on the client side. This is a very small negative point among the many positives that this tool represents for our business.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We faced two big issues at Riverside:first the fact that we were limited by our location and secondly the high production costs. Luckily, with Riverside, we can now operate with the top clients not only in the local area but all over the UK. The expense and inconvenience of using studio space for filming interviews and testimonials have been totally wiped out. This means that we can have a better offer in the market, make more money on our projects, and still be able to accept more work without having to increase our expenses. It has really transformed our business model positively.

 ### 17. Our Team Developing an Educational Content of High Fidelity through Empowerment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya S. | Director of Marketing, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

For us, the dependability of the display as well as the recording is the first thing that matters. We create software tutorials and learning units, and the visual instruction clarity is a must. Riverside is just the right solution for this. Moreover, the smoothness of the video editor makes it possible for our content experts who are not trained in video processing to do some easy editing and correction, which in turn saves a lot of time in production. A short interruption on the internet connection will not affect a long local recording of a lecture.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Although the audio editing meets the basic requirements for cleaning speech, I would still like to see more sophisticated features such as a noise gate or compression integrated into the audio editing to enable us to manage the varying microphone qualities of different instructors. At present, we do a final batch processing in a specialized audio program for our top-priority content.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our course recording and promotional content production have been entirely relocated in-house with Riverside. Consequently, we no longer rely on costly external studios. This platform addresses the challenge of achieving a standard quality of production across multiple instructors and courses. Hence, the main effect is a considerable drop of content production expenses and the availability of new courses at the shortest time. Besides this, we employ the platform to create brief, high-end video greetings for our email campaigns, which have raised our engagement level due to the personal touch.

 ### 18. How to Turn Your Customer Data Into a Demand Gen Strategic Asset

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben C. | VP of Demand Generation, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

We are literally blown away by the combo of screen capture plus local recording for our webinar program. We run live data walkthroughs and Riverside really makes it possible for both the presenter and their screen to be recorded in super high quality for our audience to watch anytime.
What I really like about audio editing is that it is very easy and powerful at the same time. We can just cut out the pauses and ums to get a more finished product. Our production team is super happy with the multitude of features such as the separate track download that gives them the freedom they need without making things more difficult for our speakers.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

In general, it wasn't the easiest way to figure out how to set up a branded background from scratch. Our first few attempts were not successful and we had to repeat the process in order to achieve the desired result. However, the branded background becomes effective for every use after the initial setup. This issue is just a small problem amid an easy and quick execution.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has changed the whole scenario with the poor quality of webinars and the difficulty to reuse them. Our on-demand versions used to be so bad that we could hardly see the screenshares and hear the audio. Every webinar is now a clear and perfect recording which we can comfortably edit and divide. We turn them into the content that our audience really wants: we extract the most important points and publish them on LinkedIn, we transform data characters into videos, and we also use the audio to produce our podcast. As a result, the lifespan and the ROI of webinars have been increased, which has a direct impact on our lead generation.

 ### 19. Unparalleled Audio/Video Quality to Cater to a Technical Audience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | CEO & Founder, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

It is the faithfulness that really convinces. I, as a founder, talking to a technical audience consisting of developers, engineers, and investors, would find that even the smallest visual distortions, a slight delay in the synchronization, or muffled audio can be irritating to the point of instantly discrediting your whole idea. On the other hand, Riverside is like clockwork delivering a very clean, the highest quality recording of the studio, without any trouble. Also, the individual WAV and video tracks for each participant are extremely valuable; this way, our post-production team has the cleanest possible files to work with, which is a big saving of time and effort.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Despite the fact that the primary recording experience is perfect, the tools for the end product seem somewhat disconnected. For rapid trimming, the integrated editor is usable; however, we almost always shift all our work to a professional editing suite. This would be a great step if there was a better connection between these two or an export function that could automatically prepare an edited version. This remains as a small issue with the product that is otherwise great in every other aspect.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has essentially eliminated the issue of us being able to communicate with our team members in a proper and detailed manner when the company decided to grow. As a result, we use it to capture all hands meetings with remote colleagues, which is an excellent way to keep records. In addition, it's also one of the leading sources of our external communication such as podcasts and videos for educational purposes. The freedom of recording with guests who are far away in different continents and time zones and not having to be concerned about their internet connection disrupting the end product is a big impact both on our daily operations and strategic planning. It ensures to our brand's high-quality standard.

 ### 20. Unmatched Simplicity for Collaborations with Influencers from all Over the World

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe S. | Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside really blew me away with how they simplify incredibly complicated productions. We often work with influencers and makeup artists who are spread all over the world in different time zones. With the user-friendly design, we are able to take no time at all for the technical part and all our time for the creative conversation.
The video and audio editing that come with the platform are just perfect for our needs. We are able to do a quick cut of the recording from the start and the end, make the audio clearer and get a file ready for our high-end brand channels that look and sound professional.
Single tracks are a godsend for the moments when we want to change the volume of background music or the voice of an artist.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

These days when we talk about Beauty, it would be fantastic just to have extra features for color adjustments be directly part of the editing tool. The reason is that maintaining brand colors across all the content created by different users would get a lot simpler. We have only reached out to the support team a couple of times, and they have always been prompt to reply and mostly efficient in offering best-practice advice.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has removed the distance barrier that separates the locality from content creation. We do not need to take a flight with our crew to the location of an influencer any more. We can create beautiful 4k videos remotely. Production costs have been reduced drastically along with the timelines. Our content strategy has become more flexible due to the ability of quick turnaround of a single interview into long-form YouTube tutorial, short TikTok clips, and audio podcast. The advantage is a continuous flow of genuine, top-notch content that not only maintains our brand identity but also, makes it possible to recognize it anywhere in the world.

 ### 21. Streamlined our podcast workflow and improved team collaboration!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alina V. | Co-CEO, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Content filming with Riverside has been totally streamlined from our side. The sound and picture quality are top-notch, and the local recording feature guarantees that every show is perfect, no matter if someone's wifi is down. Additionally, the simplicity of sending out guest invites is what I really like - even the non-technical members of our team can easily handle it.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The post-production editor can be a bit slow at times with longer sessions, and the process of getting the raw files usually takes more time than anticipated. The user would have an ideal experience if there was an export option that was quicker.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, it was a real headache to plan and carry out remote sessions. Our marketing and content departments can now work together in a more efficient way, as they can effortlessly make high-quality videos through their browsers. This has really made a difference in terms of creating sales enablement content with our brand without using studios outside of the company.

 ### 22. Enterprise-level customer stories require reliability, which we needed to provide.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David R. | Chief Marketing Officer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

One of the main reasons why we decided to go with Riverside was the uncompromising audio and video quality. We simply can’t afford to make a mistake when recording the testimonials of C-level executives from our enterprise clients. Local recording with Riverside is what ensures that we get a perfect take every time, no matter where they are or what their connection is. The screen and video capture feature is also very powerful; we use it to make detailed, tailored product walkthroughs for potential clients.
The way it fits so nicely into our workflow is just great—we run the recording, do a quick edit of the conversation, and then use the clips for our sales team, website, and all this on one and the same platform.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The changeover to Riverside had such a seamless flow that locating substantial disadvantages is a tough task. In case I were required to mention something, it would probably be the data regarding the interaction of the audience with the videos that could be more elaborated to be consistent with the rest of the marketing channels we use. It is a small point and more of a feature request for the future rather than an existing problem.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside effectively revolutioned our content creation problem to be scalable with high-quality fidelity. In the past, creating a customer case study was a huge challenge that required the use of several tools and always anticipating that the audio/video sync and quality would be okay. Now, it is a standardized process. Because the process is so dependable and simple for our team and clients, we have quadrupled the production of customer evidence. The main advantage is that we have a strong collection of genuine social evidence that our sales team leverages to gain customer confidence and speed up the sales process.

 ### 23. Innovative Features That Anticipate Creative Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CJ C. | Founder, CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Since its inception, it's been constantly coming up with features that respond to the many thoughts I've had as a creative producer that go something like "it would be great if someone would do xxxx."

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

When I'm doing multiple takes, I would love the ability to review a clip immediately after vs. jumping over to a new page and waiting for it to process.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's becoming an all-in-one spot to quickly create and edit the type of video content that needs to be generated quickly and effortlessly. It's not competing with Premiere or DiVinci. Those are for more creative, complex projects. It's making it so I don't have to bounce between multiple platforms to create something with a very specific (yet increasingly ubiquitous) use... and I'm here for it!

 ### 24. Next-Level Podcasting Platform — Blows StreamYard Out of the Water

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph V. | Joint Venture Specialist & Product Launch Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside.fm is hands down the best podcasting platform we’ve used—and we’ve tried plenty. The AI tools, including automated transcripts, speaker detection, and Magic Clips, are game-changers. It’s fast, intuitive, and levels up our workflow for Rules4Success.com. The ease of use makes it perfect for both solo creators and pro teams.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The only area I'd love to see improvement is in the variety of export perspectives. Being able to switch between different camera angles or layout options post-recording would give even more flexibility for content repurposing.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside.fm eliminates the need for a high-cost studio by letting us produce studio-quality podcasts from anywhere. It streamlines the entire process—from recording to editing to sharing—saving us time, money, and stress. It’s like having a virtual production team in your pocket.

 ### 25. A Game-Changer for Easy Podcast Editing and Faster Publishing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Honestly, if you’re looking to podcast, this service is a game changer. It makes my life so much easier because I can focus on what I love—building relationships with people, sharing my guests’ expertise, and translating complicated science into everyday life. Editing isn’t exciting for me, and this tool has simplified my workflow in so many ways. It’s easy to use, easy to edit with, and helps you create what you need to get your podcast out into the world.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The things that I have disliked or have not been as intuitive are constantly updating to make it even better. They seem very open to feedback on how to improve.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of editing, branding, and creating content for social media.

 ### 26. Very User-Friendly—Makes Recording and Publishing My Weekly Podcast Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

It’s very user-friendly! I used the recording function tonight, and between importing videos and editing, it makes it easy to publish my podcast every week.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I haven’t published to Spotify through Riverside yet. I’ve been hesitant because I’m not sure whether you can schedule a post ahead of time, rather than having it publish immediately in the moment. If I could get some clarification on that, it would really help.

Also, in the subtitles text box for videos, it’s difficult to highlight or select specific parts of the text—especially when using the small or extra-small font sizes. I often end up rewriting the text because that’s simply easier than trying to select the exact section I want.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining my podcast production every week. I am not a videographer, so it makes it very user friendly.

 ### 27. Effortless Podcast Recording and Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tyrese l. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I use Riverside for my podcast and short-form video content. I like that it's easy to use and convenient. The initial setup was super easy and didn't take long at all. Riverside provides an easier and quicker way of editing videos and gives me ideas for short clips. It's a great software to record my podcast, and I'd rate it a 10 on recommending it to others.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

N/A

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Riverside for an easier and quicker way of editing videos, generating ideas for short clips, and recording my podcast.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> We're thrilled to hear that Riverside has been such a valuable tool for your podcast and video content creation! We're glad to hear that the initial setup was easy and that it has provided you with a quicker way to edit videos and generate ideas for short clips. Thank you for the 10/10 recommendation!

 ### 28. Reliable platform for recording and editing high-quality content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate A. | Small business Owner, Legal Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

As a small business owner, I really appreciate how simple Riverside is to use. I record client interviews and short marketing videos every week, and the quality is consistently sharp even when my guests join remotely. The screen and video capture feature feels very intuitive, and I can edit both the video and audio without needing extra software. I like that everything happens in one place — recording, trimming, and exporting. The interface is clean, and I didn’t have to spend hours figuring it out.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Sometimes larger video files take a bit longer to process, especially when exporting in higher resolutions. I also wish there were a few more built-in audio enhancement tools without needing to rely on external plugins. Other than that, the experience has been very smooth.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Riverside, I struggled to maintain consistent video and audio quality across different recording sessions. Now, I can record professional-level videos without hiring extra help or using complicated software. The built-in video editing and audio cleanup save me a lot of time, and I can quickly repurpose my recordings into clips for social media and website content. It has made content creation much easier for my business, helpingme stay consistent without adding more to my workload.

 ### 29. Best in class

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin V. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I run a remote video agency. I use Riverside daily, as does my team. We use for recording client content calls and my podcast.

What I like:

- Easy to share raw video files with editor/clients
- Editor is always getting better, so I don't have to send every little video out to my team if I want a quick & dirty edit.
- The platform gives you lots of notifications if things go wrong with your tech or the guest's tech.
- Really strong customer support.
- I love the track splits.
- I think the post-production content creation process is much easier than Streamyard: you get all of your files in one place, easy access, and you don't have to click around to find them. You also get a summary with bullet points and a rough AI attempt at potential titles (TBH I never use these titles, they're pretty bad right now).
- It's really easy for guests to figure out, it's just like joining a Zoom or Google Meet.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

- I don't like that the price jumps from $25/mo to $500/mo in order to access features like being able to control your client's A/V. This is important for us when we work with clients who aren't tech savvy.
- If you use the text editor, it tends to leave little a couple frames of video in between cuts regularly.
- It's very resource intensive on a machine. That's fine on my desktop but my older laptop from 2018 struggles to load the studio space quickly. If you don't show up early, you're often sitting there nervously while the studio loads and your client is waiting for you to join.
- About 1 out of every 5 times there's an issue with loading into a studio on mobile on the guest's side. They need to reset the app to join.
- I do a lot of planned LinkedIn Live events for my business but you can't use Riverside for them because there's no way to connect the live stream feature of Riverside to a pre-planned event. I found this out the hard way by going live and no-one who signed up for the event saw my video -- it was streaming on my personal account separate from the LinkedIn live event.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I couldn't run my remote video agency without it.

 ### 30. Intuitive and easy to use podcast platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dmitry V. | Lead UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

User experience is great. I think that the team reading my mind and adding a features that I need the most: editing, sharing, hosting — everything there. I really like that it's super easy to use and if there is something unclear — education materials are there to help as well as customer support.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I would like to use it more. I just don't have enough time to plan and record my podcast.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside is a one-stop shop for podcast creation. It helps you to record (web or mobile), edit (add images or music, enchase audio, cut and trim), publish (main platforms integrations or even proprietary sites and hosting).

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback! We understand that finding time to plan and record a podcast can be challenging, but we're glad to hear that Riverside is meeting your needs for podcast creation. We're here to support you whenever you're ready to use it more.

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I have never found a company so willing to teach its customers every aspect of their product. Every question Ivehad has been answered. They are also super responsive and provide feedback to your questions. Also great live trainings. Easy to use. The video editing within the tool is worth the money.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

It’s not really a dislike but there is so much helpful info out there i don’t know where to start and I dont know what I don’t know.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Video editing in one spot. Saves me time and effort. AI tools to help my edit faster and more creatively

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Nothing at this point! It's been easy and effortless.

It's helping me to have a reliable platform so I can focus on the parts I need to - helping my guests feel comfortable and to ask good questions on my podcast!

 ### 33. Effortless Editing and Smooth Social Media Management with Riverside

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob M. | Dynasty Baseball Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I love the ease of use! I have been using Riverside for years and never any glitches, edits in minutes, and makes managing social media a dream.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

If I had to nitpick, I would say the Co-Creator doesn't always give me what I need, but that is such a niche thing.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, I had to record in Zoom and then edit in other software, and then host in another area. Riverside allows for all of that in one, while giving me more options for social media and allowing me to expand if I so choose. There is no limit I have found to Riverside, from transcription to live streaming to hosting webinars. All works smoothly!

 ### 34. Riverside Delivers Broadcast-Quality Recording for Radio & Podcasts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

As a global radio station and multimedia platform with over 771K social media followers, we need a product that is reliable, professional, and easy to use. Riverside.fm has become an essential part of our workflow because it combines broadcast-quality local recording with an intuitive interface. The Ease of Use is unmatched — guests can join quickly, even if they’re not tech-savvy, and we can focus on the conversation instead of troubleshooting. The Number of Features makes it versatile for everything from live interviews to podcast production, and the Ease of Integration with our editing and publishing tools streamlines our process.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

There’s truly nothing we would call a “dislike.” If anything, we’d love to see Riverside continue to expand its capabilities because it has set such a high bar already. The Ease of Implementation, the reliability, and the responsive Customer Support make it clear Riverside is built for creators at every level.orm that feels this reliable, polished, and creator-focused.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has solved one of our biggest challenges: producing professional-grade podcasts with ease and reliability. Dr. Carr’s show, The Culture Docent, depends on clear audio, seamless remote interviews, and a platform that integrates smoothly with our radio and social media channels. Before Riverside, managing multiple guests, ensuring quality sound, and syncing everything to our distribution network was complicated and time-consuming.

With Riverside, we’ve eliminated technical headaches and gained confidence in every recording session. The platform’s ease of use, excellent customer support, and robust features mean we can focus on content and culture—not troubleshooting tech. This has benefited us enormously as a global radio station and podcasting brand with over 771K followers, because it allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality content that builds trust and keeps our audience engaged.

 ### 35. My daily driver for long-form video

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew B. | AI Creative Director and Consultant, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Above all else, I like how dependable Riverside is for high-quality recording. I can have a guest halfway across the world, and the final audio still sounds like we’re in the same room. The local recording feature is the unsung hero because it saves tracks directly from each person’s device, so even if someone’s Wi-Fi drops, the quality doesn’t suffer.

To me, the platform feels built for creators who care about both polish and speed. I can record, edit, and publish in one place without jumping between tools. It’s simple, clean, and just works.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

There’s not much to dislike, but a few small things stand out. The built-in editor can feel limiting for more nuanced polish if that's what you need. Upload syncs sometimes take longer than expected, especially with longer video files. I also wish there were more visual customization options for branding the studio layout. None of these are deal-breakers, though.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside solved the chaos that used to come with remote recording. Before, I’d juggle Zoom, separate mics, and messy audio syncs. Now everything’s captured locally in studio-quality tracks that stay aligned. It eliminated the fear of “what if the connection drops?” because each person’s audio and video are recorded on their own device. The automatic upload and browser-based setup make it simple for guests too, which saves a ton of back-and-forth. The result is faster turnaround, less post-production cleanup, and way more confidence hitting record. It’s basically turned my podcast workflow into a system I can trust every time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick J. | Author, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I am just beginning with podcasting and many of the tools and resources are very intuitive. Being able to edit with AI is great, and I especially like the automatic shorts that it creates from the podcast to be able to promote the podcast. Great value and resources!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

So far I have not been frustrated with any features or services.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside is a recording software for my podcasts and socials related to the podcast. It saves from normalizing using audacity or another software, those features are all built in!

 ### 38. At first I was afraid… I was petrified… but now I love Riverside

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pupi N. | Content creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The support and self service tools to learn how to use the studio. Also the quality of the sound and projects are impeccable. The magic clips are my favorite thing ever, I always look forward to them.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

It is so hard to keep up with all the functions and specially when the studio is all set in English I get frustrated to find the correct setting or path. It’s friendly but not so user friendly sometimes, you can ger overwhelmed and end up not using the new magic tools

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tech and costumer service is absolutely amazing. Sometimes when technical difficulties occur on the recording you can quickly fix it or find a recording that got stuck when the internet ks not working. Other improvements are the conversely chat that understands what you don’t with all the overwhelming options you have to edit

 ### 39. A production editor's dream for remote interviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah J. | Video Producer and Content Creator, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

As an editor, the quality of the source files is what I appreciate most. Getting separate, high-quality video and WAV audio tracks for each person makes post-production so much more flexible. The ease of use for the guests is also a huge plus—they just click a link. The number of features, like the built-in video editing for quick cuts and the magic clipper for social media, saves me a ton of time on smaller projects.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

For a professional editor, the video and audio editing tools are understandably limited. I primarily use it for capturing the best possible source footage. I've also noticed that if a guest has a very slow internet connection, the initial upload of their high-res video can delay the editing process.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My biggest problem was receiving poorly compressed, mixed-down audio and video files from remote recordings. Riverside solves this by giving me pristine, separate tracks to work with. The benefit is a much higher quality final product and the ability to fix issues that would be impossible with a single mixed audio file, making my clients much happier.

 ### 40. Easy to Navigate, but Needs More Customization Options

I wish you had more options for the audience in the chat.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love how intuitive the platform feels; even guests with zero tech experience can hop in and sound like pros. The video and audio sync perfectly every time, and the AI tools for transcription and clipping save me hours each week.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

Occasionally, the post-processing can take a few minutes longer than expected — but honestly, that’s a small price to pay for the reliability and quality Riverside delivers.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has become the backbone of my content production. It gives me peace of mind knowing my recordings are secure, high-quality, and easy to manage. If you’re serious about podcasting or video interviews, this is the platform to trust.

 ### 42. Smooth, User-Friendly, and Low-Effort to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

It is very smooth, user friendly, and low effort for an ADHD non-technical person who does finance, not AV.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The video software could be better at blocking out background like other video softwares are, this is really my main gripe. Makes me look choppy and bald.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Supremely easy podcast creation, helpful short videos automatically pulled from it, etc.

**Official Response from Dor Druker:**

> Caleb, low-effort is honestly the goal — creating great content shouldn't require fighting your tools. Really glad Riverside is delivering that for you!
– Dor from Riverside

 ### 43. Saves Time on Podcast Editing, Minor Recording Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mandi D. | Nurse Practitioner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

It has saved me so much time with podcast editing. There was a bit of a learning curve to start, but I'm getting better day by day, and the finished product is great quality.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I have run into a couple of snags with recording that can't be fixed after the fact (once had echo on the recording that wasn't present during the session), but not as many issues as I had on my previous platform.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to manually do all of my editing previously and it took time to find clips for marketing - clicking the AI buttons to remove pauses and the "ums" in the recording, balancing sound, and choosing from the generated clips has saved me hours of manual work every week, and saved me from even considering hiring expensive assistants.

 ### 44. Essential Tool for Effortless Storytelling and Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan H. | Sr. Employee Advocate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Using Riverside has allowed me to easily conduct, edit, and share customer & colleague stories - between Magic Clips and the ability to easily export, it's a non-negotiable tool I'll be using moving forward.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I would say I wish there was another tier for more experienced users without having to "Talk to a Sales Person", as I'd like to upgrade to just a more premium version with more producer/host tools.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has made it simple for me to conduct, edit, and share stories from both customers and colleagues. With features like Magic Clips and the straightforward export options, this tool has become essential for my workflow and is something I plan to continue using.

 ### 45. Fundamentally Changed How We Approach Customer Storytel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Director of Growth | Pilot, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

The ease of use is fantastic—my marketing team was able to create and launch professional product tours almost immediately without any technical help. Implementation was straightforward and didn't require IT support, which saved us valuable time. We use Hopscotch weekly to guide users through new features, and the number of features available strikes the right balance between powerful and manageable. It has allowed us to capture more authentic and compelling customer stories. Because the setup is less intimidating for customers than a full studio setup, we get more natural and powerful testimonials. Customer support has been responsive on the rare occasions we've needed assistance, and the tool integrates easily with our existing web app.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

While the core features are strong, I'd like to see even more template options to speed up the creation process for common use cases. The ease of integration was generally good, though adding more native integrations with popular analytics platforms would make it even better. Occasionally, the background noise removal can be a bit aggressive on a particularly noisy connection, but you can adjust the raw audio file anyway.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing authentic customer stories was difficult with clunky, intimidating technology. Riverside's simplicity solved this. The benefit is a richer library of genuine testimonials that are far more effective for building trust with prospects.

 ### 46. Podcasting for Rookies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawna B. | Wellness Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

I'm not a tech expert. When I tell people I host my own podcast, they ask me how difficult it is and how I have time to do it on my own. My reply is that I use Riverside.fm and it couldn't be easier. I record the episode. Edit it with tools that are simple and explanatory. And then add it Spotify. If I ever do run into an issue with editing, I do a quick search and can always find a video to explain what I need to do. I 10/10 recommend!

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

I've learned this lesson the hard way. If someone calls when I'm recording on my phone, I get kicked out of Riverside. And have to re-start the recording.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside allows me to record my weekly podcast (which is currently audio only) and my monthly webinar all in one place with the same easy to use backend tools.

 ### 47. Inexpensive, Dependable Answer to Our In-House Training Recordings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Owen R. | IT Project Manager | Business Manager,, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

We have been using Riverside for about six months to record and edit our internal technical training sessions and software demonstrations. As an IT project manager, ease of use was essential for our rollout. Implementation was straightforward—we opted for a cloud deployment, and our team of roughly 15 people was able to go live within a day, which made the process very efficient. The range of features is well balanced; the separate audio and video track functionality, especially for recordings with multiple speakers, has been invaluable. We rely on this feature several times a week, and the frequency of use shows just how integral Riverside has become to our information sharing. Integration is simple: we download the finished video and upload it to our internal SharePoint, which is a straightforward process. Considering the price, and especially with our renewal discount, Riverside has proven to be a very effective tool for us.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The built-in editor lacks a few features that we rely on for producing more polished final cuts, so we usually perform a final touch-up in a different program. We've only needed to contact customer support once; while they did resolve our issue, their response time was slower than what we typically expect from business software. Currently, I estimate that around 20% of our users have fully transitioned to using it for their own recordings, while some still tend to fall back on standard screen recorders out of habit.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This solution takes the burden of creating high-quality training materials off the producer’s shoulders, all without requiring a large budget. In the past, our recordings often suffered from poor audio and pixelated screen shares whenever someone’s internet connection faltered. The ability to record locally has eliminated these issues, ensuring our training videos maintain a professional standard. As a result, we’re able to build up institutional knowledge more effectively and reduce the need for senior developers to repeatedly answer the same questions in person. It’s a practical solution that reliably fulfills its core promise.

 ### 48. All-in-One Recording, Editing, and Uploading Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan N. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Being able to record, edit and upload all in one.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

No discounts for referrals. I can’t use camera backgrounds on 4k

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Needing to record and upload separately. Being able to do it in one makes life easier

 ### 49. Effortless Podcast Distribution and Production All in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JImmy T. | Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

Riverside truly serves as a one-stop shop for podcasters, handling everything from show production to RSS distribution. I previously struggled for quite some time to get my show onto Apple Podcasts through Spotify, which was a frustrating experience. However, with just a few simple clicks on Riverside, my show was submitted and approved quickly, and it is now available on Apple Podcasts.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

The only thing so far that has been a little frustrating is the music available in editing is not available in the Studio. My theme music is not available, so I've had to make some adjustments.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Riverside has a great set of production tools and keeps adding all the time! I also really like their AI tools.

 ### 50. We simplified onboarding for remote expert interviews and client evaluations.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip W. | Video Production Manager, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Riverside?**

As a Video Production manager, I have been using Riverside for the past seven months to record remote interviews for client testimonials and internal training videos. The best thing about it is how easy it is to use for our guests. They join a high-quality recording session from a link in their browser without any complicated downloads. We found it made implementation very easy. We rely on it multiple times each week, and we wouldn’t do that if it didn’t work. The numerous features that come with it, especially the separate auto and video tracks, allow our editors to use clean source files. Simple integration of transitions in our post-production workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro. The other platforms which we had highlighted before caused us issues with audio sync and quality.

**What do you dislike about Riverside?**

While the platform is great for capture, we find the internal editing features far too basic for our professional requirements so we only use to make a quick low-res approval cut The lengthy processing and preparation of high-res files for download can sometimes delay our editing schedule. Please Excuse Us. Though the customer service agent was helpful when we contacted customer support. Our query took over 24 hours to be answered, which feels like an eternity on a stalled project.

**What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you are recording remotely with non-technical guests, audio and video quality can often be inconsistent. Riverside solves that. Earlier, we’d get files that had echo, compression artifacts and audio that wasn’t in sync. This would lead to time being wasted in salvage operations by our editors. We now have a reliable framework that guarantees high fidelity source from every party. Our confidence in remote shoots has increased, which has helped boost the quality and efficiency that branded content and how-to video production demands.
