"Good, but if it were stand alone, excellent."
What do you like best about Quixel Suite?

This suite consists of various software:

- DDO has excellent management of masks and dirt, even the creation of materials is not bad at all,

- NDO is among the best to create normal map, gives you much control.

- Megascan is a fantastic library of assets and materials for all engines

- Bridge is an extremely powerful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quixel Suite?

This tool it is a plug-in for photoshop and the creation of the innumerable layers takes time, to make tests or small changes sometimes it takes a few minutes. The 3D display module sometimes does not work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Better than Substance"
What do you like best about Quixel Suite?

Quixel is built as a suite of Photoshop plugins which makes getting used to the toolset as natural as breathing for most artists. As a healthy bonus, it has the largest and most diverse library of photogrammetry scans available in one place by miles built right in and is easily extendable in the rare instance (haven't ran into one to date in the years I have used the software) that there isn't a material archetype that you need to build from. NDO is the best normal editing tool in existence and makes crafting highly detailed normals a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quixel Suite?

The only major weakness in the suite is the lack of properly skin scans however the library is easily extendable with your own scans. We just used some we found elsewhere but it would be nice if they could add a suite of scans from different ethnic groups to the mega scans library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful 3d texturing solution for any project"
What do you like best about Quixel Suite?

Quixel was designed for use in Photoshop. This makes using it easy and familiar for Photoshop users and the Quixel interface is, by itself has a very navigable interface. It takes very little time to adjust to its work-flow once you understand it and the texture work that can be achieved once you get to that point is astounding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quixel Suite?

For beginners trying to learn Quixel it can be a bit daunting. The work-flow is slightly different at start up and not immediately intuitive. With a little direction that quickly fades away and getting work done happens rather quickly. The other thing that can be a stumbling block is the way assets need to be created. With other solutions you need only have a material assigned and it brings in the object as a whole and broken down based on materials. With Quixel it requires MatID's to really open up its full potential. It can access models with individual objects and their independent materials but it can be resource heavy as well as being slower to manipulate the objects after import. Despite that it would take a big file, and limited system resources, to really keep Quixel from being usable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quixel , a very friendly and powerfull tool for 3D artist"
What do you like best about Quixel Suite?

I like quixel for his simple environnement , because it works in synergy with Photoshop .

It's simple to use , and the support et the community are awesome. I'm loving the procedural material library, it's very usefull and timeless to create textures for my 3D models , in all cases.

I'm also loving is Normal creation tools , It's helpfull for me to create normal maps with out model details or sculpt details on my High poly model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quixel Suite?

I don't like the very long time between two udaptes. Actually the software is a little bit laid aside by is creators.

I'm also dislike , his many crash come from nowhere . And his lack of tools or features , already present in others software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
