Rendering time, this is a problem across all 3d programs IMO. When you use Mograph, and booles heavily it slows down the preview animation so much. I have to often merge objects into one and flatten materials to help it move in real time. I deal with this a lot not just with Cinema4d but Adobe After Effects. With more RAM, better processor, etc this can be overcome. **Recommendations to others considering Cinema 4D:** You have to think about what is your goal using Cinema 4d. If you are doing architectural 3D, I would recommend 3Ds Max Design, if you have looking for a cost effective and you are young I would recommend Blender since it is free.
