What do you like best about QL2?

1. Provides critical pricing information across our competitor set that assures we are competitive with the other large players in our industry

2. Reliable scheduled data provided in formats our systems can ingest for big data analysis

3. Relatively easy to use GUI to conduct adhoc analysis

4. Improved development times of new bots

What do you dislike about QL2?

1. Bot issues are identified by us, submitted to QL2 via ticket that kicks off problem resolution - would like to see a more proactive system that detects anomalies or large drops in success that might detect a bot issue a little earlier. What do you like best about QL2?

We are users since more than one decade and QL2 is the most simple and powerful tool we are using. Even when we needed support the answer was fast and precise solving our more complex needs.

We love that there are still a lot of options availaible we are not using now, but we think make this software useful for another decade at least. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QL2?

As long time user perhaps the only shortcomming is that the help text has not been extensevely updated along the years. It is simple, easy to understand, but perhaps more examples will be welcomed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QL2?

It's a relatively low cost solution with big impact for our company as the resources required to simply collect the data are beyond the scope of what we have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QL2?

Lack of documentation around what specific keyword need to be entered into the "Reference" Input to access different types of information from the searches.

Some sort of outline or dictionary would be useful to have, as this would remove the need to raise a ticket every time we do not understand why our search is not working due to having the wrong keywords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QL2?

It is very powerful and customizable. With a good understanding of regular expressions and basic coding/SQL, it is possible to construct scripts that pull and normalize content from a very wide variety of sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is not very good at handling some more complex and modern websites that use AJAX, ASPX or a complex front-end UI wrapper. Integration with AWS could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QL2?

Most of the time QL2 listens and thinks of finding quick solutions to the customers problems and challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QL2?

QL2 has technical scaling challenges and a challenge with circumfenting the latest blocking technologies. As a customer, it looks like the product iterations and improvements have been slow to absent. The UI has been due to be renewed for over 2 years. In terms of monitoring the output data (quality) and alerting the customer there are barely any features in place, this means as a customer you're always chasing the latest bug. For users to trust the product they need to see more metrices, more monitoring and quick repairs. It is economically expensive and tiring for a customer to be doing data checks all the time. It lacks an efficient way to then follow up on these issues, because as customer you are always chasing the support desk. With the lack of an interface here, you end up going through lists of e-mail history & communication, which makes it hard to track issues & their progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QL2 responds quickly to requests about changes in scripts and websites. Scripts are being developed in a good amount of time. Overall QL2 is a reliable partner when it comes to delivering data and ticket support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QL2?

Sometimes there is no notification when websites stop delivering data. This should be ensured for every script outage in combination with a direct ticket that is opened to get this problem resolved as quick as possible.

The scripts fail every time you need them. It takes weeks, sometimes months to be fixed, so it's impossible to plan when to deliver the results if a request.

They have a very poor support and customer service. Additionally, we send many (many, many, many) emails to our point of contact to ask for help and she never replies us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Service not what it once was"
What do you like best about QL2?

The user interface, lets you have total control over the collection of data from what is collected and when. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QL2?

Their service used to be incredible. Bugs were resolved almost straight away. In recent times this has slipped to sometimes unresolved, generally weeks, then the fix doesn't always work. This has forced us to shop around, and we now have a new primary vendor for our collections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
