"Secure, Self-Hosted File Management with Reliable Syncing for Teams"
What do you like best about Pydio?

Pydio is excellent for teams that need a centralized and secure way to manage files. I appreciate how easy it is to set up workspaces for different projects and assign permissions for individual users or groups. The platform’s self-hosted model ensures full control over our data, which is important for compliance and privacy. File syncing works reliably, and sharing documents internally has become much faster and safer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

The permission management system, while powerful, can be a bit complicated for new users. Setting up larger teams with multiple access levels requires patience. Additionally, some of the advanced features could be more intuitive, and an updated interface would make navigation smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Dependable Document Management with Full Data Control"
What do you like best about Pydio?

Pydio offers a practical way to manage documents securely without depending on third-party cloud storage. I like how it allows full control over data while still supporting collaboration across teams. The platform makes it easy to organize files into structured workspaces and assign access based on roles. File uploads and downloads are stable, and syncing works well even when multiple users are active at the same time. Overall, it feels dependable for everyday document management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

Some configuration steps, especially around permissions and workflows, can feel a bit overwhelming at first. The interface is functional but could benefit from a more modern design. Additional onboarding resources or setup wizards would make the experience smoother for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure Self-Hosted File Sharing with Flexible Permissions and Smooth Sync"
What do you like best about Pydio?

Pydio makes it simple to manage and share files securely within a team. The platform’s ability to self-host and maintain full control over data is a huge benefit for organizations that prioritize privacy. I particularly appreciate the flexible permission settings, which allow me to define access for specific users, groups, or individual files. Uploading, downloading, and syncing documents is smooth, and the system handles large file sets without significant delays. Overall, it provides a structured and reliable workspace for collaborative projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

Setting up permissions for larger teams can feel cumbersome at first, and some of the workflow automation tools are not very intuitive. A more guided setup process and a slightly updated interface would make the platform easier for newcomers. Occasionally, performance slows down when working with very large datasets. "Reliable Self-Hosted Document Sharing with Strong Access Controls"
What do you like best about Pydio?

Pydio offers a reliable way to store, manage, and share documents within an organization. I appreciate the self-hosted setup, which allows us to keep sensitive data on our own servers. The platform supports detailed access rules, making it easy to control who can view or edit specific files. Collaboration between team members is smooth, and file synchronization works consistently across devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

Some features require technical knowledge to configure properly, especially when setting up advanced permissions and integrations. The interface is functional but could benefit from modernization. New users may need time and support before feeling fully comfortable with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Task Management with User-Friendly Features"
What do you like best about Pydio?

I find Pydio to be a great application for automating day-to-day tasks, especially in HR, as it helps eliminate repetitive tasks. Its user-friendliness and variety of options make it a go-to tool for organizational operations. Even those with little experience can get started easily due to its lucid language and graphical representation. I appreciate how it provides multiple solutions for any given task, allowing me to choose what best suits my needs. Pydio's feature of automation makes it a pleasurable experience by handling data and tasks smoothly, and its open source nature with file sharing and synchronization is a huge advantage. Overall, Pydio has been phenomenal for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

There's a bit of an issue where everything could go wrong if you make a wrong judgment or miscalculate the next step, leading to erroneous input moving ahead. It differs from conventional applications like Google Drive and Dropbox because it's not cloud-based. Pydio could think about being cloud-based as it would probably be more conducive overall as a software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best marketplace to work with!"
What do you like best about Pydio?

Thanks to pydio for providing great platform when it comes to file sharing, I personally used and I am continuously using this to share multiple files in a go without any glitch and slow process, which most of the sharing platforms do this. One thing that I rely on is security and ease of workflow which always add cherry on top. Thanks for providing this platform I always wish for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

Apart from all the pros, i am just not comfortable with complexity of software which makes it a bit complex for me to use, I wish this multitasking software should come with less complex features which makes it more user-friendly.

I'll keep posting and sharing my likes and dislikes whenever I'll encounter any for audience to have more idea of this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Online space for file sharing andSelective Sharing"
What do you like best about Pydio?

I am also able to assign permissions based on individual user, group and even a specific file. This helps to make sure that only the people who are allowed to view and access these particular papers are allowed to do so and thus it makes my data to be very secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

Pydio’s working flow concept is not very sound in my opinion. Setting up and working with tasks and automating them feels very clumsy and does not facilitate working together. The integration of external tools to make the processes operational is somewhat restricted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Former system of dispersed cloud storage platforms"
What do you like best about Pydio?

Pydio performs best in allowing the admin to set and manage permissions on a per user and per file basis. This is particularly useful for my job at a design agency because various teams should access particular project files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pydio?

It is difficult to manage these permissions. Managing specific access control for a large team poses a problem because it is cumbersome to coordinate. It’s not a very efficient method to create permission groups or to assign them to folders at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
