# Which unified workspace platforms offer strong health, safety, and compliance features for organizations considering a multi-year contract?

Reading through the Unified Workspaces reviews on G2, the honest reframe in the post is the right move; these tools&#39; review content overwhelmingly covers data governance and access control, not physical health and safety, so the question, as literally phrased, isn&#39;t really what the review base can answer. Encryption, granular access controls, and audit support are genuinely strong signals for the compliance half of a multi-year evaluation, and reviewers describing complex setup alongside those controls is a fair trade many security teams accept for the governance depth. What a G2 review genuinely can&#39;t tell you is whether a platform holds up to your specific security team&#39;s control test, since that&#39;s an internal audit exercise, not something reflected in satisfaction scores. Before a multi-year commitment, the compliance evidence worth actually requiring is a current SOC 2 or equivalent report and a data processing agreement, not a G2 rating, since the rating reflects user experience with the controls rather than whether the controls themselves would pass your own review.
