ProXPN provides a global virtual private network (VPN) service creating a secure encrypted tunnel for online data. Any device or application that uses an internet connection can be protected by ProXPN including web browsers, email clients, instant messaging programs, and more. ProXPN offers a free basic version and a premium version that adds features like the ability to access government blocked internet protocols (IPs) and internet service provider (ISP) blocked websites.
ProXPN VPN is based in the Netherlands, which makes it a good pick in terms of privacy. It's more secure than a VPN based out of Britain or the US. They also have a solid no logging policy, which is a must for privacy.
What do you dislike?
512-bit encryption. Not secure. It's great that they're not logging, but that benefit isn't so great if someone can hack the connection in the first place. This is a significant issue for financial transactions and other privacy-sensitive uses.
Recommendations to others considering the product
For the price and the lack of features, there are many better VPNs on the market.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The purpose of a VPN is to provide an encrypted connection. That's what I've used it for.
