Secure and stable network

OpenVPN CloudConnexa is very convenient for remote employee VPN access. The client is easy to install and configure, so users can get connected quickly with minimal support. Since it's a managed service, IT administrators don't have to worry about maintaining VPN servers, which saves time and reduces operational effort.

Secure, Stable VPN Access That Makes Remote Work Effortless

What I like most is that it gives me secure access to my company’s internal resources no matter where I’m working. Since I work remotely fairly often, I can connect to the office network in just a few clicks and keep going without having to worry about the connection. In my experience, the connection has been stable, which really matters when I’m running automation tests, accessing internal applications, or using development and testing environments that are only available through the company network. Once I’m connected, I can work as if I were in the office, and I rarely need to reconnect or spend time troubleshooting VPN issues. The interface is simple and doesn’t require much setup from an end-user perspective. Connecting and disconnecting is straightforward, and it runs quietly in the background without getting in the way of my work. Overall, it has made remote work much smoother by providing secure, reliable access to the systems I need every day. It’s one of those tools I barely think about because it simply does its job well.

Flexible, Easy, and Secure Access to Windows Desktops and Apps

One of the things I like most is how it combines flexibility, ease of use, and strong security. It’s straightforward to connect and get a reliable connection, which makes it easy for both technical and non-technical teams to implement without issues. I also appreciate that it provides access to Windows desktops and applications.

What is OpenVPN?

OpenVPN is a network security company that builds secure connectivity software for the modern workforce, offering two complementary products — Access Server and CloudConnexa — each purpose-built for business and SMB (small and midsize business) use, spanning everything from self-managed on-premise deployments to fully managed cloud-delivered security. Access Server is a self-hosted VPN server application that gives businesses secure remote access to their private network, applications, and data. As business VPN software, it can be deployed in the cloud or on-premise, making it a flexible VPN for business teams that are remote, hybrid, or in-office — whether that's a VPN for small business or an enterprise VPN environment that needs high availability and clustering. Access Server layers in zero trust network access (ZTNA) fundamentals such as granular permissions, least-privilege enforcement, and device- and location-based verification, along with a built-in X.509 PKI, SAML/LDAP/RADIUS authentication, multi-factor authentication, and AES-256-GCM encryption, all managed through an intuitive Admin Web UI, CLI, and REST/XML-RPC API. CloudConnexa is a cloud-delivered zero trust network access (ZTNA) and secure access service edge (SASE) platform built as a single-vendor SASE solution for SMBs that want enterprise-grade security without enterprise-level overhead. Rather than self-hosting infrastructure, businesses connect through a fully managed Wide-area Private Cloud (WPC) spanning 30+ global points of presence, gaining continuous zero trust access, zero trust remote access, and zero trust application access to private apps and networks. Built-in IDS/IPS (Cyber Shield), content filtering, device posture policies, and zero trust access control extend zero trust network security and zero trust cloud security across every connection, while SSO, SCIM, and passwordless authentication simplify identity management. As a network access control solution with predictable SASE pricing, CloudConnexa gives growing businesses an alternative to piecing together tools from multiple ZTNA vendors or ZTNA providers. Together, Access Server and CloudConnexa give OpenVPN customers a choice between a self-hosted VPN server they fully control and a cloud-delivered SASE service that's managed for them, both purpose-built for business and SMB needs, and both grounded in the same zero trust principles that keep remote, hybrid, and in-office teams secure. Positioned as a remote access VPN, or simply a VPN for remote access, Access Server layers in essential zero trust network access (ZTNA) capabilities: granular permissions, least-privilege enforcement, and verification that connections come from trusted devices and locations. This makes it a strong secure remote access VPN choice for protecting sensitive data and isolating SaaS applications from the open internet. It also supports site-to-site VPN connections, extending your business network securely to remote offices. For deployment, Access Server offers real flexibility as VPN server hosting: pre-configured images are available for AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, DigitalOcean, Oracle Cloud, and IBM Cloud, giving you a cloud VPN service option, or you can run it as an on-premises VPN on your own hardware. Whether you prefer a fully managed VPN experience or hands-on control, Access Server can function as a VPN-as-a-service through your infrastructure provider, and it pairs an intuitive Admin Web UI, REST/XML-RPC API, and command-line tools with strong security: built-in X.509 PKI, SAML/LDAP/RADIUS authentication, multi-factor authentication, and AES-256-GCM encryption. The result is one of the more complete VPN and ZTNA solutions for businesses that need scalable, cost-effective, and genuinely secure connectivity as they grow.
