What I like most about Netgate pfSense is how much control it gives you without being overly complicated. It’s reliable, secure, and flexible enough to handle everything from basic setups to more advanced networking needs. I also appreciate that it’s not a closed system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially if you’re new to networking. Some advanced features take time to understand, and the learning curve can be steep. It’s powerful, but you do need some technical knowledge to get the most out of it.
