"Using for email campaigns and Facebook Ads"

What do you like best?

Talking to an account rep that wasn't trying to upsell some extra software or subscription we aren't looking for or going to use was so refreshing! We got right down to important business, which was defining our target customer. While we have done this exercise before, they took it to the next level and actually recommended less than what we originally asked for, and argued that we should start more narrow (which means less money for them), that's integrity!

What do you dislike?

I can't say one bad thing about our experience. They coached us on the data we needed, and what we got was exactly what we expected.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Read their website, it explains what they have to offer pretty well. Then sign up for an account and try a free sample to make sure they can hit your target like they did for us.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We took our email campaigns from a one-size-fits-all approach to having 6-7 segments with different messaging and cadences. Our response rates went from 1-2% to around 8%. We've also been excited about using the data to match with Facebook custom audience tool, allowing us to show ads to exactly the proper audience rather than a wider demographic.

"Most accurate of 5 lead gen and prospecting platforms tested"

What do you like best?

I looked at several B2B lead services by spending a few weeks going through their demos and looking at actual data using the same criteria so it would be apples-to-apples. Prospect Direct had the most complete data we found, around 30-50% more overall records in the criteria we were looking for - SME retail chains, Director, VP and C-suite in various functional areas like marketing, branding and IT.  Digging into the actual data, we took a subset of the sample and looked them up in LinkedIn and Google, only found 1 error out of for 50 records checked. Most others had at least 10, usually having left the company or switched jobs months/years ago. We thought this was amazing given they claim to have over 400 million contacts in their database.

What do you dislike?

There was some company data lacking for the smaller companies. I asked our rep about it and they said that with smaller private companies the data was either lacking or couldn’t be confirmed by the minimum 2 sources they require to validate. I guess the upside is that they adjust the price accordingly for these records, or gave me the option to only buy contacts that have full company fields populated.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you know who you’re target customers are but are having trouble finding them, or are using a manual process to contact them, then you’ll probably love Prospect Direct. Like with all data and SaaS products, test out a few solutions like we did to make sure it’s a good fit. We just needed great data, and they delivered on that.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Prospect Direct helped me and my team reduce the time spent looking for and contacting leads by over 50%. Because of this, we’ve been able to load more candidates in the top of the funnel leading to more deals, and are in the process of hiring 2 more reps to support the growth.

"They hit the mark on the companies and contacts we target"

What do you like best?

An actual person consults with you about how to define your target customer. Rick asked questions that helped narrow down the ranges and keywords. The resulting data was exactly what we expected and has allowed us to set meetings and have plenty of warm leads to follow up with.

What do you dislike?

Nothing was a dislike about the experience, wish they had info on tech used by the companies as this would be valuable for us.

If you need reliable B2B data or help defining you ideal customers, Prospect Direct has a good product and process. They give you a sample of the data that meets your criteria, so you can try before you buy.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We just hired a couple new SDRs, and just in time our organic leads started slowing down. We found Prospect Direct and decided to try them out to plug the gap. The new guys were working them and getting to close quickly, so we’ve since integrated the data into a weekly prospecting routine that accounts for around 35% of our lead gen. Also using to build custom audiences on paid ads has reduced our spend as we’re being more targeted with the data.

"Generating More Quality Prospects"

What do you like best?

Very straightforward process to get the data and apply it using their Sales Assistant tool for email marketing campaigns. We have a good, differentiated product and just needed to reach new audiences. This was perfect for that, like pouring gasoline on the fire.

What do you dislike?

A few company headcounts were off, but this is most likely caused by companies reporting themselves to be bigger than they really are.

I highly recommend Prospect Direct if you're looking for high quality data and marketing solutions.

Sales and revenue growth. We've nearly doubled our pipeline of active prospects and closed deals in only a few months.
