As an autocad frequent user I can say that using progecad is just like using autocad, it is a really good substitute at an affordable price. It has some compatibility issues; some of our clients who work with autocad report that they almost need to convert the drawing for them to use it. Also when working with medium to large drawings it can crash. It has the same issue as autocad that it can be overwhelming when learning it, there are so many commands that doing something as simple as a circle requires for 3 or 4 steps.
