"Super charge your POC's"
What do you like best about Prelay?

POC's are a critical investement of time both from buyer as well as sellers perspective to prove product value. As such pre-sales teams need to be very precise with the requirements/milestones tracking and overall tracking for the POC - despite this being so critical often process used to track this is very manual(shared docs/emails etc.). This is where Prelay changes the game by providing a simple UI/UX interface to get detailed visibility into all ongoing POC's - broken down by each individual stage/tasks which can be seamlessly shared between SE team as well as external POC stakeholders. This helps provides deep visibility to all stakeholders on current POC state/blockers/improvement areas and ensure clear alignment on expectations/outcomes.

Pros:

-Seamless integration with Salesforce with out of the box reporting and analytics

-Ability to customize POC templates as well as seamless integration with Slack/Email and other productivity tools

-Easy way to track internal assists (engineering/Ops/Infosec) to ensure process is continously improved

-Ability to easily share details with external stakeholders

What do you dislike about Prelay?

Cons:

-No native integration with JIRA(yet)

What do you like best about Prelay?

"Making POCs easy"
What do you like best about Prelay?

Prelay has dramatically improved the effectiveness of our POCs.

It speeds up and simplifies the creation of test plans and makes it easy for all parties invovled to have a clear understanding of the POCs status. Our customers appreciate the clear visibility into next steps and progress at all layers of their org. What do you like best about Prelay?

• I like the general idea of Prelay. Ie using a structured format to organize/track a Proof of Concept for evaluating technology.

• I like the heirarchical model of defining components of a POC:

⁃ Business Objective -> Success Criteria -> Milestones

• I like how the above 3 components are mapped backwards

⁃ Milestones map to Success Criteria which map to Business Obj.

• Why I like the above mapping is that it enables you to identify what milestones are most important by having the customer identify what business objectves are most important to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prelay?

• I don't like how it is too inflexible. ie as an end-user (not a mgr) I am unable to add additional unique milestones. Also, I'm unable to remove (some) unnecessary milestones.

• I don't like how the results of a milestone are limited. You only offer completed, not started, in progress, blocked, and skip. There is nothing to indicated the level of success of a milestone. Was the milestone successfully completed? Was it a partial success? This is a major failing on the product in my opinion. It is not very nuanced.

• There needs to be general comment section for each milestone, not just for each task within a milestone. I end up having to repeat a lot of text in each task.

• I wish you had a tech and a business section that could be independently closed. As it is, everthing is lumped together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Prelay?

What do you dislike about Prelay?

Inability to create my own or customer specified milestones without admin interaction.

I would like to be able to create a play and pull in my own preset milestones rather than using only the milestones in a single template. This lets me reuse previously created milestones; once custom milestones becomes a feature.

I do not like forgetting to save content in a task section and then going to a different task, and losing what I was typing in the original task section. I wish it would just bring back to where I was, and what I was typing when I come back to the section.

Would like more flexible completion criteria. "Successful" and "Unsuccessful" are a bit broad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
